Tired of trying to pick masterminds, schemes, and heroes for your Marvel Legendary card games? This free app makes it quick and easy to get up and running with minimal input and maximum output. Simply pick the number of players and the app will select a Mastermind and a Scheme, then automatically assign Villains, Henchmen, and even build out your Hero Deck for you, all with instructions on Scheme Twists and any other special rules applied by the Scheme.
The free app gives you two options for selection to maximize your enjoyment
- you can choose basic/random selection, which just randomly chooses your Mastermind, Scheme, Villain, Henchmen, and Heroes. Or you can opt for the new "Smart Selection" method, which uses the characteristics of the chosen Mastermind, Scheme, Villain, and Henchmen to preferentially select the Heroes which are best suited to the scenario and characters you're fighting. No more having no X-Men when the Blob comes out (statistically speaking)!
The settings for the app allow you to choose from any of the supported expansions (Dark City, Fantastic Four, Paint the Town Red, Villains, Guardians of the Galaxy, Fear Itself, and Secret Wars Vols. 1+2, Captain America 75th Anniversary, Civil War, Deadpool, and the rare 3D promo cards) as well as the Base Legendary set, and to configure the Smart Selection method to increase or decrease the Team and Class preference assignments.

Love the randomizer. Easy to use. Just wish updates on new expansions came a little faster, but totally understand this is a free to use app.
Nice easy to use app that gets the job done. Only ask is would it be possible to at least make a note for Schemes from which set there from. The heroes are easy enough to find with an organized divider setup, but even when the schemes are organized by set its tough to identify quickly from which set I should be searching through. Definitely adds additional time when setting up a new game.
I love this app. I would like to see an exclusion option. I also wonder if the app considers the Phase 1 heroes and the Core game heroes to be 2 different heroes or not. I haven't had it happen yet, but I wonder if it's theoretically possible to have 2 Captain Americas or Hulks or whatever. I love that it's free. That does mean that it may take a little longer to update. For example Revelations isn't updated yet. It's also less than 2 weeks old.
love this app, there is no better way to play legendary! I've used other ramdomizers but end up with impossible scenarios. I've never seen that with this app thanks to the smart builds. this isn't too say it makes it easy, we still lose some of our games... but it will make the teams interactions work well. this app feels so essential i don't play legendary without it. an option for a checklist of completed schemes or masterminds world be an awesome addition!
If you play Marvel Legendary then this app is an absolute must. All expansions (except the most recent Dimensions) are supported allowing for true randomization for your game play. Smart randomizer allows for weighting your preferences which can make a huge difference in the synergy generated by your deck, hence increasing the difficult if your team doesn't mesh well. Ability to select specific masterminds, schemes, playmat versions (hero/villian), team versions (HYDRA/SHIELD) allows for incredible versatility in your set ups. The only downside to this app is not having the ability to select specific heroes; however, you can easily substitute on your own as your play-style dictates.
Fantastic app, an absolute lifesaver for people like me with a lot of expansions and crippling choice paralysis! It's already a 5-star, but I would LOVE if the app could also include a keyword ability quick reference, to become my one-stop Legendary resource (and so I don't have to worry about digging through manuals or reprinting reference sheets!)
Rock solid. I've tried this and the other free randomiser app and only this one actually gives team set-ups that can beat the bad guys. In this app you can choose the mastermind and scheme and the app chooses the rest. More customisation would be nice, such as the ability to exclude certain heroes or to choose a team to play with (e.g. X-men or Avengers) but I get that this would complicate the app and increase the risk of creating bad teams
Great app and extremely helpful. Thank you to the devs. Wishlist would be to ID which expansion the schemes came from, keyword definitions, list of keywords based on hero/villians that were selected, and the ability to manually swap out parts of the selection. That being said, I'm already 5 star satisfied with the product the way it is!
I have been using this app for years. Since it was initially released. It makes setting up games so much easier. Some of the combinations that it randomized for me are insanely hard. (Makes for a fun game). Can't wait for the update to incorporate the new expansion.
