Left Right - Stereo Test

Couldn't possibly be any easier to use. Wear your headphones, launch the app, and touch anywhere on the screen. A voice will say "left, right" one time in the corresponding ear, while the other side remains silent. It also lights up a drawing of each side of a set of headphones while each tone plays. Touch the auto repeat button at the top of the screen to play each tone and light up each earbud in what is most likely an infinite loop. Easy to use and accurate.

Does exactly what it says on the tin and gets the job done. ✅ This application tests internal and external left and right speakers. This is especially perfect for those external devices that have no markings to determine which is left or right, and the fact that it is "cost free, has zero clutter, is of a small size, and also free of ads" is the icing on the cake. 🍰 This is simply a 5 🌟 application for what is was designed to do. Indispenisible application. Small and light-weight without ads or invasive permissions. Criticism about length of audio message is invalid; simply touching the headphones displayed on the screen repeats the message. Do this as many times as necessary to verify your headphones are positioned and outputting correctly. Simple and works.

A simple app, but it does exactly what it needs to, with no ads or tomfoolery. I have unmarked earbuds, and had to look up a specific YouTube vid to make sure they were in the right ears, but with this app, that is now a thing of the past. Easy, swift and of high quality

Simple, lightweight and efficient. Works great for my dollar store headphones. Note: I too was hearing "left" from each channel separately while playing music. Stopped the music and heard both left and right. I think this only happens when media is playing on certain devices or with certain apps (FM radio). App works flawlessly.

It does everything it promises and it does it perfectly. It's just a simple thing to test left and right that doesn't take up a lot of storage. I like how it doesn't have all these fancy buttons that other apps will give when I just need it for one purpose. Every 1 star review is just because people didn't read the description or because their headphones are broken.

Simplest way to check if my headphones need a day's rest too :) Helped me understand what the problem was when I noticed a sudden drop in sound quality of my wireless anc headphone. Apparently one channel had become less clear after hours of listening to very low frequency asmr (building up emc, needed degaussing). This impacted the output that's generated regardless of any panning through EQ. So this simple app really did what no other tool did: help me figuring out the problem. Thank you!

Simple and useful, but I'd prefer to be able to tap on each ear so play only left or right, because I use this app for checking when one ear stops working or bad cable connection. Thanks!

Very good app and simple to use,even comes with a widget service which is very handy. But I discovered a bug(not important). After multiple rapid taps on the widget,the app fails to work anymore. App has very small size,so uninstall and reinstall isn't a problem. Kindly check this one.Awesome experience otherwise.

Simple. Does exactly what you need, and widget is perfect, only thing that'd probably make it better is widget customizations or different audio choices, perhaps allow users to record and edit their own. That'd push this above any other app of this type I bet.

This is pretty much all you need if you're have to make sure that the both channels are on point before soldering the contacts. No ads, clean interface. I recommend.

Great app and it's so simple. The one heart comments don't even know what their talking about and the problem is with THEIR headphones not the app. It would be nice if I could hear a "right left" because my OCD is going absolutely crazy but it's manageable

Great as an app, but I just LOVE the widget! It makes it so fast & easy to figure out which earphone is which, whether it's too dark to see, or it just plain isn't labeled. Problem, solved!

This app does exactly what it says it does. Quick verification of position of the stereo channels left/right. Once you verify to your satisfaction that all is correct you can simply uninstall. Small enough in size to just leave installed for further verification of other devices if necessary. Nicely done.

Exceptional.. Now If this is all headphones I'm not sure or just cheap but with only one in u get left right info from it. Put both in and u clearly hear which is left and which is right without doubt... Brilliant app for those of us who can't afford ear buds or headphones that cost more than a few quid. Just a question is this definately set up correct. My earbuds straight out box claim to be left right but don't correspond to ur left right???

This app is not designed nor intended to be a test of your ear phones' fidelity or quality. It defines the left and right channels. It does that. Don't rate it less because it doesn't do what you want it to do. Thanks fo this handy utility.

It does 100% of what it says. It tells you which headphone should be on your left ear and which should be on your right ear. That is all. Nothing complicated. No need for any options. Just click the image and it says left and then right. It is beautiful in it's simplicity.

Simple and easy to use. I had a problem with my bluetooth earbuds, with swapped left/right channels. I was able to confirm the problem with this app, and also test and determine if the solution I was using worked. And it worked!

Does exactly what you need. Used it to tell which way round my new headphones went, and then uninstalled. If I had to suggest an improvement then maybe the ability to tap left/right to trigger that side, but eh? it's fine.

plays left side on the left plays right side on the right. this is important because cheap headphones you hear the right and the left on both earphones. which is not good if your playing a game like PUBG where you need to know if the enemy is sneaking up on you from the right or left. good headphones you can close your eyes and hear some one running all the way around you

Great when working with Chinese stuff as 60%plus don't seem to stick with the western wire protocols. Vital for Bluetooth headphone leads TOO THE PERSON WHO SAYS IT IS USLESS. OUT ONE SIDE IN AND YOU WILL HEAR "LEFT OR RIGHT" AND YOU CAN SEE IF YOU HAVE THE CORRECT SIDE IN. TRY TO 🤔. Dev. Put a donation link in. Some of Us like to pay for useful apps even simple ones. simple, clean interfaced quite useful app. convenient for identifying l/r channels but also useful for checking phasing on wireless earphones. no extraneous features; a quality so many apps lack. only issue is speed of channel check.

It does what it tells you it does, you can even make a quick widget on the home screen so you dont have to open up the app, a little not for the dev's. If you use the widget on the home screen and press it repeatedly it gets loud lol it's not a problem with me though, I think it's kinda fun to mess with

Perfectly does what it claims. The app is under 600KB in size, has simple user interface and is free to use with no ads. Could not have askwd for more

If you just need a straightforward stereo channel test this is all you may need. Perfect for checking crossed drivers in headphones, full-sized stereo systems and those Bluetooth speakers that sometimes claim to have two stereo drivers but don't lol.

Simple, lightweight, boots lightning fast and has no anti-features or ads. I didn't bother myself to find any alternatives to this. Thank you for delivering this.

It's one of the app I always have on my phone, because while buying wired earphones manufacturer often make reversed left-right earphones and it will spoil sound experience in movie and gaming. Thanks to this free app I always first check and buy earphones and headphones.
