Loving it so far! The design seems pretty optimal from a learning standpoint. The only improvement I could think of is if the game got you to construct the word cards yourself.
Not bad at all, although it did ask me to rate it after the first "game", I say "game" because it's really just a speed answer quiz made to look like a game, although you do get materials after each practice which by the looks of it are really only used to create a new outfit for your character (Yami) but whether or not these outfits have any specific significance other than making her look different is yet to be seen since I only opened the app 10 minutes ago 😂 Will update my review in time.
While this is a good app, there's a bit of a big in my opinion. Oya should mean parent in the singular form, and ryoushin should only mean parents in the plural. Because when parent(s) comes up, it can mean either one if both symbols are there to choose from. In other words, I think both definitions need to be worded better. Trust me, I checked.
Too difficult for a complete beginner. Also, wish there was an option to play without learning how to read and write. I just wanted a game to improve my vocabulary so I could understand Japanese in a conversational setting. Even though I knew the word and it's meaning, I was still losing because I didn't know how to write the word.
This app is great for learning japanese. It would more fun if running rate is more slow. Just add for thinking time, pls. 🤗
Great for learning JLPT vocabulary. There's a few spelling mistakes but I still enjoy learning.

Have to take 20 steps to start
Great for reviewing vocab, I'm N3 and using the app to shore up my N4 vocab and reading speed with the kanji all together. Not quite a game, this is a timed vocab quiz app dressed up as a game, and when you complete a vocab set, you get items that could purchase you a new outfit for Yami. You choose which JLPT level to start with 5 - 1, which a good feature. One problem, I would say the optional 'boss' levels take so long to complete I get bored before finishing them.
