It's a self-study app so you don't have to follow annoying lessons. It provides simple examples for a wide variety of subjects that are easy to understand and which makes it quite easy to learn both vocabulary and grammar. It's not going to teach you the language by itself but it is very valuable reference material as you study tagalog.
This app is awesome and i understand and can speak Tagalog. However, the advertisements somehow ruins the theme. For instance, the background of the search bar turns white, and so did the selection. Can you please fix this bug.
( a computer scientist ) So far, so good, nothing wrong, the app functions correctly. I was trying to find the premium feature payment options. I will bump up my rating after 🤔 evaluating the premium features. So, my rating will be in limbo until that time comes. Where exactly is the pay feature anyways? I know it is free because of covid19, but still I'm a little skeptical.
I downloaded the app and the first thing I saw was: white text on a cream background above a "view" button that luckily was dark text. I clicked the view button to see where it would take me & it took me to another page full of white text on a cream background. Maybe this is just a new bug & maybe before this it was a great app, but for now I have no way of knowing because not being legible makes an app a 1 star app that it's not possible to use, so i uninstalled it right away after installing
I like the app , it is useful when I need to look up words and I use it as some sort of dictionary . With that being said I have encountered a annoying bug where if my phone is in dark mode the text would be white instead of black I hope in the future for a darkmode for the app as it is very useful for me and would be very appreciated . I'll give 4 stars
I have to say I had my doubts, but this combination of videos spoken and seen is a very good combination for most everybody's learning styles. The videos make it very easy to be able to break down the word and able to pronounce them after you've spent time reading them in the app. I've been wanting to learn Tagalog for years now but my wife doesn't know where to start and this app has made it easier for me to pick up the language.
It's one of the best learning apps I've ever downloaded, if not the best, it has quizzes, just the words, and all of it free 2021 because of the pandemic, if you've been thinking of learning a new language I highly recommend this app since it's completely free under 2021 and it's just really easy.
I don't use this app much, but it sure seems to have everything. I would like more interaction. It's alot of reading and can just get boring. So I don't stick to it and forget alot of it. But I guess for some people they enjoy that kind of thing... it does have very good explanations though and plenty of info.
I really like this app! It allows you to work systematically, and at your own pace. You are given tips about which lessons to learn first, and they are laid out in a very organized manner. There is audio as well, which is so helpful!
Haven't explored it much yet but already noted that the interface is designed to make you unwittingly click the ad box (raising the ad hits for this app) while trying to exit the app. No log out or exit button. You need to force your way out.
Well, I mean, it's good, you learn, I just wish it was a bit more interactive, because you just read words and get the definition and do a quiz whenever you want, I wish there was more.
The last choices in the quizzes can't be picked because the submit button covers it and there's no way to click it, please fix it, but the app is really good.
Excellent app, it relies on self-learning but it covers everything including slang. Would recommend.
I tried to look up simple words like Salamat and mabuti which are used in conversations in basic 1 or 2 and it couldn't find them. It made it seem like I needed to upgrade for too many things
Learning tagalog made easy. Im learning tagalog as my partner is a filipina and I also would find it easier for interactions with her family. This app is easy to use and with concise and clear audio, easy to understand.
Can there be an excercise feature for learning the words and phrases? Like something similar to the quizzes but with spaced sepetition flashcards and typing exercises?
I moved to the US when I was nine years old and I can still understand Tagalog but I can barely speak it. This app reminded me of many words I forgot! Thanks for making it free this year!🥰
5/5. Positive experience. This app works quite well conjunction with other language related materials. I feel confident in recommending this program to novice tag-maniacs!
Fantastic app! As an american that lived in the philippines for two years I'm trying to keep up my Filipino! Sad that duolingo doesn't have tagalog but this app is fantastic! Made by a true pinoy is the best part! Salamat!
Very easy and makes learning interesting. One of the most simple and just what i needed not knowing anything in tagalog. Helps a lot.
This was by far the best app I could get in learning Tagalog after looking for multiple sources. Please make this app available for free next year as it was the only place that helped me communicate and learn more in depth in Tagalog.
It is most valuable to serve as a reference and a learning tool. I turn to it frequently to help me understand some of the comokexitues of Tagalog
it was all good until i changed my phone and when i logged in my google play account my subscription for dalubhasa is gone. i paid for a one time subscription. please give my subscription back.
Incredibly user-unfriendly. Requires you to tap EVERY. SINGLE. WORD that you want to learn. Immediately uninstalled it.
Very wonderful app, just love it, it's very detailed in the conversation that you can have with people of the Philippines,I use this to train myself, all my with my love😉
As far as I can tell, this is a very well informed and completely knowledgeable of the Tagalog language app. I haven't used it very much however.
It's very helpful, it teaches vocabularies that are useful for my child.
Hello! Please enable users to access the audio quizzes individually. I do not like the format of the "Progressive" option. For example, I want to be able to practice just the "Prepositions" audio quiz and then the "Colors" quiz right after with the questions randomized just like the text quiz. Thank you for creating this app!
