I like how the app is organised in stages and lessons. It makes it less intimidating. Good tips and instructions. One thing that I would like to see added is the finger number indicated on the picture of the chord itself rather than writing which finger goes where in text. Then if there is more info, we could read it below.
I would say this app is very good for what it does. But it only shows you how to play 3 songs I believe. It's a good place to learn some basics and chords. It's definitely not for a person that just picked up a guitar for the first time. You have to have a basic understanding of the guitar before starting. I would suggest yousician for that. But overall it isn't misleading and it's a good start.
This is great. Till now I didn't find anything that is wrong in this app. Its perfect. For people who are reading this review, I would like to tell you that it is not easy to master guitar. You have to practice and give time to it. I was reading a few reviews about this app and some people typed in that it is hard for beginners. Guys everything is hard when you begin it cause you don't know how. That's why people learn to make that thing easier. Well if you guys want someone to hold your hands and fingers and teach you strumming for a few songs so that you can impress someone, then you can never succeed in learning guitar. Guitar takes time, and lot of practice. Sometimes it hurts at the beginning but later it feels pretty awesome when you play your first song after all the efforts you put in learning. Apologies, I don't mean to offend anyone. I just want to tell that if someone is trying to teach you something really amazing, then you should appreciate that work instead of complaining about it. So practise as much as you can if you want to learn any instrument. Sorry for this long comment. Have a good day!
Too complicated for total beginners. The videos are too fast paced and not thoroughly explained for someone who just picked up a guitar for the first time in their lives and has no idea what to do with it. Disappointed and discouraged from learning to play, so found other app.
I like the app and quickly learned the first song, the issue I am having is every time I go to one of the learn song pages the app crashes and goes back to the menu. After considerable effort I managed to get the learn song part to stay on my screen, but it is very frustrating. Not sure if it's my phone or an issue with the app.

nothing to say best app but only thing lacking is strumming patterns.. the only thing i expected when i installed the app:-(
I luv this app. I have now made a great career. I am very young and enthusiastic about learning the guitar. I have tried others and they didn't help as much as this. I am very excited for the future. This app has definitely changed my life. Thank you so much!
Good for learning the different cords there are. The only down side to it was that there were ads literally every 5 seconds. Or at least for me.
Personally, I love this app. It has helped me a lot to get started playing the guitar and I've been trying out other apps for a while before this and so far it's one of the best FREE learning material out there.
Good for beginners, teaches you how to learn chords and use it in songs, but song's should be a bit more elaborately explained
One minor problem is that when u go to the songbook and the video is playing and you wanna scroll down to the rest of the chords and lyrics to the song the video stops.
It's good for the most part but it doesn't teach strumming patterns for the songs which are really necessary for complete beginners such as myself. I had to look on youtube to fund these.
I HATED IT. Ads every two seconds of advise NEVER to get this app. It barely had any songs and it didn't even have modern songs! DONT get this app you'll be disappointed!
Amazing app with visual guidance. Being a beginner it was difficult at first but the course help you to ease in.
Ok but most songs are rock oriented and it dosn't teach certain things like strum patterns

I really love how organized this app is with the stages and everything else. Although I wish there would be a wider range of songs on the songbook and more genres. But I'm pretty sure it's in the works... the app's still good tho
It is very easy to use! Everything is easy to find and the instructions are simple. All in all, a very well made app. 5 stars!
I'm learning from the very beginning. This app is sweet. I just wish it wouldn't have so many adds, but guess that's the reason you can pay to remove them. Lol

Good app for beginners. Would like to see some more advanced lessons for some lead lines etc.... for players like me who got stuck playing open chords for a long time, which can really limit your playing. If your just trying to find your way, are a relative novice and want learn some cool songs taught very eloquently along the way. .... this is definitely the one for you
