The app is still terrible unfortunately. Even simply scrolling through the transaction history makes the app freeze up frequently before getting a response. Maybe some day it'll be fixed, but I think the app has been out more than a year so far. It has potential, but it's a shame that can't fix simple issues to make it run better.
App glitches and hardly ever works. Haven't been able to go past the login screen just buffering for 2 days. Some times it shows the balance, sometimes only shows random numbers and error codes. I can't see what's pending on my account and doesn't display the balances left under the cleared transactions. I never used the app before this update fiasco and now I see why. I only downloaded it when you switched everything over and I couldn't login online due to the issues the upgrade caused.
Perfect example of "don't fix it if it's not broken!" App is garbage. Before you could see withdrawals or deposits that were color coded for your convenience with a running balance. Now you get some fancy black writing with no idea of what's coming or going and NO updated balance per transaction. Garbage. Seriously gonna change banks. I'm not here to balance a checkbook. Please fix it.
Terrible app. Cannot pay bills. You add a payee, it says it's been confirmed, you get an email confirmation but the payee never shows up. The website is just as bad, when trying to pay bills says the bill site has been redirected too many times and I have been unable to pay bills thru either in 2 weeks
Doesn't deserve the one star minimum. The new app is horrible. So many good features are gone, it doesn't entirely match the online browser portal (my mortgage shows paid on one but not the other???), and they clearly focused on aesthetics instead of function. They should be ashamed of this garbage.
The only thing that I like about this update is the theme selection and new security features, otherwise its no better than the last. Some of the features on this app were taken away. You can no longer see your previous account balance before a transaction. If you have a nice sum,and several transaction (business accounts etc.) get ready to get your calculators out.. 😒
This process to enroll into the new digital banking system is one of the worst experiences. I have been trying to log on for two days. I spoke with a representative and she tried to help as much as possible but all the things she mentioned I had already done. She asked that I keep trying to log in but did express the system was down at the time so try back later. I know the pain of changing systems however usually the company has a workaround as plan B.
I Hate this app...but need it sometimes LOL Very convenient when I need to quickly check my balance, but if I want to make ANY type of change to my account (even simple things like updating my address) I HAVE to send a message to Legacy and wait for a response from an associate. SUPREMELY frustrating!! You can apply for loans from the app, but God forbid you want to open a checking account online *eye roll*. System needs a major update. Not everyone can or wants to visit a branch for service.
This app is horrible. It was obviously rushed through production because it's very buggy and glitchy. Been trying to remote deposit a check this morning and it just keeps spinning and then tells me it can't be processed at this time. Thanks, that's informative and helpful.
Basic account access. Would be nice if I could setup fingerprint login instead of having to type password everytime. Also would be nice to be able to perform bill pay in the app. Coming from another bank app that could. Will be missing these features alot.
I don't think I have ever had a banking app this bad. After you sign on to app all you get are the ballance in each account. There is not a way that I have found to check what charges or credits are pending or posted.
New version of the app is unusable. Old version was at least usable. Worse part is that they changed the online banking through the website also, so now I can not get either to work right.
I still do not understand why I cannot see my balance with EACH TRANSACTION as with the old app. The look and feel of this app is crummy! I grow weary of complaining. I gave it two stars as a positive because in my opinion the only positive addition is the sign-in feature.
SHAME ON LEGACY. Clearly this new app is all about money and not about the customer. I can't even load the login screen without seeing an ad for a loan and now I can't check see transactions anymore without having to pay a fee at the ATM because the app won't display them. Who cares if it has a uab themed background? Fix this garbage app
Can't log in post-update & after reinstalling. Both mobile app & online banking suddenly not letting me log in. Tried re-enrolling multiple times yesterday & today to no avail. Called tech support: one hour wait time yesterday, left message, no one called back; tech support line goes directly to receptionist's voicemail today, no call back after a few hours.
I can't believe they still haven't fixed minor issues like the jagged scrolling. And I still want to see the balance on every transaction like the old app. I hope they didn't pay someone for this. If they can't even get the basics right how are they keeping our data secure?
Horrible app, should have made it simple, miss the color transactions and total. Personally don't like beening able to access to see my money and ads at the bottom covering my typing in my password is really bugging me.
It would improve the customer experience if the new app forced upon us actually worked. The open letter from Joe McGee is an insincere attempt to quell what is obviously a botched roll out. Fix the app or revert to the previous version so mobile banking may go on uninterrupted.
Less user friendly. Some transactions say "none" whetevthe vendor info should be. I'd like more than 10 transactions at a time at the outset. Looks nice but actually pretty clunky.
This app does not open consistently, not friendly user. Looks more like a ledger. The previous online banking was much better.
I've had issues for a week now. I've even deleted the app and redownload it and still cannot get back into the app. Very frustrating
Having similar issue all of a sudden and cant accept disclosure agreement and screen reading "set me". Fix it! The app worked fine before
This app is awful! I have to go on laptop to access my account because the app on my phone sits and spins constantly 😒 NOT IMPRESSED! Don't bother downloading.
Unusable. Cant accept the disclosure agreement. Just shows "set me" on the screen and the accept button cannot be pressed.
Literally seems like there is about a 50% chance the app is available for use at any given time. Very unstable. Very frustrating.
Update: 4/12/21: Stop doing updates. The app was so much better. But you did an update on 3/30/21 and now we can't get into the app. Orginal comment posted 11/2021: Update was not worth it. App takes forever to upload, minutes. Then you wait after you enter your password. There's even a waiting period for the app to close.
Why this digital update was released is beyond my comprehension because IT DOES NOT WORK. I downloaded the App but unable to sign on. No access!
I've used this app for the past few years and it's the worst banking app I've ever used. Simply depositing a check remotely is nearly impossible with the amount of errors you get. I've used and deposited checks on other banking apps and it's seamless in comparison. This app also freezes and takes a long time to load while scrolling through your transaction history. This app is VERY simple in comparison to others on what it allows you to do and it performs that poorly. Also security is not great.