Love the randomizer a lot, I play solo all the time so having them randomly pick the master villain with the heroes I'm dealt. It helps me learn strategy in what I have to play with. Wish their was a legendary app with all the keywords and definitions as well as examples. That I could quickly look up
Love it! The randomizer could be a bit better since I seem to get the same schemes, villains, and heroes, most of the time. On a minor note, I think there's a bug in The Demon Bear Saga scheme randomizer since it adds an additional villain group.
Great app, settings allow for including or excluding heroes/villains in your game. There's intelligent selection settings to make sure to allow for synergy in the deck selection and you can weight that process based on your preferences. Anyone with this game,I would highly recommend this app, great for setup!
This is hands down the best app for Legendary! I spent so much time trying to roll dice or somehow randomize everything before getting this. This makes that process 2 seconds and it is worth the download. It is a must have for anyone who plays!
Seriously Amazing! By far the best Legendary Randomizer on Android! The smart randomizer feature really takes the "work" out of the game, and makes for much quicker setup and play throughs (because you hero deck and villian decks are considerably better synced together). My only wish is that the developer should be compensated for all his hardwork... crazy that he produced this app for free in his free time. No ads, no cost, he should at least put up a donation button on his website...😁
Surprisingly smart; the app does a good job of always making sure the randomly selected heroes play well together. This app manages to cut the setup time (arguably the most frustrating part of Marvel Legendary) down significantly.
I think this app is great but is there a way to add custom cards to the decks? i love randomizing all the cards from the legit decks. but there are really cool fan made ones as well. it would be amazing to mix and match them. EDIT: thanks for the response! I'm willing to wait, the game is amazing and so far this is the best randomizer I've seen in the play store. keep up the great work!!
I love it. It helps to set up games quickly and efficiently. The only gripe with it is the inability to lock in heroes/Villian groups for those moments I want to use a "specific team" against random scenarios.
App is fantastic and easy to use. An absolute must have for any Marvel Legendary player, regardless of if you only have the core set or every expansion. Setup is made so much easier with this if you just want a random game!
I am loving this app, so firstly, thank you to the designer! Rather than me blindly picking at cards for setup, it now feels like the stage has been set! - please consider adding the initials of the expansions after the names of heroes, villains, schemes etc, eg. Kingpin (DC), Galactus (FF), Carnage (PtTR) - if you find time, please consider a scoring database that records all plays and results w/ details of all characters, villains etc. Thank you for breathing new life into the game for me. D
Great companion app that makes setup a snap. My only recommendation would be to include a note for transforming characters in the setup instructions to set those transformationcards aside. Still, absolutely wonderful app! Thanks!
I've been enjoying this randomizer a lot. I sometimes tweak a few things since some characters seem to show up more often than others, but an overall very solid app.
Very good app, extremely efficient. I like the simple look. It would be great if they added a database with what cards the expansions come with though. Still very a very good app. Thanks for making it free. =)
Love this app. Smooth and so easy to set up a quick game from. Easily customized. A must have if you're a serious collector and have multiple expansions.
I think the app is great. I wish it clarified which set each card is from. This would help us know which card is intended. (I.e. "Wolverine (Xmen)" is NOT the Wolverine from the Xmen expansion, it is the Wolverine from the base set with the Xmen affiliation.) Also, it would help us recall where to find the various groups for those of us with lots of sets and little memory. Additionally, Black Bolt in both Secret Wars Vol. 1 and Realm of Kings is listed as "Black Bolt" with no distinction.
Great app! It a much needed addition to the Legendary Marvel experience, help to make the game alot more diverse. Only wish I could see the set name for each of the chosen cards.
I dont play without this Randomizer anymore! only thing I would love to be added is that behind the name of the cards it would say from which game it comes from. I have a few expansions and sometimes I dont know from which game or expansion for example the wolverine or spider-man is ment. is this possible? should be worth atleast a buck or 2!
Oh my God, this app is utterly amazing! It save so much time. Beware, however turning off Smart randomizer mode making the selection truly random will create some intense games! I would add 1 feature however. Put the team icons next to the names of the heroes.
