Learn Greek - 6,000 Words

no ads! Love the games, they are so helpful to learn basic words and widen the vocabulary!

As a multi-linguist, this is my ideal of a language learning app. So many approaches to keep much repetition fresh, pictures for visualization, native voices for authenticity. Get this one in any language. It's excellent for getting a strong - and even comprehensive basis. Compare and you will find that this app rises to the top in multiple categories.

Very good app! Just too many clues for learning games. A plain board (without the slots for the expected numbers of characters of articles and words) will increase its difficulty. I also expected a tight penalisation for errors and also an increased rewarding for the more difficult words/phrases (ex: 7 points for good difficult frases, 3 for good simple ones, 1 or 2 point less for first error). There is no possibility to review all learned words/sentences, just ~ 200.

Update: I think everything's working now. The developer is very responsive. Original review: The content seems decent, but if you use the system keyboard so that you can practice writing, it marks things wrong - repeatedly - before you have a chance to finish writing the letters or word.

This is the first review I've done. Had to because this app is so amazing! such a wide variety of fun and useful games. This coming from language teacher who tries or loads of apps. Just got the 12 months subscription, which is just £2.41 per month. So happy with it! Thanks for all the hard work

I'm trying to teach myself to read Greek phonetically & although they have the 'greeklish' version underneath (which is massively helpful), I feel like this app isn't for absolute beginners (familiarity with the alphabet it a must). Aside from that, it's fantastic!!!!

Very easy to use, but make sure you know the alphabet before you begin!

Easy, helpful, enjoyable and profitable

Everytime I open the app it crashes with unexpected error, I clear the cache, download the lessons and get the same error everytime, I paid for this for nothing

the most helpful application and easiest for building vocabolary .Now i am beginer i tried many apps this was the one i could start learning with. its easy fun and very very helpful

Didn't understand if it's a good learning app or not because for free you get only half of the alphabet. At least a 2 weeks trial would be appreciated.

The audio is crystal clear and the different activities are both entertaining and pedagogical.

This app makes word learning an easy process. My mother tongue uses the Latin alphabet. This app is good for people whose target language is different from their mother tongue.
