The app is designed as an introduction to Tlingit language and is a supplementary tool for those learning and teaching the Tlingit language. Audio for the vocabulary and phrases is provided by a variety of fluent speakers.

My mother Ida Gallagher taught tlingit in yakutat city school for years and allso the spelling of the language. I grew up in the tlingit culture and not many children new the language. It's good to see the language being taught once again.
Excellent.thanks to all of our elders who took the time and love 4 our ppl to help our grandchildren, parents, and all who would have loved to beable to communicate with Our grandparents and parents, our elders, children, were able to many generations ago. We now have the opportunity to learn our language, our g-children can learn fast n with such ease it simply amazed me. I am proud to say mine an many other g-mas ❤ that our Tlinght words,our ways of life,well continue through our bloodlines.
way better than the zimonzays app. sorry zimonzays. i am no expert on lingit and not even an amatuer at this point, but maybe you can help us all understand. what is the difference between southern and the sealaska version?
for a 13 year old tlingit this is a easy fun way to learn.im from the kaagwaantan clan Idk if i spelled it right.and I teach my lil sis with this app 😊👌

My only complaint is they don't have all the words in each section yet, (for example they don't have all the colors or body parts yet) But I'm sure they'll update it later on to include more words. The app is easy to use and easy to understand. Hope to see more updates in the future, love this app
I think the app would improve so much more with a copy of the tlingit dictionary in it even if everything isn't sounded out. For people that can't buy the dictionary or don't have it downloaded. So you'd be able to search for an English word and the tlingit phrase/word would come up.
As one who was raised in Hoonah, a Tlingit village, I always wanted to learn!
App crashed while trying to click the learning links and the audio files in the alphabet only worked about half the way through.

Newest update fixed the issue. Gunalchéesh Latest update, I'm unable to use the audio files within the Index section. I get the error message (could not find) when I try to play a file.
