Useful, needs polish. It's a very useful study tool. I agree with Joseph - the repeated words needs to be removed. There are also some missing sample sentences. The one thing missing which is rather important is furigana instead of romanisation. It's necessary to give a choice of seeing roman or kana chars to accompany kanji. The quizzes are a useful feature. Overall highly recommend but it could be truly great with some polish as indicated.
As a teacher who likes to learn and teach, I find this " Learn Japaness Free " app is also working very well for someone like me to learn the language according to my own pace. I think my Japanese is basic, even though I was able to find many mistakes on the sentences so there may be many more! The good thing about this app is the fact that it pops up enough times throughout the day.
I love the word of the day notification in the tray. It's great for learning new vocabulary throughout the day. I just wish it worked more consistently.
it's a great app just wish you can see the writing for the words in the other language to and there would be like a pre school class to teach you the alphabet saying it and writing it. And all of there learning apps was on one app that way it works out for both they Promote there other learning apps and we wouldn't have to download each app all you would have to do is download the Language you want or delete it and download a different one or you can download a few of them but it is a great app
it's good, to enrichments our vocabulary, but this app missing setting to rotate in landscape mode because it's make inconvenient when using tab PC mode.
the best app for learning Japanese and I'm planning on moving to Japan when I'm older to study in the medical field it's amazing and appropriate for kids and offline as well keep up the good work
Terrible voice reproduction, way too fast and no way to slow it down. No way would I pay for the pro version.
The best free app I could find so far to learn vocabs. Please update some data and sound too. There are many repeating words too. pls amend them. Thanks

Great app for building to an intermediate vocabulary. There's a pronunciation difference from this and PORO or Rosetta Stone or LingoDeer Plus.

No romanization. Terrible. The other Jap app from this developer is better, that one has romanization Remember. BEGINNERS ALWAYS NEED ROMANIZATION. End of story
Good app. Really good. But some of the words don't have examples and sounds.
This app is way better than other 'learn japanese' apps I've installed. What's more surprising is that it works OFFLINE!
The speaking exercise is not accepting my correct answer for it does not have the kuten (。) or the full stop punctuation. How am I supposed to say a full stop aside from, of course, making a full stop in my speech? 🤷

It was okay for a bit, but then I decided to quiz myself... Then it said I got some things wrong when I didn't... But other than that, it's kind of informative!
Love this app but for some reason some simple words dont have sound, it says it will be added on the next updade

It's good app for beginner, but there is a few problem in translation, that will be solved in future updates.

A very good app with a lot of content. However the latest version added full screen ads with sound. Normally I don't mind ads in the slightest, unless they are too annoying - which is exactly the case here. And I don't mind buying apps to get more features and/or unlock more content but when I'm forced to buy a full version by shoving loud full screen ads down my throat, it's a lost cause in my opinion. Uninstalled.
