The “Learn Japanese” app has many useful Japanese phrases and words (e.g., “Thank you!”, “How much?” or “A table for two, please!”). When you tap a phrase, the app speaks it aloud. There is no guessing as to how to pronounce the words. And if the app is talking too quickly for you, simply tap the snail icon to hear the words more slowly. And if the app is talking too quickly for you, simply tap the turtle icon to hear it more slowly. Listen to pronunciation recorded by native Japanese speaker and then record and play back your own voice to practice your Japanese speaking skills!
When traveling to Japan (e.g., Tokyo or Osaka), make sure you bring the app with you! Ideally, you listen to a phrase and repeat it, but if your accent is terrible, you can play the voice on the app to local Japanese people (e.g., a waiter or store clerk). Language barrier while traveling abroad will no longer exist!

Great app. Especially with the voice pronunciation. However, if you are using the app for a long period of time, the voice pronunciation stops working. Please, kindly fix this and then, your app would be the best.
With this app I was able to quickly learn some everyday Japanese words and phrases that proved very useful during my recent trip to Japan. Well laid out and easy to use, advertising is mostly not too annoying.
This is a very good app,I don't have a problem with it.Except for the letters,I don't understand them,I thought you can try and learn how to write it but I can't,It only gives how to say/pronounce it.Can you atleast make us write the letters,Especially for people who are from another country who went to Japan but also has to go to school.They also need to learn Japanese language and other things,If they choose this app to learn Japanese,I don't think they would learn how to write. Pls help. 😢
This app is very good for beginners . However just to mention. INDIA is not mentioned in the countries section. So request you to mention our country who has similar culture with your country and we are eager to learn your languge. Thanks.
I really like this app, and I'm still using this app. It has helped me a lot in learning the basics but the reason I gave only 4 star is becoz some words are not translated in English which makes it difficult for me to understand the meaning of it. And I wish and hope that this app will become more fun , interesting and challenging in future so that I can rate 5🌟🌟.
those, (by my ear), sound Japanese. It's not a bad exercise. i haven't been through the whole thing, but what I do hear is good. I hate! the ads they are in the way and nonessential! that's why I held the fifth star off.
I am happy to see this app. I worked for a Japanese based company and learned a lot of the basic language... I haven't had the opportunity to refresh my language skills for almost 9 years! Brought back a lot of memories!
Super nice app it helps me so much but the thing that let me put just 4 stars that I noticed that some people in Japan talked a little different like" ohayo gozaymas" means good morning but they just say "ohayo" but no problem because japanese people will understand what I am talking just I want to say that this app will help you so much you have to try it!!!!!! 👍
It's a great app for those who are learning japanese language like me. Im just a lil bit confused regarding the sentence with "I" because the only voice is for ladies which is the "watashi". I hope there is a voice option for us men too.
The app is good., but, the audio is not working well. It speak only 5 times, thn, it stopped. No more sound. Pls fix the audio. Thnx.
It's very useful and so easy to use the app, because it does not require any login/sign in..thanks for the developer. I highly recommend this app for those who is interested to learn basic Japanese.
Very good app, Most effective for beginners. Now I can understand much better when I watch anime in Sub without reading subtitles.

This app is okay.When I try to press the play button to hear it,it either doesn't make a sound or it just doesn't work.This will be a problem in the long run.Please fix it!

i like it but pls have the quiz on romaji not on hiragana/katakana/kanji. its so hard for us who we're just learning to speak. we couldn't read japanese yet so pls have the romaji quiz it'll help us with learning japanese accent & grammar

I opened it and read the message and got offended cos gurll it was a message to the "Sirs" only..We ladies need the message too so I'd appreciate it if that can be edited and add Madam to it.Not like a serious offence or anything tho, just to improve that for a better app. :)

Its a great app. You can learn, memorize and they also have pictures and quizzes! I learned many japanese words because of this app and I can almost understand animē episodes without looking at the subtitles! Love this app, but i'd suggest that they will add more features and more words on this app as soon as possible. ;)
