LED Compass

Finally !!!!! An easy to use compass app that doesn't hit you with 10 ads, and locked up screens that don't work..... this app is awesome !!! It works right away, and couldn't be any easier to use and set up.... I found it after downloading the sound level meter app by the same company, because I wanted to test the exhaust and horn on my motorcycle.... Both apps are great !!!!!

I'm impressed with the somewhat unique interface rotating text as the compass turns so that it is always readable. Worked well and accurately except when too far off level. Some compass apps have included phone orientation into compass display calculations, but it may just be difficult to get the correct reading from the sensor despite the programming adjustment if not close to level.

Very accurate ,I put this compass up next to my military compass and it's right on the money ! So it won't get you lost !nice Gui screen nice graphics). Longitude & Latitude Coordinates are right on the money as well. Another addition that others don't have, is the ability to calibrate your compass.The designers took great care in this compasses design and function. I gave a 5 star rating because of the basics as well as some features that most, wouldn't recognize or understand . Great Job !

The app looks fine and appears to work okay but using it the fact is that where it thinks North is, is not North, magnetic or otherwise and this is despite the calibration of my device showing as good. I find this to be an issue with the majority of this type of app. Just as well I know how to use a traditional compass.

If your phone has a magnetometer, then it works as well as iPhone compass! It is extremely responsive and easy to use. It has a lot of options that you can mess with too! P.s. I am using an S21. Search your device on Wikipedia and find magnetometer to see if your phone has the sensor or not.

Works very well, and love that it provides the address of wherever you're at. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I've used other apps with similar functionality that allow you to use the camera to capture the background behind the compass. This app performs well though and does not have any flaws that I have seen.

Accuracy, level of detail, responsiveness, easy multiple readouts, and features such as great contrast colors, with selected choice of type for displaying information makes for ease in reading yet attractive, and create great composition and organization of information that make possible easy use of the compass without confusing interferances.

Awesome, pl add the functionality, to enable anyone using this Compass App, to know various directions presicely, with respect to his / her position, like adding a special coloured pointer arrow which can be directed at user's position, so that, he / she can precisely understand other directions with respect to his / her direction, whether stationary or while travelling. This will be very much helpful when used concurrently with any maps (app, like Google maps) so that it will be much easier.

Very good compass app I don't think I found a better one a little jittery but if you're in the woods the mountains someplace where you don't have quite the best service it works perfectly it's not jittery at all I don't know if you need service to activate the compass. The GPS in your phone should be able to at least show you where you are on the compass because it gives you that capability

It's user friendly. Works well with or without GPS. Occasionally rewuires you to draw an imaginary 8 a few times in a vertical plane to restore accuracy. Very suitable for mega cities like Mumbai where getting your bearings right saves you from getting lost & wasting time.

Very accurate and easy to use, make sure your phone case has no magnets in it as they will interfere with your phone sensors. Calibration is essential and this app shows you how to do it...! Thank you for a great app..!

Do far it works. Once I go hiking in New Hampshire's White mountains I'll compare it with my military issue compass. It would be real nice if it had topo map transparency. J.R. On 8/18-22/2020 I hiked 21miled in two days, checking my topo maps with this compass and with my USA government issue compass it was perfect so far. Even without internet connection, a very bad storm was coming in and knowing of a natural cave I set quadrants to where it was followed 1.3 miles and just in time, . 5stars

I love this app. I am a volunteer fireman and it would be useful if the GPS coordinates could be switchable to decimal place instead of minutes and seconds because it's easier to give it to the helicopter for coordinates on where to land. Thanks for such a great app Rich

I don't use a compass very often. Sometimes I use it to see what direction the wind is blowing. This app is excellent. Very smooth and easier to use than a mechanical compass for a low-skill compass operator like me. Nice app!

Screen is locked and does not move. The ad portion of the screen was less than others but still would not go away and would not allow focus on the compass. Thus compass won't work.

A terrific app that sure comes in handy when getting around unknown areas. And for those that leave it in a cradle & active while driving, it's a painless way to help improve your sense of direction.

Great compass. Like the size of the compass ring, it provides good accurate readings. Shows magnetic and true readings. App allows you to toggle between true and magnetic north which earned the 5-star rating.

There is tendancy for the compass needle to tick and jump at the degrees increments,, example , when pointing to 118 it will stick at 112 the maybe jump to 120....or similar in other areas..but to be sure to see the effect you must rotate very slowly

Have used it once. Too small to read when driving. Inconvenient to stop every time I'm tokd to change directions. I'd like to see it much bigger, or ha e it tell me which direction i need to turn.

Dip needle feature needs to be incorporated appropriately. In the magnetic meridian, holding the mobile phone sideways vertical, the needle becomes horizontal instead of showing true direction of earth's field and dip angle. You can incorporate this change.

1. So far, so good! 2. 9/14/2020. I have since used and played with this app to my pleasure and I find it to be very accurate and nice to have, particularly with the Lat & Long, which I had forgotten how to activate for a while. Thanks!

Okay, but wouldn't trust for land navigation. Off by +/- 6 degrees at times (yes I know how to use a magnetic compass). Maybe I'm missing something.

This is a handy app. I use it most frequently when I get emails from NASA that tell me when the International Space Station will be viewable where I live. I can figure out over which house in my neighborhood it will "rise" and where it will "set." Without this app I wouldn't know where to look.

After update lost longitude and lat reading. Changing the settings seem to have no effect at all. Hope to see a fix in update

Potential users are not told they need a phone with magnetic sensor. After downloading, wasting time and bundles the error reading comes. Very disappointing

I don't know which way is north. Many times during directions, they tell me turn East or North. This compass has saved me multiple times. Thanks, great app.
