The first episodes are easier for those who just started learning English. The podcast is well structured as well. Every episode has the same routine, like talking about different places, interviewing people, following the life of a student from Venezuela, explaining new grammar or phrases, and so on and so forth. I'm just on the first series so I can't say much but so far it's quite good.

It's a good source for improving IELTS listening madule, but what's really annoying is when you exit a collection, you need to scroll all the way down again to get back to the earlier series. Moreover, there's not a sign to show which series you've downloaded or listened already in the home page(something like a bullet point would be helpful).

This app definitely improved my listening. I have been using this app since a long time ago. Unfortunately I face with some problems now. The app does not work well. Firstly, episodes stop playing after 1 or 2 minutes when the screen is off. Secondly, after finishing each episode I can not turn back to the home page. It gets stuck on the "loading ads" pop-up page. I reinstalled the app several times but it did not help.

The app is very nice and helpful.I like the fact that the transcript is divided and keeps up with the podcast. I also like the questions. I'd appreciate it if there was an option to accelerate playback speed (1.5, 2), and also a bit of variety on the questions type (fill in the blanks, complete the table, and other types of questions similar to ielts).

It's a good application. But as I've found out, there is no classification for the level of the lessons. Also it's a little difficult to know and get informed which section has a new episode. Indeed all the problems are about the classification and arrangings the sections. All other things are good in my opinion.

An absolutely incredible app, I must highly recommend this one. To be honest, I'm prepering to do IELTS test and listening all day these podcast I have improved a lot!!! Thank you so much. You are the best of the world!!! Beside, the only thing that I do not like is, too much advertisements on the app, quite annoying. In addion, the first season were more helpful to learn to be honest, when Tom explained the podcasts and the podcast were better when they lasted about 30 minutes. From Argentina.

Nice app, but it would be better if it playes automatically the next part. I mean we have to unlock the phone and go in to the app every time one part finishes for listening to the next episode, imagine how hard it is specially when we are driving! there should be play/pause/forward tools in this app to be more convenient and more useful.thanks!

I really love and enjoy the context you share on this app. The only thing I would like to see differently, is the design of the interface, I would love to go through a more attractive or colorful app. Perhaps another point I would like to make, is that you try to vary the topics you discus,try to talk about sports, nature, technology, health, education, etc. Anyway, I love this app, and I strongly recommend it to those that are trying to better their English.

I love this podcast app. It provides various topics for each episode and the script features is really help me to understand more. One thing that I would like to suggest, I don't why but the app stop playing whenever it runs in the background. So, would you mind to make the app work even when I turn my phone's screen off? Hi , it's a great app . But I'd like to suggest something to implement on this app . 1 ) should involve the repeating function for each audio player. Because I often play audio files when I'm riding so it's difficult for me to take the phone and reply the audio again and again till I fully understand that sentence and words of the conversation. 2) I just forgot the second suggestion , haha , it's a great app already suggested my friends and cousin. Once I leave the app playing in background the audio stops playing. I was been contacted by some sort of customer service but after several emails they didn't change anything. the issue is quite simple and I have invested my time explaining you in details how to reproduce it. You probably don't care, so I decided to uninstall the app.

It's a good one.. I've almost finished all lessons in this app. I felt it a good application to learn English. Even if some there is some problem like it go back automatically while lessening audios in some cases, but i found it a good and very interesting application... I found this app wen I lived in Spain, before move to England. In my opinion is the best app to learn English, is absolutely brillant. You can download the podcasts and save in your device, completely free and you can hear it how many time you want. Second, you haven't ads, or many less than other app like this. Also, the quality of the gramma and vocabulary is enough easy, for beginners, but it getting better more and more. The app is continuing apdate, always you can find new material.

Great app. But there are some problems When you work with app. Some times dose not work properly and it bother you. I recommend it to every one who want to improve his /her English . I am sure this kind of bugs will be fix soon because of that I didn't consider it in my assessment. The episodes are excellent.

Today I'm here to inform you a problem of this app. After installing & listening an episode, when we try to get back at home, then there's a sign that tells us "loading add", but it actually does not. We don't see any adds here rather we just see "loading add", we don't even be back at homepage. Then we gotta minimize the app or stop the app forcefully. It's very usefull app to learn english through listening, that's why I want developer of this app to fix it soon. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

I give maximum points because there are good combination of the pace of speaking, tone of the speaker and the best thing is that during the story at the same time you can read easily and quickly the transcript of the story. Each paragraph is highlighted in green and you can follow the narrator.

I feel comfortable listening these podcasts. All my life I've lived in Latin America and as you well know it was very hard to get exposure to spoken English here, but now I can train my hears and understand much more English using this app. And the best of all, it's for free.

Good app for learners, it's well done expecially to improve listenig ability and vocabulary. The topics and the contents aren't boring, they show every kind of real life situation, therefore they are useful. The test at the end is an instantaneous feedback for learners which provides the real understandig level. I absolutely suggest this app.

This is app amazing. To me, it is absolutely one in a trillion. A very big Thank You to the management of the British Council for their excellent work in ensuring this app is available to educate people around the Globe! I enjoyed listening to the audios every single day. Here are few suggestions... Could you try to add settings menu to change background (black and white text) so that much easier to see text in dark specially at night time. Also try to add faster speed. If we move from text to questions then it loose pointer and need to start from beginning. Lastly, application go in hung state if we start to without mobile data or wifi.

Haven't used the app much yet, but I'm not sure how else to ask a question - is there a way to see the proficiency level or the exercises attached before I download a certain podcast on the phone? From a teacher's point of view it's too much work going through every podcast just to find out if it's suitable for the students. Thanks.
