LEGO® Star Wars™: TCS

The game I grew up with, the controlls are annoying if you aren't using a controller but everything else is the good, I did encounter some bugs though. In the cantina sometimes in a level selector with all the doors for episodes I encountered a visual error. I don't know how to post pictures here but basically it looked as if the screen was broken, black lines shoting from one point. There could be more but I haven't played long enough.

Great game. I used to play this game all the time and replaying will ve even better (or so I thought). When the game first turned on I spent about 5 minutes waiting for it to download which is understandable since this was originally for the PS2, but when I got to the cantina hub world, the buttons and joy stick icons didn't show up and I could do anything. This games was great when I first played it, but minus 2 stars because of that glitch.

I've been playing this game since 2015 and it had downs but it also has it ups it's an amazing game but it needs some fixes like on chapter 4 episode 4 a new hope when press all of big the buttons they do turn green but the smaller ones stay red and I've been trying to work my way around it but I can't so if you could fix that and some other things that would make the game better and easier for all of us. Still broken.

I like playing this on my xbox and I thought downloading this wouldn't be a bad idea, it's a good game and all but there's some things that bug me. The icons on the top left when you play look really messy, The hearts on bosses have lines next to them, The shooting sounds are glitches, and the characters don't make any noise! (Even in cutscenes)

When I first downloaded it I was a little bit disappointed because some levels weren't playable. Now when i boot up the game I got this issue where I saw no reviews complain about this, but basically my game was stuck on the loading screen. When it reaches (3/3) 10.74% it basically wont budge I tried re-installing and troubleshooting to no avail, to the recent update I have hope that they might fix this, if not then atleast a reply or something can happen.

I hate to give this game a bad review, but there are many issues in this version. At least on my device, wireless controllers don't seem to work. Although the touch controls work well, this is still disappointing. Next, the red/green switches (necessary to beat many levels) don't work at all, from what I last played. I say that because, as of the latest update, I can't open the app at all, it just crashes! I will gladly update to 5 stars once the bugs are fixed (or if WB makes a Switch port).

It's a shame that the game won't show on screen controllers at all, years ago I tested the demo and they were there, now that I finally decided to buy it, I can't move my character. There's an option that will show "Controller Connected" when I clearly don't have any. I will change my rating when it's fixed, otherwise I will have to refund it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY guys!

I praise the devs for finally fixing those crashes, however that's all they did and never addressed the other issues that hard been present in the game. The audio is unoptimized and buggy, for instance the astromech (R2-D2, and RP7) whenever they move/fly they are absurdly loud, I can't even heard the music or whats going on, same thing goes for the footsteps, blasters, jetpacks etc. Other than that the game still have those hiccups that are pretty annoying. IMO, the game is still not worth $7

Very good to be fair this game is as you remeber and then some looks very nice on a small display(device pending of course) touchscreen controls work well for most part, controller obviously better. Some graphical issues in cantina make this a 4 star otherwise played all 6 episodes without a hitch definitely recommend and bar some expensive extras and characters would have been 5 stars. Buy it worth the money .

The game itself is great, but controls are horribly delayed unless you use an external controller. Also, droid noises (especially R2) are far noisier than they ought to be. It becomes grating quickly. Unless you can handle audio imbalance and have an external controller, I don't recommend this port.

I have this on Xbox and love it, but on my device there is an issue with the controls. The game says that a controller is connected when there isn't. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, turning off Bluetooth and just about any other thing I could think of inside and outside the app. If I knew this was a potential issue I never would have spent the $7 on the app I never got to even play. I'll update this review if/when this is fixed, but until then don't spend the $7 just in case.

Update fixed some of the issues, crashes/closes when i switch apps in and out once in a while but the game is now completable. Just wish the extras wer saved everytime a game is loaded, its a bit annoying having to turn them all on, especially since the extras menu is glitched and doesnt let you swipe down.

I rarely buy apps but decided to drop the change for this one since I loved playing the originals so much as a kid. I downloaded this to an Android gaming device. The app will flash in the settings as if it recognizes the controller, but it neither responds to an external controller or provides in game controls. I wish I would have read about other people having the same problems before I wasted my money. Look elsewhere to evoke your nostalgia.

I love this game, it brings me memories from my childhood. Neverless, theres a bunch of bugs in this port, u cant play episode V do to a bug in the game that doesnt let you complete a puzzle, and u cant play completely chapter I bc it crashes in a specific part where u need to go through to proceed. Other than that the game is an incredeble port to a childhood game i loved. (Edit) new update, when i enter it stays at 49 mbs of the first packet and it crashes when it fully downloads

The game launches and it lets me select options on screen by touching them but it thinks I have a controller connected so I cannot play with touch controls and if I connect an actual controller it still doesn't work (edit: I can only play with a controller if it's connected via USB cable, but not with Bluetooth). I cannot change to touch controls for some reason

Great game but it crashes every game and it crashes everytime on the 2nd chapter episode 1 so I can't go further in the game, please fix this!! it's great to see a full replica of an old PC game! running the game off a s22 ultra so it should be able to support the game well

so many levels are bugged and unbeatable. The game crashes after each level. Those things you have to spin by pushing the green/red sided panels don't have a hit box. You walk right through them so you can't progress through any levels with them. Don't know if its just an issue on the Z fold 3 but thats my experience.

@devs pls release a fix for the phantom controller bug. On my Google Pixel 4a the game thinks a controller is connected where none is... The button is greyed out and the menu doesn't give an option to change anything. Neither reinstalling nor emptying the cache helps with the issue. I really wanna play this masterpiece again :(

Okay I'm so happy you guys updated this game and fixed the bugs that were game breaking, but please fix these bugs: subulba's head is broken on the second cuts cutscene on the podrace level, also on the podrace level the tie fighter sign is up high instead of on the gate. Please update the battle droid character models and add two player local wifi. Thanks for fixing this amazing game!!

With the last update this game is better optimized, only one time the game crashed and after a while I finished the first chapter, beware that is not perfect but it's so much better than it was before. Thanks to the team for keeping this treasure alive.

I LOVE THIS GAME! I played it all the time as a kid and being able to play it now on mobile is fantastic! It can be a bit buggy at times but my experience personally has been decently bug free for the time being.

Be careful completing a level on free play the normal story way like getting on the ship because one time it crashed on me that way. Also shouldn't leave it running too long without closing the app because one time it was spraying weird colors after entering an episode hub door but when i closed it and reopened it it was fine Also i had been playing a while when that happened.

Game plays great so nice to have a piece of nostalgia in my pocket. Crashes occasionally but I cannot complete the first bonus level for podracing, game crashes everytime during that race.

I downloaded this game in June. It lived up to my expectations -- it was just as fun as I expected, just like the other ports of this game! Lego Star Wars: TCS fuses the first and second LSW games, and makes it better. UPDATE 3/26/22 This game is now Unplayable! On Episode 1, Chapter 5 the game crashes in the middle of the level! Ugh.

I've been reading the reviews of others while it's true, this game isn't perfect, you have to think about what your getting. This is a mobile game and it's 6 dollars. That being said. This is an an amazing game. The story is really fun and comical and the levels are very engaging and require some creative thinking to move on to the next area. There's so many characters, power ups, mini kits, and planets to explore. Very well done for what your paying for, good job guys!
