Recruit promising young amateurs, established professionals or retired veterans, challenge favourable opponents, and train your fighters for upcoming bouts. Matches are won or lost depending on the strategy and tactics you devise, so it’s crucial to analyse both your combatant and your opponent to create the correct fight plan. Winning bouts will move your boxer up their respective weight division rankings, to eventually challenge for the world championship belt itself.
But the boxing world is a slippery one; losing bouts will delay your ability to challenge others, ruining your momentum and allowing other promising stars to challenge your position. Suffering injuries during bouts will lower your boxer’s subsequent fitness, meaning they will be less effective in the next bout unless given time to rest and recuperate. Boxers you seek revenge upon might shift weight division, foiling your plans for immediate payback.
Different boxers peak at different stages during their careers, and as time passes your boxers will age and their abilities will wane. Young, fresh-faced opponents will rise through the ranks to challenge your dominance, and wily old campaigners will battle on long passed their best, eager to show they’ve still got it.
The path to glory is not always clear, and it is up to you how you form your fighters’ careers. Do you ambitiously rush them up through the rankings – challenging as high as you can each time, or do you favour a steadier approach – building your boxer’s skills over more contests? Do you favour the breathless punch exchanges of the lower weight divisions, or the thudding power of the heavier ones? Will you dominate in one weight division for a decade, or will you shift your fighters from division to division, capturing as many titles as possible before their skills begin to wane? Do you allow your recruits to retire undefeated at the peak of their powers, or do you keep ushering them on for one more tilt at the big time, long after their abilities have deteriorated?
The choice is yours; there’s no end-game in LEATHER®. The only definition of glory is your own.

Fun game with lots of potential. The biggest problem is that negotiations are too onesided, where the other person doesn't accept anything worse than they ask for. It would be nice if they felt like actual negotiaons instead of just always ending up paying what they want. Maybe have them throw their own counteroffers or even just be willing to accept other numbers. Other than that, there are no bad things I have to say about the game. Really solid work and one of the best mobile games.
I've had this game from the free version and then the paid version right from the start. It's still my most played game today and I absolutely love it. I always look forward to the updates to see what new features have been added and it never disappoints. Also it's just one guy who does everything on this game so big respect mate and keep up the good work. 5/5 every day and twice on a Sunday. 👍
Engrossing game! I've been obsessed with Leather since I installed it. The game strategies are so subtle and layered that you really feel a sense of accomplishment when your technically inferior boxer pulls off a stunning upset in the final round! It's not just red and blue dots bouncing around, it's strategically developing both individual boxers and simultaneously managing a larger boxing "ecosystem". One suggested tweak: Add a "CONTINUE GAME" button to the BOTTOM of the fight card view.
Good Boxing Manager Sim, Quick bug/fix, When in a match you can close the app and reopen it to reset the match thus giving the ability to cycle until you win the match.
Greatest boxing simulator on the market hands down. Powered by a single developer, this app continues to get better with every update, and it was worth the price it currently is about 10 updates ago. Phenomenal game, I can't stop coming back to it.
You will spend 80-90% of this game on loading screens. How can my phone run full 3d games at 30 fps with multiplayer but is struggling to run a text based game and spends 15 to 30 seconds on loading screens! The simulation is amazing, but clearly the technical design is inefficient and is poorly built. There is no way this game should be loading this much to generate basic text based prompts. Too late to mend this now, probably, which is a shame. S10 galaxy btw.
Good amount of depth for a mobile game. Would recommend to anyone who likes sports management simulation or boxing. Is it possible to carry across a saved game from one phone to another ? Where would this be saved on the phone Thanks
It is a very good game, try adding one more major belt to make it more realistic , add the UNDISPUTED accolade, add MANDATORY CHALLENGER, and try fixing the game because there are time that it lags and crashes but overall the game is amazing
Really fun and enjoyable game and a touch addictive, the creator is very active within their community on Reddit and constantly taking on feedback. The game is going in a great direction, and I feel as if I easily have got my money's worth since purchasing!

