This app is absolutely amazing! back when i was first learning japanese this app along with your katakana one basically taught me all i know about kana and some vocabulary! thank you guys so much for this app❤
Looks like fun, but I uninstalled after I heard ふ (fu) being clearly pronounced as ひ (hi). There might be other mistranslations, I didn't use it long enough to find out.
It it is helpful for me and now I can speak and write hiragana clearly can you make that for katakana and Kanji too
Great for beginers, but i need to learn sentens structure. Recomend fir very beginers.

This app let me effectively learn Hiragana, and some basic vocubulary in a short period of time with just 5-10 minutes a day. My four year old also loves the app. There are some syllabls you wouldn't pronounce in some words, but I am assuming this app could also be used by Japanese children to learn to write basic words they already know how to say.
love the concept but so many pronunciation errors proved the developers don't really know Japanese or do they really care to check. Majorly disappointed.
It like a program for kids just learning there alphabet, hiragana, so it starts of simple and slow for a beginner like me. It is very effective.
I'm actually learning things at level two. I might stick to that one for a week then move to the next one.

Educational and and fun for kids just learning hiragana
I memorized the hiragana very quickly, and it's so かわいい! Though I do believe there should be a segment to memorize the ば,ぴ,ぞ,etc characters. Other than that, very easy to use. ^u^
I love it. I can play karuta now, hehe. It's a cute and a great game for everyone. ♡
only down sode is when u dubble tap by mastake it opens the web browser mite be my tablet tho
It starts with a matching game. Then leads into a memory card game. Then goes into showing you images of items or animals and having you try to guess what it is using the previously shown symbols. It may just be me, but I was completely lost. It drops you in the water without any explanation of what the symbols mean or in what way they're used, and then expects you to use them to guess various nouns. And this is only level one. I was, again, completely lost.
Learning without english words shown is actually better for memorizing Japanese. It forces you to rely on reading the hiragana. There are hints you can turn on/off too. I think they should say the hiragana out load during the matching game though.
The problem with this app is after the matching game. You are shown a picture and have to figure out what it is in Japanese. Very confusing.
I like how it has the pictures and how they sound it out for you, but the card game is annoying.
I'm just starting to learn hiragana and I started with romaji to help familairize myself with the symbols and sounds. This apps helps reinforce what I already know, but in the proper way. Besides it's cute. Matching game with pronunciation would be nice :)

I am trying to learn Japanese, so this "game" does help me. Pictures of things, animals and such, the audio as you select characters is awesome too.

It's such a pretty app I hate to give it a low score, but there is nothing to this. All you do is match hiragana to hiragana. As in A for A, KA for KA, etc. I'm not sure how it's suppose to teach anything when it just throws you into it and you are doing nothing but match kana symbol for kana symbol, not the sound or the romaji or whatever. The only reason it does not get a 1 star is because as I said it's pretty to look at and has up beat cute music. Almost insulting like Teletubbies. ^^!
