For me, its been fine for reviewing stuff so far. Gave it a 3 cause i can't see any obvious options for disabling the pinging noise when you get thing right/wrong in the quiz. It'd be better if you could turn that on/off. Mabye i'm missing something? Idk
Useful app for non speakers such as myself. It is well organized in terms of finding useful phrases and words. And I considered my learning level to be that of a kid, so yes, totally appropriate way to introduce myself to Japanese.
Very easy to use in your spare time. Phases are useful. Colors, numbers, body parts, phrases for times places and questions. This application has everything but animals. (Some animals are in the eating out section)
I've had this app for a very long time now and still use it. This program really helps when youre willing to learn new phrases or trying to get around. I recomend this for people who are beginning to take Japanese as a second or third language!
i like the changes that were made but some parts of the app have a very mechanical sound making it hard to understand what the speaker is saying this may be a technical glitch and I'm sure it will be fixed soon other than that the app is fun to use
The app is great and very helpful. A few ads wouldn't hurt. I just hope a basic japanese alphabet and kanji is great because learning the language itself from the alphabet is more powerfull than just telling the phrases in a specific time or sitiuation.
I actually learned something with this app. The audio helps a lot since some are hard to pronounce and I really struggle on reading them even when romanized but some words just dont match the audio like the word heart, in japanese it says shizo but it sounds a bit off and things like that...
I love it! It's amazing for learning Japanese, especially for people who are beginner's. This is a very simple and useable app. I very much enjoy learning Japanese, it's a very interesting language. 9/10 for learning a new language.
It is a good one to start at. And the voicing is clear enough. Writing the roman characters makes it easier to use for us who are not yet conversant with japanese characters.
The app is okay however, I have a few problems. One, sometimes it takes me back to the main menu when I'm flipping through translations. Two, Some of the romaji is incorrect. Wo should actually be o. This o is used for sentences only not for words. For example, it'd be used like this "Sushi o tabemasu" (I eat sushi.) not like this "Onamae wa?" (What is your name?) Cyu doesn't exist either. If this is the kagyou line we're talking about, it's kya, kyu or kyo. If this is the character "chi" we're talking about, it's either cha, chu or cho. Thanks to those who took the time out of there day to read this and have a nice day.
Though some words and phrases are appropriate and match, there should be details about how it matches the English phrases. For example you can say Konnichiwa at any time of the day. It is kind of misleading.
I was looking for a japanese app that can be acessible when offline. I found many apps but I got disappointed since most of these apps require a payment or has to be downloaded per category. When I found this app, I as sooo happy since you can use it without wifi and there are no payments!!! I'm really thankful that there's an app like this! 😌
Great for learning the pronunciations but not really for learning the Kanji which what they ask you to do in the tests, to be able to read Kanji(I apologize if I'm using the wrong terminology for the writing). It's one thing to memorize the Kanji for that set of Japanese words and another thing to actually know what each Kanji means. Suggestion: perhaps create a section for basic Kanji, the, A, O, Chi and such. Thank you that the app if free to use, even offline.
I love this app really learn some of the words even when its incomplete but the features are great enough. I hope we could also have a dictionary inside English to Japanese and Japanese to English so when a person speaks to us we can convert it too
I love it. This is super helpful when I'm out and about and want a short refresher offline. It's also helpful for listening to how I am pronouncing phrases.
It's a great app for learning Japanese in basic, but a little confusing in tests, it may be good if adding a English translation after the Japanese characters, after the results of the answers.
really easy for tourist,well the vocabulary still not enough for proper conversation but people can still use this for beginner usage.The twisted tongue really are hard to understand without proper way of differenting it word.So keep the good app running.thumb up.

This app is amazing for learning japanese! It have everything u need! Even voice! And it offline! If u havent u shld check it out but the ads are annoying other then that it perfect
It's free, it's offline, it's helpful. What else are u looking for? This is basic though. so some expressions may be a little too formal than conversational.
I really like this app i like how it gives you the word in Japanese and shows you how to pronounce the word as well and it does have ads but for me it only pops up if i go from one lesson to the other so it doesnt interfere with you concentrating on the lesson your currently on
Honest straight up anyone can do this fr its an excellent app anyone cast shade on it is mad the cant speak it...on another note not sure what the point in being american beautiful culture and language and I hate pay walls you can be a million are charge $1.00 add more games, timed answers allow for translation of users choice (as in what they type keep it simple in design so as to not over run and freeze keep add free ppl will delete apps for less but great job maybe its a bug but the first setting says in writing and speaks english didnt understand...why? But im keeping this app I'm sure anyone that watches anime or possibly travels a lot wouldn't mind payin the ($1.00) think small million ppl buy for fair price you make millionare status for being a decent person my kids also love this my daughter is 10 and speaks with it like she was born and raised
Amazing this app was amazing it taught me how to speak Japanese so fast I can't even right now it is amazing if you don't like this app I don't know what to say so yeah this is the best Japanese have I've ever found congrats to the person who made this a probably went through a lot especially since it's too well from Japanese it's really hard are they have radioactive fish and stuff but it's amazing someone put this together so well there's no inappropriate ads there's no ads whatsoever and it teaches you really well I hope you guys enjoy this app bye

Extremely useful and easy to use. Well organized so that the reader can find what they would like to learn first. My favorite part of this learning app is that I'm able to save my words/phrases in "favorites". It's easy to find when I want to jump from word to phrase to creat a sentences quicker.
