Learn Languages with Music

Really love this app. But there is a problem, I don't want to rewrite or rechoose some part of one lyric again and again it's too annoying. There is a repeating verse in every song I hope that if one time I choose it right, then for the next verse I don't have to choose it again. Please add Arabian language too, so we can learn arabian language.

great app for learning a new language with music. Though I wish there was a better search function or list of artists.

sometimes the app just lags for a few seconds in the middle of songs. also some of the lyrics that I added are pending review for 4 years now. they're not even declined or anything

I love this app, but the latest update changed the font on choice mode. Now the words do no distinguish i and I.

Great idea but this app needs an update. I am unable to view videos on the app, they appear scrambled once they begin playing after about 30 seconds or so (no problem watching them on YouTube). There is obviously some type of bug that needs fixing. I notified the developer months ago, but as of yet there has been no update... the last one appears to have been November 2020. If and when it gets fixed I will purchase.

I'm loving! The typing idea is very cool, there are some errors with it, but I'm having fun!

A enjoyable way to practice listening and favorable to acquire vocabulary.

There was no tutorial at the beginning and that would be helpful. Also doesn't tell you what the words mean, only has you identify individual words in songs. Would be helpful if it had direct translation along with the lyrics, like exactly as it is, not like subtitles. Word for word translations under the karaoke-style lyrics. I guess it's good to supplement your language learning but won't teach you much.

Personally, I think this app doesn't help you to learn the language literally. While you do see the lyrics of a song, you have no idea what it means, no translation is provided for the lyrics. On the other hand, it does train your listening and pronunciation skills, but that's not what I installed the app for. Great concept, but still missing a lot of features. Edit: Thanks for the reply. I know long press the word can translate, but that's just too inconvenient. Translations should be available for every sentence altogether. Translation for each word doesn't help learning the grammar at all.

I like the idea, but it at the time I'm reviewing has a completely broken translation feature. so it's listening to music in other language with no easy way to know what's being said. Edit(8/25) I've been told the translation feature is only broken for select languages so experiences may vary. I tested it with some Spanish vocab, and despite it not being the language I wanted to learn, it worked fine. So for most advertised languages it's probably pretty good.

I love this app and use it daily 😍 It has a decent selection of available music and the UI is easy to use and intuitive. But it's features are limited. My main problem is that I cannot add new words to my vocabulary list and I cannot review vocabulary (by their definitions). I use this app to learn new words, but without vocab flashcards, I cannot do that. Also, the music selection can be expended significantly.

It's a good app. I installed it to have music recommendations in other languages but not much on the learning. I don't look forward to subscribing to the app. It doesn't really make much value ^^" I wish that you could also click on the words of the lyrics and have the meaning or explanation for it. That'll make me want to subscribe fast.

The app is really interesting. Unfortunately, I paid to use the premium version, but all songs keep crashing in the middle of the songs which is really annoying and compromise my overall performance. I keep restarting the songs and rarely finish them as app keep freezing. Please fix this asap otherwise it will not be worth it keeping the membership.

Good fun and fairly addictive. Helping with my listening skills. Although there is a more than reasonable selection of songs, I would give it more stars if there were more songs. I have also changed my review from 3 to 4 stars as I am impressed with the customer support. - Further Edit: Absolutely excellent customer care, the songs I requested have been added, including a rather tricky one. 5 stars!

Fun app to use. I like the design and feel of it. Useful for improving your listening skills. I find the web site version even better because it allowed you to guess the word without multiple choice, making you need to really hone your listening skills to get the answer. Would love to have the option to translate a word and then have it placed into a srs flashcard tester... Another thing I would like is a toggle to condense all gaps between lyrics to a set time, so I waste less time practising.

This is a really, really fun app. The multiple choice game is surprisingly challenging and a great way to test listening comprehension. And of course the ability to translate words is great for building vocabulary. All sorts of genres of music available and you can even add your own songs on the website, too. Superb layout. Highly recommend!

I love using this app to improve my English, and the free version allows everyone to practice many languages while having fun. I really recommend it! It's simple to play it, there are game options for you to take what best fits your mood (karaoke, word choice, typing, etc.) and there's a website available for laptop playing too. I rather the app version, tho, because it's pretty responsive and it saves my data. Great job, Lyrics Training team! :)

Concept is decent, most of the time lyrics are easy to understand. But there were no instructions on how to play at first, and it says you get to play 3 times but only lets me do one round. Not sure if it's worth it or I should just teach myself songs in Spanish. I have already been doing this. Not sure how helpful one round of lyrics I barely know is for my language skills. There is a decent selection of music although I only knew "La Bamba" in Spanish and it would be nice if it had Martika.

Nice app, it's a lot of fun to learn with it and it even motivates me to learn more vocabulary and grammer to understand the songs. But premium is quite expensive and only as abo not as permant buy. I am also missing Danish and Esperanto songs, better performance optimisation and a feature to easily compare with friends (not that challenge) would be nice.

I am really enjoying this app because i love listening to music and i love learning spanish. It helps me to learn spanish songs and artists so i can feel more in touch with the culture all the while building my vocabulary and trying (but failing) to sing along. I would like to suggest you consider adding norwegian so i can add this as a way to practice ny norwegian. Anyone trying to learn a language that this app provides who also enjoys listening to music should try this app.

This is a good app, but I hate the "lives" system for play songs. Is an old cliffhanger technique and doesn't work in this time, there are a better ways to make premium advantages. Also the white colored letters do not go with the singer and it's very confusing for beginners.

it could be okay for other languages but korean and Japanese don't use Roman letters so kinda pointless for those languages until they add the appropriate alphabets. it's a fun concept cause you have to pick out what you're hearing. so it'd be great for improving you're reading and listening skills, if it used the appropriate characters. as it stands, it seems pointless for now....
