LED-to-Bulb Converter

LED-to-Bulb Converter shows Watt values of LED lamps, light bulbs, compact fluorescent lamps (energy saving lamps), and halogen lamps and their typical corresponding brightness in Lumen (lm). The app helps you to choose new LED or energy saving lamps which are approximately as bright as the good old light bulb.
Additionally, the app provides a scale to get a feeling for the color temperature of lamps (measured in Kelvin).

Please note that the lumen-per-watt-values are only approximate average values and may vary from lamp type to lamp type!

Links to selected external websites lead to pages providing more information about Lumen, Kelvin, Light bulb sockets and screws (e.g. Edison Screw (E27, E14, E10, etc.) and the EU energy label.

Still can't be bothered to tell us what's new in the latest version, eh?

Slider gives precise calculation, but I can't buy a continuum. I want to select discrete commercial values and color names. I don't want to know theory in between (what I can't get).

Easy to use Useful information, and showed very clear on the screen. No unnecessary rights, so it's a plus.

Just what I was looking for.

I use this app to estimate how bright leds are in comparison to regular light bulbs or CFLs. It does it very well. Instead of a slider, I'd like to be able to click on one of the fields and input the value I have to get the equivalent values of the other items.

Excellent easy to use app with all info to hand.

Tested this in my quest for a simple estimate of an LED's wattage equivalent to a given incandescent bulb's wattage and vice versa. Barely qualifies as an app. Much data are links to other sites that will quickly go stale. Only active content is 1 entered value of LED's lm/watt. No program options. User interface is (to be nice) ugly and Spartan with large ugly fonts that don't fit their text areas. Looks like one's 1st naive attempt at coding. Right idea, wrong design, nil value. Removed!

Helped me a lot choosing the right lamps.
