I find the app very beneficial and a useful addition to my individual lessons with a tutor. I also enjoy the fact that my progress is constantly recorded on the app, spurring me on to spend time on my Italian as regularly as possible. My only frustration is that it tends to freeze during my learning sessions and I have to restart my phone before continuing, sometimes having to repeat what I had already covered.
This is a very useful app for learning phrases in certain situations. It goes a lot further than the usual phrase list apps. It gives you the chance to select items for proper flashcard learning, along with speech comparisons and writing. The selection of topics is quite large too, 5000 cards. The additional topics available to buy are more expensive, but look pretty interesting. I'll see later. I tried the trial app, and bought this because of that, so give it a try for free first and see!
The app is very, very simple in its concept, but very effective as well. Essentially you go slower than others, but when you advanced, it's because got there, not because the app put you there to make you feel better. Use it several times a day.
Letters in writing exercises are so tiny that they are extremely hard to tap. The delete button is so close that is it tapped accidently every other time. At the same time 80% of the screen is just empty. Why don't you make a new layout?
The app seems great for learning but the app interface is so bad that it screams discouragement... The experience is like from one of those poor and broke schools where the teacher is kinda over protective but the infrastructure doesn't hold up... Really wish the app looked better to ensure a smooth learning process. As of now, it isn't fun
Some find the spaced repetition useful; I find it dull and, well, repetitive. Learning feels more like a chore than something enjoyable. That isn't to say the app isn't good; it's well thought out and well designed. It just doesn't work for me.
Basically the only Italian learning app I've found that combines a large dictionary with an easy to manage spaced repetition flashcard system. You'd think that'd be common. It isn't. Five stars for that alone.
The first language app that really teaches you! I can speak and write fluently with only 6 months of 10 min a day! Far from most popular apps that just teach you to pass minigames. 100% recommendable and effective
Enjoyable and thoughtful app. I like that it repeats things at calculated spaced intervals to maximise learning and that I can make my own flash cards which it then provides further information about (premium app).
No social login option other than Facebook. Why can't I login with Google on android. I don't feel safe saving passwords with little known apps. I understand I can skip login. However, I won't be able to save my progress then.
These guys are exceptional linguists that have given careful consideration to your learning experience. Their enthusiasm is contagious and their methods are tried and true. Don't think you'll be going down a one street, they keep things moving with multiple avenues to achieve your goals.
I can recommend this app. Works for me, I learn 30 cards a day, learn them truly - in long term. I use Hands - free mode during car driving to get used to new words and later when I get home learn those words.
It's been very effective. I'm now able to communicate at a decent level with native Italian speakers. I highly recommend Mosalingua.
UPD: one day later it magically works again. So, great app and I'd rated it 4* for a little inconvenience, but already left 2* comment, so just wanna equalize. I'm happy that I'm able to continue my lessons. Good job, guys, but some bugs shoud be fixed.
Though this app ain't free it is better than Duolingo and the rest. The app is so user friendly and so nice. I'll be speaking fluent Italian soon. Thanks so much 😁
It's very helpful to learn new words and improve the knowledge you are looking for speaking a new language. Love it
I just wanted to say thank you for making this, and your other great premium apps, free from time to time. They are enjoyable and don't take up too much time if I don't have it available. Simple and fun.
I stopped using it because I learned and memorised words and sentences for a period then forgot them. I don't believe in the system you use.
Excellent app for learning Italian! Challenging, but doable. I can't believe how much I'm learning so quickly
Great app for learning. I got it for free during promotion but if I will be learning another language I will pay for the product. Worth it.
I have tried a few apps and this one is by far the best one. Easy and friendly to use. Don't download an app just because it's free, I bought this one and it's worth every cent.
A few blips and takes time to navigate at first but feel I'm learning so much. Brilliant!
Annoys with connecting to Facebook, writing exercises are apparently made for children (letters are extremely small for a normal finger).
tried 5 apps. haven't spoken italian for 28 years. had a half hour conversation with this alone. wish I knew about this one first
Easy, small steps at a time, gives you the motivation to learn more
Great app for learning vocabulary. Well worth the cost.
For the most part this is a great program for learning words and phrases. Sometimes I think their word choices in phrases are not the best. Racomandare vs consigliare and for example. Also some phrases taken out of context from their dialogues are a shot in the dark to get right and involve memorization more than do learning the language. As a folow up I am being too hard on the app. It has taught me a lot of vocabulary and how to use it. Also they respond when I submit a question.
