I love this app as it is very convenient and readably available. It allows me to spend time in scripture in a contemplative way, so not only reading the Bible but engaging with the Father as I do that. It also allows me tp record what I have written so I can revisit and as I do that I see more clearly what God is saying to me. Excellent!!!! My only question is once it stops which I believe is July, how do I subscribe or get access to July-December. Thanks
I have been using the books for a couple of years, so I was glad to see these readings offered in an app. The app is set up just like the books, and it has handy links to each specific reading at Bible Gateway, where you can use the default ESV or choose whatever version you prefer. There are sections to record your thoughts, insights, and prayers. My only quibble with this app is that it erases what I write more than half the time, and I haven't yet figured out why. 5 stars if this gets fixed.
Hidden charges! To download this app is free, but to actually use it you have to sign up to a monthly payment subscription! This information should be at the download section, not just way down the information in the 'about this app' but on the main screen. Other similar apps are just as good and completely free.
Great daily tool for mediation and scripture. I love that it syncs across devices. Does require a $1.99 per month subscription service although well worth it!
I am wondering if this is a Catholic app? If it is, why link to a Protestant Bible? The Bible used is missing Books and does not bring up the original place holders found in the DRB.
Wonderful daily path to walk with the Presence of the Lord!! Easy to make notes, review and catch up if necessary!
Excellent way of praying, but there's a few bugs that make it less than usable on the pixel 5a. Timers don't go off after the screen goes into hibernate. Auto capitalization is turned off in the writing fields. And the button overlaps the text when you're writing.
