Why use LEAP Wifi Free over other offerings on the Android Market? Unlike other offerings, this application is targeted specifically for configuring a LEAP wifi profile. The reason this is significant is because through my extensive testing and debugging of customer-reported issues, I have found MANY inconsistencies between the different Android OS releases and devices. The coding required to successfully connect to a LEAP network needs to compensate for these many inconsistencies. The other offerings out there are general wifi configuration tools, which means they don't give focused attention to the special requirements of creating a proper LEAP configuration.

I was using this app without any problems for about a year. Now I upgraded to JB 4.2.2 and it simply doesn't work, just like the others have already reported. If it is possible, please fix this. Thank you. Edit: after the update, no more crashes when saving the profile, but it still doesn't connect to the network (authentication error) (JB 4.3.1)
For those using newer versions of Android it will not work. Google has removed the leap protocol. No need to keep asking for update.
Can't use leap wifi when my phone has upgraded to kitkat
I bought a new moto G - Android version 4.4.2. Leap is not working in this. Please provide the upgrade.. I used the app in older versions and it worked flawlessly.
I have been using it for a long time.. Now I have changed my cell Nd so the os got upgraded. Its not working here. Plz upgrade leap for android 4.3
there seems to be issue on kitkat .. unable to connect to office WiFi
This used to work perfectly in my previous Galaxy Duos phone. But, not able to get it working on KitKat ( Moto E ).

Going by the text in "What's new", I was excited that finally the JB bug was fixed. But, NOOOOOOOO! it hasn't been fixed. DOES NOT WORK in JB 4.1.2 and the same "Authentication error" persists!
Used to work like a charm. Upgraded to android kitkat, does not work, kaput. Is there a fix for it somehow, somewhere, anybody... :(
Please fix it, previously work wonderful on my phone hisense device with jellybean os but after upgrade to KitKat it useless.

It was working fine for my Samsung mobile, but its not connecting since I changed to blackberry. Do u have any blackberry version of it??

This LEAP wifi free is not working with Android 4.4 Kitkat, as my Moto G contains it.Please upgrade the app as soon as possible, so that most of us can connect to the internet.
I've used this app three times in three years. Once each time I got a new phone or reloaded from scratch. It takes about 15 seconds to configure for your LEAP environment, and then it just works. Auto-connects to that SSID from then on, flawlessly. Perfect example of an app that "does just one thing and does it well."
Brilliant, it took under a minute to install app and access LEAP network from my HTC Desire running 2.2. Even though I don't need it I'm going to buy the pro version as a way of saying thank you. I can't believe Android doesn't support this out of the box.
On my Gingerbread phone this was absolutely perfect, as its simple to use and I was able to easily connect to the corporate wifi. Unfortunately on Android 4.4 it doesn't work any more, would love a fix so I can re-connect !
