Learn Japanese - 6,000 Words

Good, but I like the apple version better in some ways. This version looks nice, is clean, and you can set it up so that it has minimal animations and limited ads, which is super nice. I like that the voices sound like native speakers. I like the drawings. However, I really like that you can jump around and there isn't a specific order that you are supposed to work through it on the apple version. Also, I wish they had an option for furigana with kanji. As is, it is a great app for learning.

The application is very useful, but it can be improved, for example, by adding the method of writing in hiragana along with the kanji. Learning it in kanji only made it difficult to solve the exercises. It is also better to teach grammar, for example, the types of verbs and the conjugation of each type.Types of adjectives and their patterns. The syllables between words and others because these are basic things. Learning words and sentences alone without knowing how to connect them can't help.

I've found much better apps and resources. For example, for learning to read/write Japanese, check out Kanji Study (Chase Colburn)--and it's a one-time premium-option payment. Speaking of payment, I mistakenly thought that "FEL Premium (1 Month)" meant that my subscription wouldn't automatically renew. Boy, was I wrong. It's enough that I found the app to be extremely slow paced, but more than that, I found the payment labelling to be intentionally misleading, and I really don't like that.

This app is stellar! The free options in it is so great, it helps for those who can't exactly afford it. It gives you so many options and you learn them so quick through the different methods of matching and reading the words. especially with personal modifications you can adjust of you want to start out with just Romaji. learning Japanese? use this app. it'll get you there ASAP.

I like how write word doesn't work. I tap in the text area as I assume that's what I'm supposed to do by the title since there's no instrustions and type the word. Each letter typed plays an annoying chime and nothing get inputted. So I switch to Japanese keyboard and type the word by that. An annoying chime play for each keypress and nothing gets entered.

No normal SRC. And many words represented in kana analog, though they have kanji analog. Every fool may read by katakana. But what you will do with the text where you find kanji varients? In compaund words: root - kanji, suffix and or ending - hiragana, another problem. You should find character, and this is - right, hiragana! In case, even if this is kanji, don't bother, the right one will be in the right down corner. And there will be only one or two other kanji. It's rediculos. So only 3.

I like this language study app! It's not boring, although the pictures and the appearance of the bee could use some redesigning. I believe the study material is worth purchasing.

It's amazing it tells you how to speak in japanese, and shows you what it means . And you can pick travel and it will show you travling and stuff in japanese. and there is many more. It is an awesome app, you should totally download it if you want to learn how to speak in japanese.

Needs to have hiragana and katakana as an option instead of just romanji or the combination of Hiragana & Kanji. ALSO their should be an edit/save function for word descriptions because some of the translations are wrong, but often times the speaker pronouncing the words is correct e.g. "to go to bed" the speaker says toko nitsuku (which is correct) but your romanji translation reads: yuka ni tsuku (wrong)

Don't be mislead. This app uses katakana more than it should and isn't always accurate. There are native Japanese words that are often not used and they use the English katakana form instead. Also some things are simply wrong. Kyoodai (きょうだい) means sibling not brother. This app seems like it was written by someone who either only kind of knows Japanese or just loosely looked up words on the internet.

Great way to learn a language I love the option to just learn to talk not write as well and the app has a great way of teaching I only which that it would teach more for free. Update changed my review since u can earn flowers to get free subscription

Wayyyy better at teaching than duolingo and has a very smooth gameplay. Has many words for free, and the premium is pretty affordable!

The only thing this app is missing is nite mode, it's literally amazing. I love the through, multi level learning. I feel like its actually getting through to me, wow.

I really like this app for japanese learning, I appreciate that is on Spanish language option. You learn without being bored, so far, i like it.

Not full free soo funny the free version I choose the hiragan and its just a few of alphabet 4-5 with explain and you have to buy the rest...

A lot of time is lost with the bee animation and other images, very slow process
