Learn Russian with WordPic

Really good app. I like it because it has gender in Russian (not many apps have it) so it makes it special. I am only starting. Hope it has options to declensions in female neutral or plural too. If only vocabulary, it would help you mention when is irregular plural. Thanks

I love this app. It might seem repetetive at first but give it a chance and You'll soon see that there's a good reason for this. The way this is set out allows You to very quickly learn words and I'm sure that the further along I go the better this app will get. I've downloaded seven apps to help Me to learn Russian. Some paid and some free. This is, so far, the best...

I really like it so far. It's very easy to navigate and pretty straightforward. It was very easy to pick up considering I had no previous exposure to Russian. A downside is that eventually they only leaves one new possible answer choice which makes it obvious which one is the correct answer.

Хорошо, good app. I only give 4 stars because of obviousness of some choices. Female voice is pretty that repeats the word. And ability to remove the Romanized or phonetic letters is great for me because I learned to read Russian without it and it can confuse.

One huge flaw, is that, when the word first appears, and i select the correct answer without mistakes, then it does not let me see that word again. But its not hard to pick out the truly new picture from the list. It not that i know the meaning of the word, but i know the answer, because i just know, which picture ive not seen yet. When i go to pick out the word to fit the picture, i will struggle with most of them. So yeah, could be way better and way neater.

My wife is Belerusian and I have had such a hard time learning Russian. This app is better than any other way I have tried or used to learn Russian.

This is a very good app for people like me who are using other language software. This gives me a break from the software I'm using. It is an excellent supplement.

I like the additional internet based word to add variety. Great to learn or review words, good random selection with a native speaker voice overs.

The cards are not random, so you just see what card wasnt there before and thats the correct answe

Repetition of translated imag es not the only way of learning.

Good for pronunciation and vocabulary. Could do with having the two dots on the e as makes different sound, but might be limitations on displaying it. Very pleased to have found this app.

Nice app; only things I'd change : More repetition of words Divide words into groups that are accessible through a main menu so we can go back and review words on our own too Oh,and a Russian keyboard would be useful Otherwise a fantastic help; great images!!

Most following picture groups leave only one choice as the correct answer. More a memory test than a vocabulary test.

It won't have you conversing in Russian but it can build a solid foundation of nouns.

I've retained a lot from using this in the past so its good but word and noun options should be put in place so we can learn more quicker. Noun, days, cardinal number, the basics should be here too.

Just a bit of trouble with the pronounciation speed wishing it was even slower but works well and is captivating.

Juat started. So far i can tell the words are sticking with me better.

Quick way to learn and repetitive enough to remember

I didn't think I could learn any russian so quickly :) I've been trying to learn russian for a while but didn't have the consentration, but this is very good, would recomend deffinatly, keep up the good work

Does what it says. Repetitive word learning. Very easy, good for beginners.

It would be awesome if one could switch to show the romanized version not in the question, but in the answer only. Otherwise, great app! Korosho! ;)

Fun way of checking your vocab knowledge but could benefit from more levels
