not compatible with newer android system. sound like great app. but cant use. will you be updating the compatibility?
It's really unfortunate that they haven't done an update since 2014. Let me know when the update is going to be finished or if you're planning on to update the app so I can get a different app
Need to be able to pronounce the words. It also need audio. I would pay for it.

Needs an update
This app helps build a great foundation to learning, knowing and understanding meducal terminology. It breaks down the terminology so you can understand it better. If you understand what prefixes, root, and suffixes are then you can put it together yourself and know what the terminology means. It helps you know why the term "hypoglycemia" means "excessive sugar in the blood". By breaking down each part. If you understand each part, you can know terminology you haven't even heard of before. Great app!
This application is EXACTLY what I was looking for. People on here complaining about this app not giving definitions is ridiculous, this app gives you a deeper understanding of medical terminology and allows you to determine definitions for medical terms without having to look up the definition. If you wanted an app to simply define a full medical term as opposed to breaking it down into detail, perhaps you should have gotten one aptly titled to your intentions; a medical dictionary...
Many medical terminology apps I tried out has confusing and elaborate layouts for no reason. This was simple and got the job done. Don't need all that other crap. Also impressed with how little I get bombarded with ads for a free app.
It is an App that forwards you to a website which has broken links. Nothing to help for studying. Also trying to get you to buy another app
I'm currently taking medical terminology for the MA program at my local school, and it's helping me out a whole lot.
It gives prefixes suffixes and root words, but not really the true meaning nothing in the means of helping to study for a test. No real definition or examples. Needs more improvements.
Prefixes, roots, suffixes. With these you can decipher any medical terms. Great free app. Sony Xperia SP.
Just wish it would give far more examples than just one because some are similar, it'd be good to get a better idea of each terminology
You can only look up prefixes, roots and suffixes. So you can't put any of them together to learn whole words and meanings. It's really kinda useless without that feature, that's what I'd really call being fully functional

To address one reviewer's concerns (and she could've noted what OS she's using), I just used it on my Android 11 tablet, and it works. Perhaps there's concern about a lack of update, but terminology doesn't really change from year to year... functionality may be a concern, but it's doing what it claims to do, so for now, I'll give 4 stars.
