from what i can tell its a very good strategy game. my only problem is getting the campaign completed so i can upgrade and unlock everything, and then play a real fair game pvp. im sick of the campaigns. a tutorial is one thing but this is too much. i want to compete with people on even terms now. the unlocking is draining my love of the game. Maybe give away one class fully upgraded so people can play multiplayer and see if they even like the game before they spend money/time upgrading.
Great turn-based strategy game. It reminds me of Starcraft in a way, with different races having different strategies and tactics. Then it has a neat EXP skill system with plenty of random combinations, making every game unique. I would love to see new skills and special buffs per units, maybe even a new race. Additional unique race-exclusive buffs would be wonderful. And extra unique buildings too. Great game overall.
I'm a devotee of the tbs genre in general and was despairing of a good fantasy version for the phone. But this game is everything I could have hoped for. Wouldn't mind seeing some base-building and such in the future, but for a truly free game it is amazing. The in-game currency is generous, and I bought more just to support the developer. I would have happily paid for this game. Sound strategy, good unit variety, and excellent graphics.
Finally a good strategy game that is not all about user monetization! Love the game, we should all encourage these game dev that sacrifice profit over making a solid affordable game. In depth strategy, but yet simple to play, the perfect combination. With 10$ investment, you get double the mission rewards, which is enough to let you upgrade your units at a good pace. Thank you for this awesome game!!
Promising, with nice graphics, but.. Levels are not balanced well. Some are way too easy, but some are impossible to finish. Also ynits are too cheap so many of them are added each turn so you can not kill the number of new ones are created - never ending story...
Nice but too repetitive, too many units to play that make the game repetitive and unnecessary time consuming. You can have a great and well balanced strategy game like this with 1/3 of the units. Too many scenarios (long and boring) to do to proceed. Story and rpg taste almost zero.
Excellent excellent strategy game. Onr minor gripe is the "hell" difficulty setting is dang near impossible in some stages while achievable in others. Maybe that speaks more of my own strategising abilities than the game though. Still, an awesome game. Thanks and keep it up! Shall look forward to other games by this developer.
One of the vest quality games I've downloaded. Great strategy game, easy at first but difficulty scales appropriately. No annoying adverts. No need to pay for upgrades or add ons. Looks great and runs smoothly. Definitely worth a download!
Great game. The best. Zero freemium nonesense. You can pretty much complete the entire game without purchasing anything although i did make a few purchases because i think this is the kind of game that deserved to be paid. Best of all is that you advance according to your skills with the game, not because you paid for extra time or extra energy. on top of that, zero ad. I really applaud the way this game is designed.
Amazing game! I like that there are multiple factions, each with their pros and cons and different strategies involved. Graphics are nice, skirmish mode is perfect, gameplay is smooth. Great job!
This game is something any turn-based fan or pro player can easily get into and immerse one's self into the wide variety of colorful characters and challenging, fun scenarios in the campaign. I find it fun, cute and very smooth, dev(s) deserves 5 stars!
Nice graphics, the game is polished and fun. I appreciate the lack of ads. The steam class feels a bit overpowered. I would like to see a story mode or achievements to make the game feel more meaningful.
The strategy is quite intriguing. It is fun with the options to upgrade your units. Multiplayer can only be done 1vs1 though. Would be nice to see 6 to 8 players on the same map, either team fight or FFA.
Best turn based strategy game I've ever played. Competent AI presents a very good challenge to the player and there are no intrusive ads. Combat is smooth and enjoyable. This game is a joy to play.
Real review, great game. More of a campaign style game. You'll probably be really interested for a while, lose interest, then pick it up at a later time. Good if you're bored and want a good RTS turn based for a few hours.
People who made the characters and buildings in the game are very creative. The terrain is logically suited to all units. The graphics are simple yet the game is sophisticated. The game deserves recommendation. Good Job WY Games!
Please update it to support the latest smartphones. I have an S9+ and it's letterbox on my screen. It also doesn't adapt to full-screen well if I try to change the settings in Samsung's gaming center (like most games do).
