Learn Spanish for Beginners

I like how it starts with the very basics (letters, numbers) and how it has the lessons grouped and organized. However there isn't a "settings" function that I can find, and no way to turn up the volume. The speaker is very hard to understand and is lisping some of the pronunciation. Maybe it's a regional thing? I'll keep it for now, switch to earbuds and see if it helps the volume issue, and use it in conjunction with another Spanish app.

I love how this is set up it starts with the very basics and it's thorough. I love the quizzes after each heading! However the person pronouncing things is hard to understand. I speak English and work in a Spanish speaking environment and when they say a word/words I know I can understand, but the person on this app I have a very hard time.

Great supplemental app. I started working in a department where most of my coworkers are native speakers, and wanted to learn as quickly as possible. I use duolingo as my primary app, which better suits my learning style, but I refer to this app quite often. I feel like there is some essential info here that has helped tremendously. Stand alone, I don't know that I could have the level of understanding I currently have through simply memorizing phrases. Still a solid 4 stars.

I love it. In this pandemic, we've learned how to use computers and smartphones to learn different things and most of those things are watered down. This app is not. It teaches letters, numbers, phrases, how to form sentences and it quizzes you after every lesson. If there's something I've learned and forgot, I can always go back and learn again. I think people should try it.

I have used many differqent apps, but this one has taught me moe than any of those apps combined and I have had it for two days. I like how when you go to basic it has different categories in basic so its not all jumbled tgether and you can make notes that makes sense instead of having to learn numbers, animals, letters, and greatings all at once. overall Its very,very organized and easy to learn with it.

The set-up wasn't very "user friendly". For example: You have "Categories" and for each category you have a series of words that you "play" to hear the pronunciation (you can keep repeating the word as many times as you want but it doesn't slow down the pronunciation). The category I chose first was "Colors" and the quizzes were maybe too easy. This was the first Spanish app I tried so I don't have much to compare it to but realized it's not practical enough for me to really truly learn.

The only Spanish teaching app that is amazing! It gives you so many lessons to work towards, gives you quizzes after each topic which helps with listening to the word in Spanish then you deciding what it translates to in English - or sometimes I turn the volume off and read the English word and try to translate to Spanish before revealing the answer. I'd definitely recommend this app over any other.

Great app for beginners. Very well built. The only concern that it has very little grammar explanations so you can't use it as a main source of learning, but again the app is a great help to start learning Spanish. I especially like quiz option, which helps to learn much faster. Also having the app working offline is a huge advantage. Well deserved five stars !!!

This would be an awesome app if it weren't for all the problems resulting from their ads. Once an ad pops up, you can't go back. I'm on nouns and can no longer access that part of the app because an ad covered the entire screen. I deleted the ad, but it will not allow me access to that part any longer, making the app totally useless.

I used to love this app but they recently updated it and it's awful. Used to you could tap on the sound icon when you wanted to hear how a word was pronounced but now every time you move on to a new word it is audibly pronounced whether you want to hear it or not. When you're trying to commit a certain word or phrase to memory this is very annoying.

I love the app, but i am sure these are not all the spanish words, but since im just learning, i just need the casual, or essential words to build up a sentence for the communication use properly, thank you so much for this! Please add more features, im not saying it lacks anything. What i mean is that you shall add more features to make the app more succesful, you have my full support. Again, thank you!

If you want to learn spanish offline and free then this app is made for you it have features like slide show, study with audio and Quiz,it really helped me a lot with my learning if you get disturbed by ads then bingo! it has less ad than other app I have used its really easy to you

This app is an excellent starting point for begginers. Would highly recommend for anyone who has absolutely no clue how to speak spanish. Although there is one change I would like to see, it should make you pronounce the letter and correct you when you say it incorrectly. Other then that this app is amazing.

The app is really helpful, easy to use, easy to learn, but at times the audio which pronounces the words does not work which than restricts you from using the app for the time being. I would really appreciate it if that little problem could be fixed.

Breaks down the language very well and I enjoy the self testing quizzes cause I'm able to practice my memory and speach with the language as im completing the quiz. Also I can always go back to either the practices and quizzes anytime I wish to continue sharpening my mind, tongue and fluency. I'm excited to learn and speak this language after so long of wishing to!

It's so helpful and you can go at your own pace and learn what you want to learn love the different categories. Also it pronounces the words for you and have quizzes you can take.

During the last few days I tried downloading several apps to learn spanish. Each one had a shortcoming in some way or was forcing you to pay to learn. This one is completely free and starts with the basics, which is necessary when you are a beginner at spanish. Very helpful app!

It's really good. You can learn a lot of stuff and it has a bunch of words,also there's not that many ads SO FAR (i just started) overall great app! Its a little bit hard to use for ME but i just started so i think it will get easier.

Its easy to use and I'm catching on quickly. My only negative remarks would be that sometimes the audio cuts out, and I need to reboot the app to get it going again, and the Spanish audio could be a little better articulated. Other than that I'm rather enjoying it.

This is a very nice app I love it! It makes it super easy to learn Spanish!! Best part the higher classes are even unlocked BEFORE you finish basics!! I love the is app five stars for sure!! One more thing the adds on here are very funny and only 3 seconds!

Learned most the numbers in less than an hour, but some pronunciations don't sound the way it's spelt at all, which makes it hard for someone learning the first time to understand. I think it's because they use the same women for all of the voice overs so she either has her own way of saying some things or she's exhausted but some words just don't sound right. Thankfully they have a slow down sound button ✅

this application isn't exactly what I had expected, and it requires more than an introductory level to make sense of the content. Plus the tests or quizzes giving a generic score of A+ doesn't really help a student understand what they may have done wrong. especially when there's no review. I did some reading test Spanish to English and scored 91% and got an A+, then did the same thing English to Spanish and my score was 100% and also an A+ result.

Some things in this app like numbers in are not actually there. Something about it being an ancient number system. That's why it unavailable to learn... BS! It has no audio to here the sounds of the pronunciation in order to learn better. This app is a lie. The colors and cosmetics are nice. But that's all it is

Very easy to use. Learning Spanish was made simple and easy. Lessons followed a simple plan which allowed for revision of previous learning.

This app is really good. I started learning spanish from a course on udemy, that was good and engaging but i soon got bored. This app is fun and its graphics are minimalistic which doesnt distract you from learning. I face issues with the audio but its pretty managable.

A very very Good app for people who wanna learn Spanish. I'm glad that I chose this one for my learning, also it's offline so no worries for internet connection. I don't have any issue with this app, yeah but I'll be happy to experience an elegant UI, it will be much better if UI is changed!!!

Excellent...as a beginner i've been able to learn alot especially with every aspect both theory and pronounciation i love the quizes as well and the fact that everything is being broken down from alphabets and their pronounciation right to vowels,parts of speech, conjugations in short there's more to discover if you download!!! I give it 5 stars...i recommend every one with a dream of learning spanish to download this app
