The best teaching app ever , my daughter learned to read within 3 months when she was 5 years old , now im trying it with my son he's 2 turning 3 ,and the kids loves it , I recommend it to every parent whose kids are struggling to read👩‍🎓👨‍🎓👩‍🏫👮‍♀️👩‍🚀👩‍🔧👨‍🔬

My 4 and 5yr olds have just started using this app and find it quite easy to navigate. It looks to be a good learning app. The only thing that I would change is with the English language, the words are said a bit different in the USA and UK apposed to Australia., so it makes some words a bit hard for my kids to understand. Otherwise it's great so far!

Great so far. Only completed two lessons. Update: I would have paid for the game. I'm NOT paying for a subscription!! Also, the first 4 lessons repeated the same words. Two lessons after that used the same new words. Repetition is great for learning... but I'm not getting a subscription for "1000's" of repetitive lessons.

I like the way it's been set up, but can we not start with the basics first? I'm trying to teach my 4 year old to read yet in lesson 2 it's trying to teach words like grasshopper and firefly? What about cat, dog, box, ball, hat etc? The pronunciation of some words is also not very clear and all the background noise is often distracting. We'll carry on using it, but only until we find something better.

I loved the app at first, it was awesome! I bought the monthly subscription, and the app started the lessons over but still only wanted to give us the free content. To go past the 2nd lesson it gave us a notification to pay, even though I already did. Finally I got it past the "request for money" stage, and then the following month went back to free content again, deleting all my daughter had done and starting over again. And then once again asked for money to go to the next lesson. :(

Although it's a very useful tool, it's completely unreliable. Sometimes works and runs properly and other posses so many issues. Always says you're not connected to the wifi or that your connection is poor. Other times it simply crashes in the middle of the lesson or doesn't even make it to start the lesson. The most recent issue is that it stopped moving forward with the lessons so It's been about 11 lessons that my son has gotten the same crab sticker and it's putting him down

I reviewed this in 2016 as I found this app perfect. However, I recently had to reinstall the app, a newer version. I'm sad that this app is worse. I purposely chose this app as there was an English setting that differed from American English. After hours reinstalling each of the English levels, although the voice is still an English accent, the much of the spellings and pictures with the words are American. Eg. favor, not favour, a vest showed a pic of a waistcoat. Also, many bugs in settings.

After updating subscription the app is still in trial mode. I cannot even use the app! The app overall has a terrible design and bad user experience. Hopefully I will get a refund for the last payment witch didn't activate the app at all. The support is redirecting you to your default email client app where they ask you to enter your info and also your email address and they will reply as soon as possible. The app is full of reppetative content, crappy animations and awful sound effects.

We've been actually using this app for over a year, my kid is almost 3. He loves it, when he asks for a game, it's one of the first he asks to play. But its helped him learn to read. We're on the advanced asks when it comes to the sentence game he reads each word himself before doing the puzzle. Great that he can press most of the words in the sentence to have them heard again. I think if each word worked by pressing. Also with the pictures and sentences, lets them learn more about the world

Sadly this app is a let down due to the need to subscribe monthly. At its foundation it is a good educational tool for kids, and I wouldnt mind paying a one of fee to purchase it. However having to pay monthly makes me critique it harder and it isnt worth the money with so many free alternatives out there. You get 7 levels free and you can manipulate it to get a bit more by changing the difficulty and the language between US english and UK.

We have the paid subscription on ipad and really like it. Buggy at times but overall super helpful for teaching my son vocabulary for Southern Vietnamese. Would love if there was a physical resource (book, flashcards etc) to supplement this resource. It also seems to be buggy about using it offline. I have only used the trial version on android. The monkey math would also be great if the tutorials could also be spoken in Vietnamese.

Just started using this. Super intuitive! The simple user interface is perfect for my kid so he picked it up right away. The words and animations are really in your face, so they keep his attention. He gets a kick out of the flicking scroll. This is fantastic and a life saver- thank you so much developers.

