Learn Japanese: Lesson, News, Videos

There is a section called Tavel Japan which has short videos of basic phrases and words you will need to say while traveling in Japan. It was super helpful and I loved how they received each one! They only have maybe 6 videos though, so I'd suggest putting up more. There's also a section with a written dialogue between two people in many situations which I though was helpful at first, but then the situation became very random and not relevant to what I was wanting to learn. But still a good app!

First of all, for clarification, the startup menu is to choose your own language. not the language you want to study. But as for the app, it basically feels like if you made a textbook into an app. The information needed is all there, but it's not very interactive. A lot of reading and memorizing. I think if that's what you are looking for this is perfect. But of you're looking for something that quizzes you on your answers or anything like that then you should go with another app.

Thank you for providing a wonderful app to help with a person's learning of the Japanese language. This app has useful dialogue, various media options to learn & practice listening, reading, and speaking. The interface was user friendly, and the pacing of the lessons, specifically the dialogue, was easy to follow. Reading material with a focus on Japanese culture and current events is also a neat feature!

Possiblity the best and the must comprehensive app to learn Japanese. Lits and lots of material, only thing left to include would be anime episodes. One issue not really tho, too many ads. Also it doesn't seem like premium membership is really worth it. I mean its just ads, maybe something extra would lead me towards that option for now I'll stick to the basic app.

I don't know what is the limitation of the free version, but even to pay £4 for this is nothing. There is a lot of material and there are news feeds with transcript 日本語で。Really good application and despite people don't really use that sort of Japanese in everyday life, meaning the textbook Japanese, still you need to start somewhere and learn the textbook keigo. In most cases you can skip the subject, the context of the conversation speaks for itself.

I just gone through one lesson and saw some additional info, but I can already say it's my favorite Japanese learning app! It has audio lessons in several languages, 10 minutes lesson is packed with new words, how to use them, and the voices are so great! Thank you for this wonderful app! If it was a paid app, I think I would pay for it! Edit: i found the premium feature and paid for it, deserved!

I think that the app doesn't have a friendly use with the user, it's difficult to take the lessons and know the vocabulary, even more if the vocabulary is not translated to your language, there's a lot of adds in the app. Also I think that the phases should be translated.

Honestly, this app is wonderful. I didn't have any problem with the start up screen, though that was because of reading the previous reviews. The lessons are clear and I love the fact you can learn to write as well as speak. It has a bunch of resources and the way you learn works perfectly for me, though everyone has different ways they learn.

Inappropriate and invasive advertisements. I only did one lesson. The advertisements were super inappropriate and sexually explicit. The content of the app might be great, but it's not worth it to have to watch inappropriate advertisements every few minutes. The ads take longer than the lessons. Totally ruined it for me.

the content is really good & easy. It has 4 segments in each lesson. 1. Conversation 2. Teacher's teaching 3. Sound words (like expressing sounds of instruments, birds, animals) 4. Japanese Culture I would be better if the lesson can be paused with ear phones itself. Earphones button generally acts as a play/pause button of audio player. But, these audio lessons can't be paused by headset. Also, the audio lesson continues, even when we get a phone call. It should pause when there's a phone call

1) It's just a copy of nhk.or.jp site with no added feature. But with ADs! You can use the website without ads. 2) The UI is broken. The "material" tab doesn't show anything, but when you tap in the empty space, it loads a dialog! Obviously, there's something there but it cannot be shown.

Amazing app, really helpful courses and cute drawings. Only 4 stars because there are so many ads, but since the app is for free (which is very nice, btw! Normally you have to pay for learning a language) I guess that's where they have to get their money from, which I totally understand. ありがとうございます！

Very very good app , material is good and so is format of learning . Though it keeps having connection problems when internet is just fine along with occasional blocks, i think it's using webviews, those tend to be on the slow side ? overall pretty good , thank you .

I love this app very much! I like the audio lessons, and I also like listening to the audio scripts! It's a big help for us who want to learn how to speak Japanese. I love the graphics as well, so anime-like! Keep up the good work, developers! Highly recommended app! One of the best in Play Store!😊🙆

It's a smooth running app, Kind of. Except the listening feature doesnt work, and the first lesson is inaccurate. Everything else I am using to learn Japanese says that Hajimemashite is Nice to Meet You. and Yoroshikuonegaishimasu is please take care of me, or please treat me well. (I learned this from other apps and watching multiple Japanese TV shows.)

It's a great option to learn Japanese. I'm an Indian and never knew the basics but was extremely fascinated by Japanese and this app helped me loadsin order to learn. Suggestions: •video lectures should be available for better learning. •The quiz section should have an option to play with friends which would develope great interests among the people.

I would like to give it four stars because its whole experience is good but it should have a feature that will correct my pronunciation and anything else but overall nice app . I like the way you are teaching japanese with a story and in between the explanation you are including grammar and vocabulary too.😃😃😄

This is a good program and i love it , but if it had an English translation for the news section and the tutorials were accompanied by animation and extra words , this program would be a great program for teaching japanese . Thank you for your efforts . 😍😍🙏🙏 Please make it for other languages as well .

This is a great app that explains things easily. Perfect to combine with other apps to do exercises on the lessons and it has very useful resources and tools for learning. I am learning a lot and quickly!

I don't appreciate the insane amount of pop-up ads. It basically pops up everytime I press something. Otherwise, it's pretty good even though I got confused at first because of the layout.

So far amazing! hopefully there is no pay way at some point. I do want to let anyone know thinking about downloading this app, these conversations are great with conjunction to my Japanese course, but be wary that it may not be a supplement for an actual instructor. Hopefully my review helps.

This app is amazing! You can learn so many things like numbers and the days of the week. You also get to do lessons where you can learn phrases for conversations. You can also learn the kanji for all the words. Great app.Loving it ^^

It greatly serves its purpose and is the Best app for beginners. The Only thing i feel should be there in addition to conversations is different sentences with their different forms like in grammar books.

If you really want to learn japanese, this is the best app. I love it. I wanted to learn japanese from a very long time and got this app. Very very helpful and the most recommended app ever. You can learn japanese even if you don't know a word in it. I love that feature to change the language, I am well satisfied with this app.

App is so simple and discribes everything about japanese. This is the most useful app ı have ever used. I am learning japanese with myself and it is hard to understand without this app. It is telling the most common, useful sentences and words. Easy japanese is not just a language app. It is also so funny!! I am in love with that, thank you so much to explain me japanese that perfectly. I am suggesting all the japanese learners to download this app before start. But ı want to learn it in Turkish.

i remember using this app and its great because there's a video in every lessons like when the student transferred in japan, but now there's no video, just an audio, it's boring but you can still learn from it.

The course is super cute! They don't only teach you helpful phrases, you also learn about the culture! This is an awesome starting place for learning the language.

I didnt expected, there's gonna be so much to learn more units listenings vocabulary etc.. There's more things than in other apps and i appreciate it. It's amazing!! 5/5 the best app for japanese i've ever found. 100% recomended.

Great app. Just wish all the material for the lesson like the teach us teacher part and sound word part was grouped in the lesson segement itself. It is annoying to quit the lesson and go to another tab to get the details on those segments of the lesson.
