Needs fast travel (like the remastered #1). Desperately needs a brightness slider. Several bugs where you can click or tap on things yards away (like in the area with the rotating letter selection puzzle; you can actually tap on things way up at the doorway to the upper right of the entire area/room). Puzzles feel like you just have to start guessing at solutions rather than following a linear progression from puzzle to puzzle. Love the ingenuity applied here, though. :)

2nd is much longer than the 1st and more difficult, but still very enjoyable! I like that you have different endings (don't worry, I won't spoil it). There is quite a lot of going back & forth, so the markers showing if you got everything done in a specific area is really helpful, but it would be nicer if you can fast travel to any room. Also, really liked that special move in room 15, it was completely unexpected & very creative!! Now on to the 3rd!!!

Very nicely done. Movement can be a bit tricky at times on a smaller screen although exploring where you can go in a room is part of the experience. One or two puzzles seemed a bit of a stretch to figure out. A few more comments when you click on items could help. Perhaps a time system where if progress isn't made the comments go from cryptic to easy? (EDIT: just looked at #3... seems like the developer addressed this) Strong work and a game anyone who enjoys puzzle games should play!

Awesome game with challenging puzzles. Two things could make it even better: a better walking mechanism and a way to add notes to each room. There are too many rooms and sometimes is hard to remember where that thing that needs another thing to be opened is. Thanks for creating this game.

I really enjoyed it. The movement system could be better but the game easily compansates it with long gameplay and some really interesting mechanics, especially in the late game. David, you might want to add small hint text for how to light up the crystal and the "purpose" of the cutting pliers. They can be a bit hair pulling to figure out. ;) Keep up the good work!!!

Super fun game! This designer definitely put work in! Have to click in exactly the right place to "walk" and the room sometimes spins due to overly sensitive controls as you handle an object. Sometimes we got stuck and there was no option for a hint. We had to fast forward through a YouTube walkthrough that's 80 minutes long to get a hint. But the puzzles are great -- some are VERY good and difficult, others are easy. The game got easier as we got used to the style, too. We enjoyed it!!

Fiendishly difficult puzzles some of which had no logical sequence. The hints were of little help. What was needed were sequenced hints each one pointing closer to the solution over time. I only managed the reach the end by using a video walkthrough. This should not be necessary with a well constructed set of hints. The puzzles and storyline were very clever.

I really enjoyed this game. I was hesitant to try it because the reviews said it was hard and frustrating but I thought it was a good challenge. It took me 6.5 hours to complete but I didn't have to look anything up. The story was awesome! It's so hard to write a fictional story about ancient Egypt anymore but this game really nailed it. Clever and not cliche. The puzzles and format are challenging to figure out but certainly not impossible. The map hint feature was really helpful.

I very much enjoyed this game. The story was well done, the puzzles challenging without being impossible (although i did use a walkthrough because the game is dark and my vision not the best, so some things were hard to see). The visuals are nice, too. Looking forward to more.

Fun & challenging. The biggest difficulty in this game was remembering what each room contained. I spent more time feeling lost in my whereabouts than I should have. This may have been due to the touchy control and added to the difficulty! Loved loved loved the game story line and puzzles!!!!!!

Very enjoyable. I've sat down and played none stop for 3h until I've completed it! Liked the fact you can just teleport to certain scenes. The ability to acquire hints would be really great for improvement of the entire experience. That was the only downside for me.

Well thought out and at times difficult, there's a few puzzles I would never solved without the walkthrough help (lead ball with hole). My only real gripe is the movement. It takes 2-5 swipes to turn left or right 90 degrees. Kinda frustrating.. Improve movement and provide a few hints at times.

Much better, many improvements compared to the previous game. Looks better, better controls, more challenging puzzles. A side note on that, sometimes I just saw no way to use an item, like the lead sphere or the pliers, the way I see it there are no clues as to where, how or why should you use them. The movement improved, but still feels kinda slow when moving through a room (moving from a section/puzzle to another in the same room); fast travel helps a lot. Bravo, nice work.

It's an OK game, it starts off a bit slow because it's easy to get lost, or forget where that one thing is that's required to complete a puzzle. Got tired of seeing the puzzle with the 3 balls. The one where you need to pass a beam through glass pieces. It'd be a lot better to see one type of puzzle only once throughout the whole game. More variety in the puzzles, a map system that's a lot easier to follow, and maybe somehow to find interactive parts of the room, and that would have given this game another star on my rating. Story was interesting enough to keep me going. Graphics are up there, sound /music didn't give me anything to complain about. Nice game overall.

