Leica DISTO™ transfer BT LE

I connected my S910 to my Samsung Note 8 phone. The app will act as a remote control for the Disto. The tiny button on the phone's screen is too small for my fingers, but I can use the stylus for this. When using a function on the Disto, only the actual measured distance is transfered. Push the = to transfer the result. I find my work proceeds quicker using a pen and paper. I will try a little longer to determine the purpose of this app. If I do, I will revise this review.

This app is literal garbage. It's an excel sheet with zero meaningful settings, and with the most hideously sized measure button in the corner makes the using experience even more vommiting. Would expect more from leica.

Very poor app Dev doesn't seem to care to address issues that users are experiencing. Poor unstable connection to disto devices (no initial BT connection on D510) try to connect through phone settings only to drop connection straight away. Now it's chewing out my batteries....useless. Fix this otherwise I will never buy another Disto again !!!

The measuring unit will measure to the thousandth of a decimal place but when it gets transferred over to the app it only displays to the hundredth of a decimal place. I need it to show every number that got recorded, is there a way to do this? also is there a way for me to just use my own spreadsheet instead of the app spreadsheet. 2-8-2018 This app had some changes done, but it's still an awful 1/5 rating. Also, when going into the Excel from settings, the menu is black characters on top of a black background. What are you guys doing. Change the character color to white text if you're using a black background or vice-versa; why does someone have to tell you this??? Please fix this app, the bluetooth connection is the only reason I and many others got this model laser measure.

Kept dropping connection. Measure button refused to work randomly. The program can be working fine and then suddenly refuse to function with no charge in how I've been operating it.

Install it in my Experia Z,..sadly this app can't work to remotely trigger the measurement although I have touch the button in this app. it only work to read/transfer the measurement when I hit the button directly from the Disto. Anyone can help? I also have C 100 Professional and with G*m Measure&Document app in Xperia Z, it works flawlessly...

Creates spreadsheet alright, but won't open my own sheets. I would like to capture the data directly into my custom excel sheet, but the app doesn't recognize them.

Works with Nexus 4 in android 4.4, but not with Nexus 10 that just updated to Android 5.0. Don't know if this is Nexus 10 or 5.0 as my D510 arrived today and Android updated yesterday :( On the Nexus 4, when using an indirect tool it is the indirect data rather than the interpreted value that is transferred (e.g. the hypotenuse length and angle rather than the horizontal distance. I'd like it to work with my Nexus 10 really.

Amazingly, this is even less effective between xperia z android 4.3 and disto 510 than the "full" version. Starts scanning, fails to connect with disto, although it does seem to be trying to connect with my parrot hands free car kit! HOWEVER (july 14) if this and full version installed as well, seems to find disto and is able to transfer data. Golly, almost a product

Would be great if I could link to Google drive But nice to be able to use my D510 on android
