It does what it's supposed to. Shows the expiry date and ticket balance so it's perfect. No complaints. If it could show monthly passes too, it would be even better!
Finally, it works great. Removed the phone from it's case, activated NFC, and placed the card just like on the graphic and am able to read all the cards in the family one after the other. Number of tickets left, last trip taken. Wow, thanks, much faster than plugging the Opus gizmo on a pc. Thanks. Merci beaucoup !
The app works fine, and detects the card. But number of tickets left never shows. Any fix? But every other information is shown, ie. Last trips, etc. Also my card shows as expiring in December 2040, which I believe is erroneous.
Only hearing the bell to let us know that the app detected the card but no informations appears. Only seeing "Hold the card on the back of your device" even after the bell. Useless app with the Google Pixel 2 XL, latest Android version.
Very useful. I'm not a daily STM rider so I charge my opus with 10 day passes instead of getting the monthly. This apps allows me to check my trip balance in 2 seconds.
I loaded 10 tickets using the Opus En Ligne card reader from my laptop. I then used this app to confirm that 10 tickets were available...it showed that the were no tickets available. I then inserted the card back into the Opus card reader... It confirmed there were 10 tickets available.
This version has a bug: it shows 0 tickets in 25% of cases even if you have more tickets. There is a fixed version: search for "OPUS Card Reader" application
Even with my NFC turned on my phone, the app sometimes takes up to 2 minutes to read my OPUS card properly. Hopefully the next update for this app will be a lot better.
After purchasing 10 fares the app always shows 0. Just discovered that behavior after purchasing 10 fares, seeing 0 remaining and verifying with a metro clerk who said I had 25. I had refilled in the past after seeing 0 fares remaining. Basically useless for me.
This app used to work, now (2019) it doesn't find the number of tickets left. It still shows the last trip, so it reads something.
Sucks big time. Does not work on an LG6. Does not read the card just have the scan the card screen. Can't even access any of the other screens the app has. Yes NFC is on . POS app
I am giving this one star to show the fact that if it can be read it should be able to be reloaded directly on the phone. I mean you can do this via opus enligne but why not through the app? Toronto can do this through phone app but not Montreal? It needs to be more accessible for people without computers but who have tablets and smartphones.
Works perfectly on my pixel 2 but unable to get a reading on my pixel 4XL. I get the "NFC read error . Try again" message. Any way to get an update to fix this issue?
Usually takes a few tries to work, but once it does- very helpful information. If only we could load our cards through the app too
it doesnt tell you all your passes but chooses one and tells how much of that pass you have. it does tell you where you last used your opus pretty accurately
Add link/feature of being able to buy or "Load up" completely!!!! IN my opinion it wouldn't take much to make this a winner!
Doesnt work for STL although it would be really great if it did. I tru without the case and all but the "hold your card at the back of your phone" never goes away sooo
The reader says I have 4 tickets left. 4 what?! I have both train and metro tickets. Doesn't tell me whether it is train or the bus and metro. I want an app that would tell me all what is loaded on card
works for individual STM tickets, but not multiples. it shows that I have 0 tickets but I still have 5/10 passages yet.
Sometimes gotta play with the position of the card or restart the app if you didnt have NFC on before opening it
seems to be working fine. galaxy s9+ with spigen case on.(didnt have to remove case)
since I got the S10e the app doesn't work, it worked great on my S8. bummer though it's so handy
Works perfectly. Tried the opus and the solo card. Reads both of them.
Works fairly fine if you remove your phone from its case. Useful, thanks!
Remplit exactement sa fonction. Lire ma carte opus et me montrer les billets restant. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Read my opus card and display tickets remaining on it.
Work as expected on my Samsung A8, it shows all remaini g tickets and also last time I used!! Good job.
Shows remaining tickets on 1 Opus card correctly, but on another it shows zero even though there are 7 STM tickets on it. 50% success rate...not great.
Fares have dissapeared 2 times in the last month. Uninstalled the app, seems like my Opus card was hacked...
Works well, but I wish it could tell the difference between STM, CIT and other when telling me how many tickets and what monthly passes I have.
It worked right away on my huawei even in the case. It says it wont scan passes, just tickets and that it's independently published so prety much what you should expect is written right there. I see a lot of pretty rude reviews on here and I wanna remind everyone that coding is a lot of work and apps are amazing and they don't all work right away. Google clock still won't play Spotify as my alarm like it's supposed to so I still wake up to this stupid beeping sound but wtv I'm glad they tried.