This guys is a genius. Start can be slow because of graphics level but its done by one guy after all. Once you get into it, the puzzles are really creative, and I mean, never seen before ideas, not only they are the right combination of easy-medium-hard, there is is one part I enjoyed so much, I wish it would have never ended. (clue: upside down.. :)). I went back to the Room series after this and found it was boring, no matter how good looking they are. This is why I say genius, I am hooked and now I am sad that there is not more... Someone in a review said the transitions between puzzles & rooms could be more obvious and I somewhat agreed. I also like its a memory puzzle game to figure out what was in what room. Do not think twice and buy :)

I've played all the Rooms series and House of Davinci. I was wanting more of a similar game so I found this one. I have to say it did not disappoint! I work in the technology field and know first hand how hard it is to storyboard, code, test, implement and maintain an app. And for one man to head up the entire life cycle of this game, it is phenomenal and was highly impressed. The storyline is great, graphics are stunning, and the puzzles are tough! I also found navigation easier than the Room and Davinci mainly because I didn't have to constantly pinch in and out to change directions after I had gotten close to an item to inspect. This navigation allows you to easily double-tap to zoom into an area and you just simply swipe left/right to rotate directions without having to zoom out. I found it much harder to solve puzzles or figure out where I needed to go next than the Room and Davinci. The rooms and Davinci keep you confined to a few rooms or areas per chapter. This one opens up more and more rooms as you progress which I found challenging to remember where exactly I had to go next. I wouldn't say this is a down side...it just made it more challenging which is the point in puzzle games. Keep up the excellent work!! I look forward to the next one!

Well done, a bit simplistic with a few of the puzzles, and some actions were not intuitive at all. But for a solo effort by the developer, it was a worthy game. I hope he gets a bit more challenging with puzzles (and I do not mean inventory based ones, some of those made no sense) in the future. And also tries for things that are a bit more logical.

Cat. Oct 2, 2019

Fastinating puzzles, but often I just couldn't figure out what to do next. Game is too dark on my display, unless I play with brightness too high or ambient light is low. Only other problem I have found is that moving around is sometimes difficult; sometimes it seems to require a double-tap, and other times just single tap on desired destination; getting through doors already unlocked. If you want to apply something from inventory, make sure you are zoomed in on the target as much as possible.

The game is interesting and somewhat challenging. I'm only speaking about the beginning, however, because twice now I've gotten a black screen upon opening the app after uninstalling and reinstalling. Obviously, I lose progress. A way to save on the cloud or something would be nice if it's still got some glitches. I would like to complete it but I don't have all day to spend to finish the entire game. And now I can't play it at all... Only a black screen after trying to open it after install.

One of the best. Kudos to the programmer. On the negative side, because the images are dark and complex navigation can be difficult. The jump points help, but the map images can be difficult. With 24 or more rooms, i often found a walkthru helpful, not to solve puzzles. But simply to get somewhere i knew i needed to go. Waiting for the next version impatiently. For those who enjoyed this, I'd recommend Lost City while waiting for the next installment

Could've been a good game but had to constantly see walkthroughs as I didn't know what to do with the objects I kept finding, there were so many rooms that it was impossible to remember which room had what puzzle to open. Watching walkthroughs ruins the fun of the game. Also you needed the option to go to all rooms from the map, when you're confused where to use a lever you found, it's a must to be able to have access to all rooms from the map. constant back n forth makes it laborious and boring.

I loved all the room games and was really pleased to find this game. Hints are appalling and really not worth having. The game itself is really nicely done and the puzzles are difficult but not ridiculous. Its frustrating when you have to keep looking at walk throughs though, I got very stuck at the beginning. Its a bit glitchy in places too. Maybe less rooms and more going on, I spent a lot of time trying to remember where things were. But its a good game and I'm looking forward to starting 3

Legacy 2 is a unique and visually appealing adventure game. Love the ease in being able to look up and down and all around the rooms. Although a map is provided with quick jumps to different rooms, being a good navigator helps. I had to consult a walkthrough twice, both times because I was not standing in the exact places necessary to use the items. Two possible endings. Overall, fun game.

Kei. D. Oct 18, 2021

Very fun game. Challenging puzzles. Some don't make sense as to how they are solved. More directions when moving through game. And most importantly, when attempting to use ( place) some of the items, they would not work. After multiple attempts and referencing walk through. I had it correct but it just didn't take all the time. Very frustrating when you know the items go there.

Ric. W. Oct 10, 2018

The game is a little too unweildy. There's too many rooms to play at the same time, controls are not that good, most frustrating is not being able to zoom in. The challenges are ok, though not very intuitive and the storyline is lacking. Not trying to be mean, but I honestly don't believe the developer should be charging for this game yet. A little more experience and eventually they could reach the level of competency where that's appropriate but for now you're basically paying for an amateur's hobby.

This game was both enjoyable and frustrating. The puzzles we're great. In some areas, the lighting was too dark. There were many times when I had absolutely no idea what to do next, so I definitely suggest adding some clues - even vague ones to give the player SOME idea of how to proceed. I had to view videos on YouTube just to learn what I'm supposed to do. Even if the background lighting was still poor, I'd give five stars for useful hints.

I like the game alot! The plot made sense and the puzzles were worked intothe plot logically. It wasn't just random puzzles here and there. Each had a purpose. However, it was tough to figure some puzzles and clues out. I had to pull up online guides to figure out a few. The graphics were good. The 3d room views were nice. I'd give it 5 stars except for the extra hard puzzles that didn't make full sense to me.

Fantastic visuals and graphics! Some of the things you need to do aren't intuitive or logical. Some way of getting clues would be best. I needed to resort to using a walkthrough sometimes, which I felt ruined the story a bit. Overall it was a great game, which (with some improvements) could be amazing! Noticed 1 bug though... In the room with the claws to put the blocks on the conveyor, it was showing as still having more to be done when I completed the game.