What an amazing game, just bought! I wish they'd have this depth for other sports. I'd love to collaborate open-source on an MMA game if given the opportunity, although I am mostly a self-taught dev. I've been trying to design my own MMA sim for months and there are so many components needing to be accounted for. What are language(s) are you coding in brother? And do you have a github to share? Love this game and have been playing it on and off for years, one thing I always wished it had was a system for negotiating fight purses with other representatives.
Great game here's my wishlist to make it even greater 1-Gym location- country where gym is based 2-Choice of venue when choosing fights with travel costs- encourages newer gyms to fight more regionally 3-More competitive championship matchups- mandatory fights & not allowing fighters coming off loses to non champs to challenge 4-Training injuries- causing fighter to pull out fights (rare) Incredible game which I have sunk so many hours in, really a masterpiece thank you for all your work.
First app or game I've reviewed, easily the best game I've played on mobile, and I'm more a MMA fan than a boxing fan. Superb customization for a text based sim game, amazing training feature, little amount of gimmicks. Truly exceptional and possibly the best mobile sim game for any genre.
Love the game and how you can keep track of who's the goat n by weight class what about also like who ever earns the most I think would be another cool feature to track

I have become addicted to this game to the point to where I had to force myself to delete it. Obsessed with the artifical intelligence and Stat based system that is used. I have spent countless hours just checking boxers accolades to get hyped up for mega fights. If this was converted into a Mixed Martial Arts game with a similar system, although I would imagine it's an entirely different challenge with having having to take into consideration for the unpredictability of the sport. Love the game
I love this game. It's a blast, it's very very simple. Two dots bounce around on the screen and that's the fighting there is an announcer of sorts that you can read along with but it's very simple. The beauty is in its simplicity truely. I do have a suggestion for the dev. It would be neat as hell if you could recruit past fighters in a coaching capacity. I imagine my head coach builds meaningful relationships with some of his champions and they would help develop future Champs. Great game.
Really love this game been years since found a game I could literally play over and over again and it still be fun. Also, the new update is nice touch nothing big but the nuance really adds depth. Great job! P.S. Hall of Fame that shows real players (as in human player vs human player) best vs best all-time boxers records?

I think this is the best boxing manager simulator I've ever played. But theres somethings missing on this game There are only 3 Major Belts on this game I wish on the next update make it 4 belts. I just edited my comment btw I love the latest I'm just wandering if you still want to add the 4th belt. Just asking.
Why can't a rank 1 World Champion from one weight division challenge another rank 1 World Champion from a different weight division, like for example the super middleweight division rank 1 World champion challenges the Light heavyweight rank 1 World Champion. They still have to move up in weight to fight them of course. But also not sure why all the belts have to be taken away if you move up if you're champion. But if you're champion and challenge another champion you keep all the belts. Hey!😎.
The game has an issue with projected earnings vs actual earnings for your gym. I have had boxers in several fights where it predicted in-between $450,000 and $900,000 winning and instead I only make $24,000-$35,000 after a win. Outside of this issue, its a solid game.
I really love the concept of this game and have quickly become addicted to it. I love that you can set your starting money amount and also the difficulty, it makes it perfect for casual play. Id have given it 5 stars however there are a couple of things that were frustrating such as having to reset the fight speed every single round/fight, it would be great if there was an option in settings to set it to what you desire. I also wish players didnt lose abilities after fighting, it makes no sense.
This is a pretty good simulation game, I like it a lot. As a word of improvement, could I get a button to continue story on the "my gym" screen. Because I can train my fighters from that screen and it's a little convoluted to have to hit back twice just to press continue. Or maybe if that won't happen a way to quickly swap through the fighters that need training instead of having to hit back and then pressing the next one. Whatever is easier. Thank you and God Bless.
Been waiting for a game like this for years. Excellent boxing sim, fun and detailed. I used to get a bit frustrated when I've got a 22 year old boxer whose stats seems to naturally decrease before I can increase them - but on further reflection I guess it adds to the realism. Not every boxer can be a world champ right? Got to find the right one. Only suggestion is money becomes irrelevant after you've had a world title fight. Could do with more upgradable options I guess? Excellent game though.
As a long-time player of sports simulation games, I was excited to try Leather. On the whole, I would recommend it for boxing fans, if not beyond. The combo of many unique stats per boxer, training, and fight plans are the main drivers of strategy in Leather. Mastering how these interact is the crux of the game. Unfortunately, beyond setting training parameters and fight plans, there isn't much to do. This makes gameplay very repetitive and caused me to lose interest after a couple of weeks.
Absolutely amazing and addicting game! This game is great, i only have two small problems. One i can forgive but the other one I'm confused on. The first one i forgive, is the loading screens. It feels like im on one every couple of minutes which gets tiring, but i understand why its needed. Secdonly, is the upgrades in training. They feel useless, and i wish their was an explanation to them to explain how much your stats will go up when purchasing instead of leaving you guessing. Amazing game!
I have played this since the beginning, I absolutely love it. Even when I end up getting Burnt out, thanks to the active development, I can pick it back in a few weeks and there are new additions. Thank you for continuing the development and giving us such a engrossing game!!! Just a quick question, for some reason my "processing week" loading time has slowed down considerably, and I am on a new gym. Week 6 or 7 I believe. Anyone options to disable that can speed it up? Thanks!!
