Every single time I open the app it tells me it couldn't load the content, but if I delete it and reinstall the app it will work one time. Most glitchy app I've ever used. Does not give me confidence when running a business or trusting it with my personal info.
App seems somewhat functional, but it errors out after viewing it. When I check up on it later the progress section errors out and the "retry" button fails. I have to log complete out of the app and log back in to get it to update the progression bar/circle.
watch out for hidden charges. I set up an llc and had it back from the state in less that a week. That is why they got 2 stars. They then chatged me almost $200 as an "automatic charge" to be a registered agent (I wanted to be my own). I called to have it reversed. They said they could help me file the change to myself for $129. (its a $5 charge and one form through the state) and they could not let me know if i could get a refund for the service i didnt even want initially. so im out almost 200
Be careful, Legalzoom is a rip off and misleading. Once you made the payment they no longer care. I paid twice for a business license last year and I still don't have my licenses, they blame it on a third-party business as if thats my problem. Again Legalzoom is misleading and a rip-off! Be careful
Used them once, trying to take $500 2 years later. they won't stop charging my account because I don't have one with them anymore as I sold the business over a year ago. I never even signed up to have them take the tax payments yet here they are, trying to take it from my bank account 2 years later. And of course they refuse to help me because I'm not a customer. I'm going to have to change bank accounts since they went to Visa to get my new credit card number. Worst corporation ever
For any future users, if you call LegalZoom you will be put on hold without music. There are no options to have them call you back despite them saying it is possible on the phone. In the app, the chat function is largely useless and doesn't recognize some of the questions you may have. In short, be prepared to be frustrated. There are no real remedies for either of these issues so stay on the line and hopefully either a representative will text you or speak with you after an hour.
They imply one thing and do another. There service is to difficult no matter how easy they make it sound. Save your money. I highly recommend not using legalzoom. I paid for licensing services they implied they would do(but won't) they are going to tell you what you need and ask for more money. DO NOT USE LEGALZOOM. THEY DONT GUARANTEE ACCURACY.
Horrible app nice design. It doesn't actually work but it looks nice. You can login with your LZ credentials but nothing actually loads. You have to go to their website to download documentation or see your purchased services.
My password (which works on the desktop) won't work via the app. 2 of 3 menu's on the homepage simply won't load (tracker and vault)......Starting to wish I used something else to start my LLC.....this is VERY inconvenient.
The app is not good for a business they took 282 from my account then when i call they say its pending an my bank tells me the transaction was completed an they have recieved. Then when i tryed to send an email there email is too full. The on the chat no one ever answers an if they do it kicks you out. I advise no one to use an i would love to have my money back to go else where..
Everything was going great until it was time to send me my LLC. My last name is spelled wrong on everything but the first page. I had to go thru florida sunbiz to change it back but the 900 bucks I spent at legal zoom was a waste because everything you still mailed to me has the wrong last name. MY NAME IS JONES. WHOS JAMRE??? REALLY. Your customers service was a big help too. Just pay again for a problem you didn't fix.???? No thanks.
App definitely doesn't show current information, I've been in the process for over a week now, from the website and everything is great, I definitely wouldn't purchase anything though this app but it would be nice just to view my progress and possibly my paper work after my DBA and sellers permit is filed.
Company great, but app is garbage. Order tracker never loads. The vault page always states that it can't update. Chat never connects.
It loads the status the very first time you log in, but if you back out and log back in, it gives an error. I've uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times. With the same issue
Sneaky Hidden fees. They turned a dream i've been cultivating for over a decade into a nightmare. I would not use them if i had to do it over. Dont use them, instead contact the small business development agency (SBDC) in your state.The SBDC will be more helpful and do it for 1/10 OF THE PRICE! I am fighting and paying to disolve the LLC i started with legal zoom. Using legal zoom is a mistake.
I didn't read the reviews before using Legal Zoom to set up a LLC, its app it's as bad as its customer service, hard to get answers. *** Updated: I got in touch with a representative, Victoria who helped me to resolve the issues of the LLC process. Victoria was very attentive and efficient , the process will continue, I will update whatever happen.
Horrible app horrible company. Stay away. Charges you x5 what the state fees are. Absolutely no customer support. App constantly crashes and has only 3 sections which don't upload. Stay away. This is no a legal site. It is a scam.
Crashes, fails to sync with server, doesn't reflect my paid subscriber status, and support was not helpful. Uninstalled. Not ready for customer use.
Does not work. This app says that it's "unable to load" every time I try to use it. I love their services, but I hate this app. I'm uninstalling it immediately.
Almost completely useless. Only lets you see business articles of formation,but no other order types or documents.
Why LegalZoom sucks: Their business model is horrible. The attorneys and tax consultants are outsourced and paid per 30 min call. They could care less to do anything for you but have a conversation for exactly 30 minutes. You could be mid-sentence and they will cut you off and tell you time is up. I have also gotten completely wrong advice many times, likely because they want to run through the calls as fast as possible instead of actually trying to help.
Very simple to understand. All the info I needed was in one spot and kept organizing efficient.
Its a huge ripoff and the support is terrible would not recommend. They will also charge your card and claim you made th charge. Would not recommend at all.
Legalzoom is set up to take your money. Partner with other entities that will then take more money from u. SMH. They litterally have not been doing ANYTHING for me with the $ 400!!!! That I paid them. Just forward my email to their "partners" anxious to get more money from me!

Not functional. Absolutely useless. Actually worse than useless. Legal Zoom are scam artists and this app is just part of that system.
I purchased the LLC March 19...at one point the app said that there was an issue with the state...but now I have uninstalledand reinstalled the app, but the app says there is a purchase required. I've tried to reach legalzoom a couple of times in reference to my account and the status, bit all of the animated circles the system leads through is extremely prohibitive in the process.