I tried many apps for my son to teach him English sentences, pronunciation and spellings. This app along with apps from RV Studios are the best free apps for teaching English to kids. The ads are hardly there, very good content which keeps kids interested. My son is able to learn a lot of vocab, spellings and pronunciations while playing, without even realizing that he is actually studying. Keep it up guys!

Has kids swipe their finger from right to left to "turn to page" but the kids just end up pointing at the words from right to left trying to read backwards. This app also starts with words for common animals rather than with three-letter words that share similar vowels or consonants. Terrible way to try to learn to read. Better apps include reading raven and starfall learn to read.

we loved this app a few yrs back when we could purchase by number of lessons. now that it is by subscription only, i cannot seem to subscribe anything. all the prices for each choice are blank. this is too sad for my 2nd kid who seems to be enjoying the sample.

I bought the full version of this program in 2016. I recently upgraded my PC to Win10 and I was unable to reinstall the program. I got an error message "You are not connected to the Internet, check your Internet connection". I contacted the company; eventually they responded and restored my purchase. I am thankful to them for honouring my purchase and operating with integrity. The app will get 5 stars when the "restore purchase" option works as it should. I would recommend this app. Blessings

I still had limited access after purchasing the unlimited access subscription. Issue still persist after a reinstall. Not sure why it takes a few seconds to download the 50Mb app but ~15 min to download the 20Mb in app content. My 4 year old loves the lessons and is learning; just wish I could get past the 6 free lessons.

Not recommended for kids under five as this app is just a computer games for them. The kids swipe the screen quickly to the end of the lesson to play around with the stickers. They later become addicted to that games. Online and hotline supports seem to be sales oriented, not app developing related. That forced me to put one star on here to get noticed: (1) 0.1-3.0 seconds between flash cards are not appropriate for small kids. (2) more parents settings should be provided on the stickers games.

This is the scummiest developer I've ever dealt with. I bought this app for my daughter for $15. At the time, it was a one time purchase. Now they changed to a subscription model and charge by the month, and removed my access to this app. Google won't help because it's been more than 48 hours. I've emailed the developer but they don't even reply. My money is just gone. Stay far away before they rip you off too.

Doesn't work. After downloading and starting the game, it remained on the setup screen for over an hour. The download for the default settings (step 1 of 4) restarted over and over again.

This is my 2nd year of purchasing this app the first year was a blast, its very good tpp teach toddlers how to read. Unfortunately I'm having trouble downloading it because it says I have no internet connection. But all my apps are connected to the internet. So I'm wondering if this is a glitch and what could I do to fix it.

I am in the process to get the other apps like monkey stories and maths. This app is great. I have had it for a very long time. It has helped my both children who performs really well. My little daughter has been exposed to it from in tummy until now. She has her own YouTube channel now called baby genius Ja. She is super smart and this is where she started from. Thank you monkey junior.

My daughter just turned 5 and is getting ready for a language assessment to enter a bilingual school. Her first time using the app she got through the first lessons in English and Spanish on her own. It held her attention and she loves it. Definitely going to continue using this app.

Purchased app and cannot gain access. After initially responding to the issue over email, the app developer has completely stopped responding and/or trying to help. Will seek a refund through Google.

Didnt work when i upgraded to yearly subscription... had to refund through google play as app contact doesnt work. This app is awesome when it works. Had problems when i did it monthly as well.

Nice app, my daughter loves it, but since i bought the subscription for one year yesterday, it does not work anymore. When we try to access the lessons, we always get the message "your order is being processed, your item will be available in a few minute". We informed yesterday monkey junior by email but no answer yet

Upon installing this on my kids tablet as it's going through the steps it shows a changing app overview flash screen. One of the screens has interactive spelt incorrectly as interative. Who proofs this app? I didn't even get into the app yet and have encountered one spelling mistake and god only knows how many more spelling and grammar errors there are. For something people are paying for it's unexcusable.

I'm not happy with this app at all! I subscribed for 6 months and the levels are still locked and still saying I'm on trial version. Please fix it or refund my money