Great game. Very nice campaign, clear everything with 3star (except some hell mode are literarily impossible mode, to get 3star clearance.) When playing hell its tons of saving and reloading, literarily costing hrs just to get 3star. Though challenging, it aint fun at all, reload and keep reloading, so many random factors. Hard mode is nice, enjoyable and more logical. Replayability really low, dont think i ever want replay any of the hell mode. Do something about the hell mode!
Very solid turn-based strategy with strong similarity to advance wars. No intrusive ads/freemium content, and excellent UI. No story, and relatively limited amount of content, but very good gameplay.
It's a fun game. Though I kinda wish the heroic upgrades were standardized or I could bring a soldier qith me from a previous battle or something. I get attached to heros and It's disapointing leveling some one up and not using them.
Very addictive game, well designed and fleshed out, and great for offline playing in campaign mode. Not pay to win, but I don't mind giving them something to support them.
This seems kind of sweet...Until you realise it's actually quite nasty. WELL DONE. Absence of irritating ads is massively endearing. Game play is adequate rather than slick ... but intuitive enough. A nice example of how turn based tile games of the chess like genre SHOULD be done.
This game is amazing! It has excellent balance, variety, and replayability. The controls are easy to learn and the size is appropriate for the mobile form factor. Each of the "legions" has a different tactical flavor, and the campaign pushes you to exploit their strengths while avoiding their weaknesses. The upgrade system ensures that the gameplay evolves as you progress, making meaningful tweaks to unit strengths and noticeably changing the difficulty of encounters. The dragons are the most frustrating and difficult to master, but it is always possible to just grind levels until you get lots of upgrades, or buy your way through the upgrades. No purchase is necessary, but players should strongly consider buying something to support the developer. In an era of numerous and poorly made Chinese ripoffs, it is a pleasant surprise to find a good tactics game with what seems to be entirely original IP. The closest game of this genre that I can think of is Uniwar. However, it is pretty obvious that it is not a reskin or clone by any measure. The mechanics are simple enough to make for fast-paced games, but complex enough to create interesting tactical scenarios. The progression through levels is consistent. I have not gotten stuck in any grind, although some of the levels seemed disproportionately hard. Usually not more than one per legion, though. The economics are well balanced sufficiently dense to motivate map control and reward even modest gains in ground. The hero system adds a tactical dimension without being OP. I can't imagine a more complex game being fun to play on a mobile device, but a simpler game would just not be as interesting. It's a brilliant design all around, and has beautiful, high-quality chibi style art normally only seen in high-production cash grabbers. The maps are large enough to produce lengthy plays from 30 minutes to a few hours. I don't really have the patience for much more than that, and limiting the game length avoids the need to load a lot of game context when the real world intrudes for a while and you have to come back to it later. Some of the encounters can get very dense and complex to optimize, but most of them can be resolved fairly quickly once you learn the unit strengths. The population cap helps limit the game to manageable army sizes. Please note that this game also exists for Apple devices and is available on Steam, but those versions are an entirely different, new, upgraded game. I bought the Apple and Steam versions to play on my other devices, but noticed that they play quite differently. The Steam version is marketed as a "4X strategy" game, and mostly fits the bill. It introduces fog of war, multiple deep tech trees (economic, military, unit, hero), and a much bigger emphasis on hero units and development. The economic layer is much deeper, with choices to be made for each castle, and the strategic points on the map have more diversity in their value. It's a fun game, but much larger in scope and play effort, not to mention learning curve. I love the Android version because it has a small, tight scope. This game knows what it is, doesn't pretend to be more than that, but executes almost flawlessly on all points. The one caveat I'll give is that I have not played the multiplayer at all. I'm not interested in multiplayer myself, but I've probably put a few hundred hours into it just playing through the campaign, and still haven't burned out like I do on so many other games which lack depth. I'm just beginning the hard levels, but have the upgrades to make them a fair encounter. I think getting enough upgrades to do the Hell mode will involve some grinding, but at this point, the tactical variety makes replays fairly interesting. I think this is the best tactics game on Android, with no close competitors. For strategy, you have Polytopia and Hexonia, but those have more of a Civ level scope, with more focus on economics and tech than combat, per se. This game is 90% combat tactics.
