Very good app to test note reading ability. The only drawback is its MIDI does not work

If there is a desire to learn to read music notes fast, but you are on the train or waiting for an appointment - set up the difficulty you like and start to tap. And I would sudgest not to use keys, but the letters, because they are still formed as the keys. Also someone may complain, that you have only one octave to displayed. But for that it makes more sence to practice on a real keyboard. This is a perfect compact solution to learn an automated and intuitive note recognition.

I'm a new piano player, and never learned how to read music. I started with books, but quickly realized I needed some flash card style learning. This stripped down app is totally free and has no huge ads, and I'm super thankful for that. Hooking this up to the keyboard has made it much easier to get through some of these very first steps of reading and understanding the books I have. I only wish it had a dark mode so I could do a little more late night playing, it eases my insomnia.

Simple notes learning program that has everything I need, and no ads or subscription nags. Thank you for making this available. I do have one suggestion for improvement, that is to keep the screen on while entering notes on midi kb. Now I just manually set the screen to stay on, so it does work regardless.

Awesome app! I only wish there were more analytics. I'd like to see a complete breakdown of my completion times, etc, but it's all in graph form. Still, this is an extremely helpful tool for beginners like myself who wish to ramp up our sight-reading skill acquisition.

I really like the app. It's free, no ads, and simple. It's perfect for this kind of purpose. Wanted to give 5 stars but turning on the sound is a bit disappointing tho. It's delayed but idk if it's my phone. I have a powerful phone with 128gb rom 8gb ram and SD845. I don't think i'm lagging because of hardware since I play high graphic games as well. Nonetheless, GREAT APP! Please fix the sound and i promise giving 5 stars ❤️

More of a tester than a teacher. That said, with the assistance of Youtube learning from the likes of Lypur (Andrew Furmanczyk), this is super ultra useful! I'm just past lesson 7, and having this test app is super valuable as it allows me to put what I've learned to use with instant feedback. I don't recommend this as a way to get the foundations of how to read sheet music, but it is fantastic at reinforcing learnings once you first get those fundamentals down. Also, props for no adds!

Very simple but works It works great if I could change something it would be to have more historical stats so you can see how much you've improved since the installation of the app, but that's just extra... it works as intend and in it's current state gets the job done just fine. Also no ads!

When you have midi connected the screen shuts down. Would be good if the screen keeps active and doesn't turn off. I needed to install a 3rd party to use Bluetooth midi device. Would be good to just mention that somewhere like: app supports Bluetooth midi decide, just install a controller. Something like that. Nevertheless good app for training

37 years ago, the last thing I needed was training on reading sheet music. But that was 37 years ago. Now that I finally have access to a piano and harpsichord again, this app has, in the short time since I installed it, proven to be fantastic. If I could give it 10 out of 5, I would. I saw some bad reviews saying this is just testing. I think of it like an educational game.

Nice app, could be improved by having a history of results, so you can see trends over say a month, and highest / lowest scores. Even without that, it is helping me learn my notes, but once I want to go outside of the low c - high c range I'll need to find another app

Good app to develop sight reading. The high score feature is fun! I have one suggestion: an additional feature of showing 2, 3, 4 or more notes and having to identify all at once.

Excellent ad free notes testing software. It's is the best I have come across to test your notes knowledge. The more you use it the faster you get at recognising notes. With NO ads what more can you ask for. Special thanks to the developer...

I'm just learning to connect the name of the notes with the notes themselves and reading them on the music sheets. This is a really nice app for beginners starting out like me. I like the simplicity and ease of use. Thank you so much for creating this application for us!

Timed drills actually help! I noticed a big difference when I sat down at my piano and attempted to play simplified songs! I'm going to keep using this! Excellent app I would definitely recommend it!!!

Nice simple app to learn the piano notes in a fun way. Much better than flash cards. Might be useful to have an option to display note letter when in piano mode.

I wanted to improve my sightreading and this app serves the purpose well. I like it that you can practice both with a virtual piano keyboard and with just labeled keys.

you should be familiar with notes to use this app. this is just to practice and improve the sight reading. no ads, simple light weight app. loved it. P.S: should have been more better if they atleast provide an option for hints/tutor.

Good free app. Weird bug on the S8 though. Midi refuses to work at all unless i load another midi app first, close it, then open this app. Very odd. But it works now

Awesome app! Just one thing, I would like there to be an option for the note letters to be randomised, Because I feel like I'm partly linking the position of the letters to the notes on the staff instead of the letter itself.

Love this app, after only a few hours, i can easily find most of the notes and it also teaches you where the diffrent keys are.. totally free app with no add, perfect for me.

Hangd up and won't recognize touch input on my 2010 Galaxy Tablet A The buttons darkens so I know I've touched it but the it freezes for five seconds. Other than not working it elegantly simple and requires no permissions..hurray!

I'm trying to learn bassoon, and I normally play the sax, and it was great for learning bass clef. you can change the settings to challenge yourself as well.

This is a great, simple tool to learn notes, like flash cards. The options are helpful to customize the content.

This app isn't very useful for learning a new clef. I'm a cellist, so I already know bass cleff, but trying to learn treble was hard on this app. This app is better for sight reading, not for learning notes. Definitely not for beinginner musicians who have no prior knowledge.

Why are you testing us, before teaching us? That is not how it works. No music teacher quizzes a brand new student what they don't already know. It is wasting our time. Teach us, before testing us. Why is this such a hard concept to understand? Some language apps try the same thing and I rate accordingly.

Excellent app. All the things i needed to be exact, it showed the scores and you can choose sharps/flats, troublr cleff or bass clef and so easy! 5 stars ✅💯

Need to display grand staff and both # and b at the same time. Then it would be perfect. Why would you only display 1 staff and help users by displaying the flat or sharp instead of both.
