Learn Tagalog Language with Master Ling

Ling has so many more languages than Duolingo and the setup is almost exactly the same. I am a native Tagalog speaker but lost touch with it when I was adopted. I had been hoping to find it on Duolingo, which I was more familiar with but I love reconnecting with it through this app! Salamat!

After years of trying to learn the language and dropping it because of other apps that only told you words from that language and not really how to form sentences, I finally am learning how to put them to context thanks to this app! The best app honestly

It keeps saying authentication expired everytime I open the app. Unusable. Will change when bug is fixed.

So far so great!! I am loving the concept and the lessons. By far better then Duolingo hands down. I only came here for Tagalog and it is delivering to me.

I love the premium due to the free trial. This app is helpful for learning Filipino keep up the good work . salamat. And I know how write Filipino now due to the app.😀😀😀

Was looking forward to speaking a new language. App would not open for 4 days. I cancelled. Might try again.

This app is amazing! The sentences make sense and the way it teaches you is easy to grasp.

Very nice! I like this app because my friends are mostly from the Philippines, so I want to learn Tagalog, then I found this app, this app is very useful for learning :)

Its really good i have learned somewhat something. But it is not free you have to pay its only 1 week for free.

The speaking lessons aren't working well, because there is something wrong with the voice detection. I repeat it exactly the way she says it, but it gives me 0% or 12% accuracy. With single words it gives me 100% accuracy, but with sentences it can never properly detect what I'm saying. Despite that it's still the best app to help you learn Tagalog.

it is good not perfect, I have many friends who are native speakers and although translations are exact the sentence structure is off. in some areas they nail it in normal dialouge from what I see. this app is great for learning new words if you already know the general structure of sentences then it is not an issue. I am not an expert but, message with a native speaker and you will see what I am talking about lol😅 otherwise the app is good so far

Nice app. I've been using it for a few minutes. Barely completed the introduction lesson. I like how it doesn't involve a timer and it gives you a free option where you can ise the app even if you don't pay for additional benefits. I did struggle during the spell game but l loved how help was provided. Watching the tutorial video was really helpful. Thank you.

Updating this just to write that Ling is a very friendly, easy to use, and fun app. A great way to casually pick up languages. I've used a bunch of different language learning apps and this one is one of my top three favorites and it has a lot of great features other apps don't have like the chat bot to practice conversations in a more organic way. Definitely worth downloading, trying out, and supporting them if you like it and are able to.

Lessons seem like they'd be pretty good, but the app consistently crashes as I get to the end of a lesson so I can't complete anything. When the monkey pops up, it crashes. Very disappointed so far and hope there's some fix. I've tried reinstalling and other trouble shooting and it still consistently crashes. Will uninstall for now until a fix is pushed

I love it! I completed a few lessons and it's really fun to learn. I love how I can speak into the mic and be corrected for my pronnounciation. The exercises and dialogue are super helpful. I wish there was a page to look over the words and phrases that I've learnt so far. Is that part of premium only? Premium is tempting but a bit pricey for me. Thx for offering so much for free. Much appreciated.

short lessons introducing practical and interesting vocabulary. each lesson has the same format where you learn several new words and have a chance to practice them in the sentences. all with native speaker sound. at the end of each lesson there is short dialogue with additional.vocabulary. 4* because I've noticed few minor errors, such as sound doesn't match the written sentence. apart from that highly recommend. great stuff

I installed this app to learn my own language, it has been very interesting . Others don't have lessons. This one is very awesome and does 5/5 , helpful lessons. I'm eager to keep using this app.

This could be a great app, if it were not so full of errors. Often words are in the wrong tense. Often a new word is presented, then when it is used in a sentance a completely different word is used. Some of the translations presented are wrong, others say things in a way a native speaker would never speak. Most of the pronunciation is good, but some words are pronounced as in other Filipino dialects. Some words that change, depending on the previous word use the wrong word.

Great app I am learning a lot. It works with my lifestyle I am constantly on the go so being able to have everything on my phone works great. I like the chat bot feature it makes it easy to practice conversation. I hope that you will make more lessons and levels of difficulty so I learn there will be more content created.

Hehe I'm actually Filipino. I didn't download this app because I want to learn Tagalog ( I already know the language ). I downloded this app because I just want to see some "Tagalog" apps😅

Great alternative to Duolingo since they don't have a tagalog course but giving it a 4 star because in the beginner lessons I'm on, some of the audio doesn't match the text which is a problem I feel that doesn't hinder someone from learning the true translation but can confuse them a little. Otherwise, brilliant app

Since I'm only on the free (and therefore) limited version, I can only say so much. It's interactive, but because my version is free, it doesn't have writing practices and grammar tips, which make me confused about the grammar in the example dialogues and also disappoints me with the lack of writing practice. However, I have yet to criticize.

So far so good! I downloaded this for my 6 years old son. We are here in NZ and I want him to learn to speak my language Filipino so im so glad I found this app. Its easy for him to start with.

Cute. Fun. Useful. I used to be a fluent speaker growing up but lost a lot of the basic grammar and certain words over time of not practicing. This app is great so far since it usues great ways to teach words and phrases one actually would use in everyday conversations

At first i liked the app. I thought it was helpful so i subscribed to the premium. Then after i paid the $8.99 monthly fee, it didnt unlock anything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing has changed. Thanks for ripping me off.

Downgraded a star for not reviewing the mistakes that have already been mentioned in the reviews and still asking to send an email to explain the issue in detail. How much chance is there that mistakes are getting fixed after sending that email when the mistakes are clearly explained in the reviews and you are ignoring them here? The mistakes are already in the beginner section, what can be expected in the subscription? People who want to learn a new language need to be shown words correctly.
