Learn Manx - Ynsee Gaelg
The App will benefit anyone wishing to start using Manx as well as those who understand some of the language but who would like to refresh their language skills. With its voice-recording and playback function, the exercises encourage you to speak the language by answering questions orally and comparing your answers to model responses.
The revision lessons that accompany the course use the Isle of Man TT Races as a key theme and help to develop language skills in an enjoyable and humorous way.
This App is based on the Culture Vannin's successful adult language course, Saase-jeeragh.

This app used to be beautifully designed years ago. On my Google Pixel 2, I can't even use the new version of this app. Whenever I click on a lesson in the list, the app is non-responsive. So I can't even do a lesson. I really hope I will be able to use this app again sometime in the future as there as very few resources for even learning this language.
I had an issue where an update made the app unusable on Android 10. The navigation controls at the bottom conflicted with the operating system's own controls. The developer got straight onto the problem, and rolled out a fix in a day. Feer vie! Gura mie ayd.
I don't think I've ever seen a language learning app quite as thorough as this one. Still working on the learning but it's great!
This is a great language learning app much better than other endangered language apps it is great keeping the Manx language alive

Excellent app, I knew absolutely no Manx at all when I started and this has been invaluable. It is also useful in that it has words and phrases you are likely to use a lot so is easy to practice with a partner. The only down side I found was that it doesn't teach you the polite 'you' version nor 'we' nor 'us', but apart from that, I cannot find fault with it. The dictionary is handy and the flash cards are very good for quick revision and testing.
A great place to start learning Manx, & also good to compliment conventional lessons. A nice feature is that it allows learning through spoken & written forms, with plenty of easy-to-manage excercises & means of bookmarking etc. The lessons are laid out in an interesting manner as well, ensuring that it isn't just More Of The Same for language learners. - Good fun!

A fantastic resource with easy, clean and simple layout. Presented in a very user friendly fashion which makes you want to explore more. Well done on a great job in getting this unique language out to the masses, taking out of the classroom and into the future. Already waiting for the update of more units!
Brilliant App so far. Looking through the dictionary, I feel the vocabulary could be increased? But I presume there just isnt Gaelg words for some of our modern terms? I quite enjoy using the cards function, find the repetition very helpful- as I was never very good at French at school. More exercises like this would be appreciated. Also. It seems I'm limited to how many cards I can test a day. (comes up 'no card's) which is a shame. But yeh, good job so far. Thanks for making it free. :)
Audio and visual word recognition combine well with a complex flash-card system in this app'. There is nothing to improve here. Enough words and phrases to deal with for a while. This is an EXCELLENT learning tool. Please, please bring out further app's with extended vocabulary. This application WILL convert people to speak Manx. More power to your elbow - as we English say (Anyone know the Manx for that?)
I have been looking for an app like this for years. This will now give me the chance to realise and lifelong ambition. Thanks again.

Clear and with some great features.
For free really?! Great app
App is clear and easy to navigate. An issue im having is that while reading the Manx words and (attempting) to pronounce them the progress bar covers the words once you reach half way. I am experiencing this problem on an s9+
