I would give 5 stars, except, once I switched from iPhone to android, there was no longer an option to do lessons where my speaking was analyzed as saying a word or phrase correctly or not. This feature was extremely helpful in retaining memory of sentences and words, but on Android I don't have it. So sad.
Colors in the kid lessons could use some work (the 2 syllable ways of saying them are key). Besides that though I reaaaaaaly enjoy the randomized reviews and the variations in the sentences you get on the daily lessons. Very solid app. Would suggest.
It's Okay. For me the pictures are disruptive and I have trouble actually learning because of them. I know the answers because of the picture but have absolutely no idea what the answer actually is. And when there are no pictures it is too hard. I know basic Hangul and can only guess based on what letter the word begins with. Not for me, sorry.
.After downloading many apps I found This app. This app is very good for Begginers. But I'm an intermediate but according to me, rather you are a begginer Or an Intermediate this app will helps you to improve your korean. Like for buying premium access of this app is not as much as important because this app provide you all the stuff of korean like pronouns, conjuctions, numbers, verbs etc. according to other apps this is one of my favourite. Thanks mondly korean team for helping us. 😊🥰
Pretty good app that combines visual and aural learning styles well. Would rate higher, but there are a few glitches and areas for improvement. The screen flickers a lot, the audio sometimes cuts out and the microphone isn't very reliable (these are NOT issues with my phone). It would also be nice to hear a word more than once when being tested, and to replace the binary tests with something with more possible answers as 50/50 is just too easy.
Super fun and easy to follow along! I would learn how to read Hangul (Korean) before though, it makes the process easier to understand🤙🏼 It is a bit difficult at first to figure out how to work it because it goes fast and straight into sentences and it can be confusing. Just start pressing buttons though and learn what it's doing, click underlined sentences for words you don't know, search for conjunctions. ANYWAY, it starts to make SO much more sense after a while & you learn so fast! 감사합니다!
It's good for beginners and interesting. It is effective in helping the user remember words and characters. There is an option to switch between roman and korean alphabet all throughout the lessons including the recap at the end of each lesson. This is all useful, however, I find the app subscription expensive
YES!!!!! If u want to learn a language this is not the best it's the PERFECT way to understand what you seeing , learnings and reading best app 10/10
I love Mondly, it's such a great app. I learn 5 lunguages and it's so unexpectedly easy. It even gives daily lessons which are good for also the non-subscribers. Thanks Mondly
I am really grateful for this app! it is really great for a beginner like me who wants to learn Korean..if you download this app im sure it will really helps you to learn..so what are you waiting for Download the App and Learn now!
Loving the app learning alot just in the 1st lesson and so happy I can pick up the pronouncements just fine and having a audio playback is awesome in both English and Korean Translation is amazing!
Guys it's very interesting app to learn a languageyou can download it and learn your favourite language please install it and support them they are very interesting and they have made a very interesting app thank you Google store and thank you to the person also who has made this app ghamsaihbida
Free version has lots of ads. Slightly higher than beginner learning for beginner selection. Some background in the language helps but you can manage without any knowledge. Better than most apps I've tried. I like that it has chatbots and is more advanced than others. I wish there was more in the chatbots. Purchased once I decided I liked it.
This app is really cool and entertaining. thumbs up for the producers
Try this app guys..this is really helpful and fun😊 but I recommend you to learn Korean alphabets before using this app. You can learn them in 90 minutes.
I really like the app! I will say that the best way to use this app and get the most out of it is to learn how to read and write Hangul(한굴) first and start that way. We all sang our ABC's before learning words and sentences! There are a lot of apps and sites that can help you learn not just the alphabet but the pronunciation as well. This app also helps me get faster at reading and writing(really texting) in 한굴 as well through its ability to switch between english and 한굴. 감사합니다!
Not for complete beginners as I would suggest using another app to get understanding of Korean grammar and sentence structure before using this app, as this doesn't really put an emphasis on that. Otherwise if you have an understanding of those, then this is super useful for common phrases and vocabulary for all sorts of situations.
I'm on day 2 and so far it's great. I'm learning from scratch, so it would be nice if there was an option to slow down phrases and words to better pronounciation. Also, the app crashes whenever I try to use the microphone, please fix this!
I Love it its teach me well.I hope i will learn from this app.I just wanted more learn about korean lang. Thanks for this app.Its so awesome.I am in grade 9th and it will be awesome for me to learn other lang.
Absolutely amazing app! I bought the premium version, which is at a very good price for its quality, and I am amazed how much this app has held me to learn Korean! It covers many categories from small talk, to appointments and teaches you them in simple fun ways. Highly recommend this app to anyone that wants to learn a new language. 감사합니다! 💕
even if the learning technics are good, i find this app quite incomplete. for example, there isn't the 'alphabet part' when you learn a complete different language, or some rewies once you completed the lesson. That's why, for me, this app could be improved
Seems like a good system for learning. I kind of would like the hangul alphabet to be used for the answers and promts, so it would be easier to pair with other learning apps. But otherwise the repetion and speed of each section is very nice.
Update:After using this app for 2 days I unfortunately had to change my rating. There is lots of issues with this app. You want people to read and understand Korean and select words without its meaning. Second the language is really confusing. The prefix 솝니다 is not even used in everyday conversations (even polite). This is very very formal and not needed for daily communication. This can make begginers confused. Third:no verb conjunctions. Please include this together with prefix 요.
I love the layout and design however I've been having some lagging problems and glitches. Otherwise great app to learn how to speak Korean! I appreciate the fact you can also read the words romanized. Makes things MUCH easier imo.
Mondly is incredible. I'm learning Korean so fast here compared to other apps which left me confused and barely progressing. I learned Farsi from Mondly too. The way it is structured helps your brain assimilate the new language extremely fast. The best Language Learning App Hands Down! My Favorite!
It is currently the Day 3 of my using this app, and honestly it's pretty helpful. I'm not using the premium version at the moment, but it's affordable, so that makes me happy. If you have never studied any korean (like me), I recommend you to keep Mondly's article on Korean alphabets open in a separate tab as you use this app. Using the two together will help you understand the language.
It's a great app. I've made a lot of progress with this. Apart from the occasional glitches, it's very useful. It would better if they put more similar words in the daily lessons. For instance, putting shower and bathroom in the same lesson, isntead of putting shower in a lesson with stable. Also, there was a lesson with 1, 3, and 4. Why not put 2 in there as well? Just saying.
