Lección De Escuela Sabatica 1 Trimestre 2020

Welcome to one more study of the Sabbath School Lesson 1 Trimester 2020 entitled the book of DANIEL; You will find the 13 lessons of the 1st quarter 2020, where you can review and take your summary on Saturday to your Saturday school.

INTRODUCTION

DANIEL,
PROPHET OF THE END
As the nineteenth century disappeared as the century entered
XX, a sense of optimism invaded the West. From
the hand of science and technology, humanity
He was moving towards a golden age, a future of possibilities
wonderful that they would finally end up
war, pestilence, poverty and hunger. That was the expectation,
at least.
Of course, the twentieth century showed that this hope not only
It is false, but also foolish and naive. This helps explain why
what when we entered the 21st century there was no great optimism
for a better future.
From a worldly perspective, it seems the world still
it is in a rather unfortunate condition and, worse,
It is unlikely to improve. Current humanity
seems to be so prone to greed, oppression, violence,
conquest, exploitation and self-destruction as they were
His ancestors from other times. Meanwhile, many of
our great technological advances, although sometimes they do
positive contributions to humanity have accelerated the
evils mentioned above.
Of course, none of this should surprise us with texts
as: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and perverse;
Who will know him? ”(Jer. 17: 9), or:“ For he will rise
nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be pests, and
famines, and earthquakes in different places ”(Matt. 24: 7).
However, in the midst of all this despair and calamity,
we have the book of Daniel, our study for this
trimester; a book that is especially relevant for those who
we live in ayt qatz, "the time of the end" (Dan. 12: 9). And that is
Because in the holy pages of Daniel we have evidence
powerful and rational that confirm our belief in God,
in the Lord Jesus Christ and his death on the Cross, as well as
in the promise of his return and all that this entails.
Think about it. In Daniel, from beginning to end (chs. 2, 7, 8, 11), we have been
given, from several angles, the following sequence of empires:
3
Babylon, Medopersia, Greece, Rome and the eternal Kingdom of God
after the Second Coming. From our current perspective,
in the time we live in, we can see that all kingdoms
Worldly arose and disappeared as planned. Or, in the
case of Rome, emerged and is in force, at least for now, as
Daniel wrote it. It is represented on the feet and fingers of
feet of Daniel 2:33 and 41, and it manifests itself in the nations yet
divided from Europe, as well as in the Roman church itself. By
therefore, we have a confirmation of biblical prophecy extremely
wide and solid in the history of the world, that someone who
lived in the time of Babylon, Greece or even in the first
Rome days could not have had.
By living at this height on the prophetic time scale, also
we can see that Daniel was right about all these
kingdoms; therefore, we have even more reasons to trust
he regarding the only thing that is yet to come: the Kingdom
eternal of God, after the Second Coming.
Yes, the book of Daniel continues to be a powerful document
that confirms faith; especially for Adventists of
seventh day, they find seminal texts on their pages
for our church, especially Daniel 8:14: “And he said: Until
two thousand three hundred afternoons and mornings; then the sanctuary will be
purified. " This verse parallels Daniel 7:22, 26 and 27, which
show that after the great heavenly Judgment, given “to the people
of the saints of the Most High ”, the eternal Kingdom of God will be established.
In contrast to the fleeting and earthly empires, this will last
forever.
