Training is an important part of a company’s food safety program. This training App is brought to you by the American Mushroom Institute (AMI) and focuses on personal practices employees need to follow in the mushroom packinghouses to prevent mushrooms from becoming contaminated. Personal hygiene practices are an important part in preventing unintentional mushroom contamination from people handling them. Employees will learn the different personal hygiene practices they need to follow when working with mushrooms, such as wearing appropriate clothing, eating, drinking, and smoking in designated areas and appropriate restroom usage practices. Each AMI Food Safety Training App includes interactive activities, videos and quizzes to ensure employees are engaged throughout the course.
