I did not have a great review, but I got a response telling me how to fix the issue. My app works now and my points were transferred over. However, I still think that we should be allowed to use our member cards and not forced to use an app. Everyone is not tech savvy nor do they want to fill their phone space up with apps when they can swipe a card.
Slow, and unresponsive. Buttons need to be activated up to 10 times before the respond. Last time I used it, the app took so long take my order that the pickup time was not sufficient. The app told me, but didn't take me back to the pickup time. It rejected my card that I've used many times within the app. I deleted the card, reentered it, and it worked. This app was not ready for release when it was. This reflects badly on Lenny's and its costing them a lot of money in lost sales.
terrible! This app was broke from the beginning! There's no short cut to upload your birthday. You literally have to go back to the year you were born if you want the correct date. None of my rewards were switched over. It's been an hour so far and still no verification code sent to my phone. I'm just done and I hate losing my Rewards credit! A$$wipes!
Absolutely terrible. Don't know if the switch from cards to just the app if just genuine incompetence from upper management or a way to wipe people's rewards, bit either way it is horrendous decision. App doesn't work either. Waited 30 minutes for the verification code to send and still no luck.
Just what I want. To have to install a sandwich app on a phone. Not like I could use that space for anything. The card loyalty system is no longer used because of this. Also, because they didn't find my phone number on file, all my previous rewards points are just gone. They can only link them through the phone number, so if, as a suspect, a clerk took down the wrong phone number when you signed up for the card, its gone. I used to go to Lenny's at least once a month. I doubt Ill ever come back.
Was going to try to use the app for the 1st time and it looks pretty straight forward. But seems to be missing the option to "toast" the sub and didn't see any option for a note field either for special instructions.
App will not work properly if your ad blocker is activated. I use Blokada, which i have to turn off to get this app to work. Most apps do not have this issue; they at least allow basic functionality. Lenny's needs to find a developer that doesn't make such a handicapped application, or release a new version without this problem.
Just installed the app. It asked for the phone number associated with the rewards card I had so it could send a verification code. The phone number associated with the rewards card is a landline which obviously cannot receive codes. Any way to get my points back? I know there were a few free sandwiches on the rewards card. If I've lost them, you've lost me as a customer. It was much easier to just give the cashier a phone number. Don't know why you had to change.
Old rewards at my local franchise: free sub combo after ten purchases of equal or greater value. New reward under the claws of corporate control: free sub combo after accumulating 100 points, which appears to be around 30+ combo purchases. Well, back to Firehouse for me... Edit in response to Lenny's: You're right, the 100 pt reward isn't even a combo, it's only the sandwich. Our old reward was a full combo after 10 combo purchases. Your other offers are free sodas, that cost you 10 cents. Sad.
its was easier to use the card. I had 1 free sub already on the card but couldn't use it cause yall switch it to the app. it will not transfer my old points or sub. instead of just giving the cashier the card, I have to tell them that I want the points and have to give them my phone number. I just dont understand why yall changed it. you fixed a problem that never existed. love the sandwiches but the app is sad.
Saddened! I had to change to the new app just put out by Lenny's. It took 3 people 30 minutes to get my old points transferred to the new app. Only one person at the store could help us and another customer who was also having difficulty with the new app. The first time we tried to enter our info for the new app, it refused to let us submit it. We tried again, and this time the info screen instructed us to put in +1 before our phone number. It did not give us this instruction the first time!
FALSE ADVERTISING No, you don't get a free combo. You have to buy stuff for them to honor the offer that explicitly says, "free combo when you download the app." I deliver for dd, and I went to a lenny's for a delivery and saw the ad. So I got the app and was disappointed that I had been lied to. If the ad said "bogo," then I'd have become a customer, but the blatant lie made sure that I will never be their customer and that I won't deliver for them again.
had a small problem getting points changed over since I have a different phone number than when I first signed up with the card. I will say the app is less convenient overall, as a customer, but they helped me get my points back.
Get a email for a free sub on my account. It telks me to log in and migrate my information then when I try it says "email already taken." Of course it is, it's my email. Update 2/26/2020: just tried using the app again. We couldn't create our sandwiches because all of the condiments aren't listed. It was quicker to just call in.
App didn't work right before it was upgraded. Now it doesn't work at all. I've reinstalled it 5 times and each time I try to use it, it just closes and says "App has stopped working".
Too young to join the app. Doesn't ask for my age. Oh. Also I'm 27. Edit: Emailed them and they fixed the issue in 1 day. Works great now! Edit2: App now asks for my phone number every time. Worked fine for awhile. Now just spits back html code at me in error after I type it in and will not work at all.
Wonderful sub shop. Horrible app. Less than useless. I cannot migrate my old rewards using either the app or the website. App gets stuck trying to generate a verification code to migrate my rewards. Help uses the wrong email address. Guess I won't participate in Lenny's reward program anymore.
If you enter the wrong zip code by accident when using a card theough the app then you cannot then you can't correct it and your money will be on hold u till your bank or cash app decides to put your money back on there. Please do like other apps when this issue come up to allow a person to update their information so they won't have to wait for their money to be added back.
Can't say much for the functionality of the app other than implementation and point conversion sucks. Went in today expecting the free sandwich I earned last visit and was told I can't use the card and needed to download the app. I downloaded it and transferred my points only to find I'm now 30 points away (basically need to spend $30) from my next reward. Not cool Lennys
Log in was easy and I have enough points for a free sub! The only downside so far is that my store is the only one that you can't order online or through the app. UPDATE: it is working now for my store! I used it, and it worked great, I even got my free sub to go with my awesome philly salad.
I was able to logon with no issue and convert my account with ease. App is smooth and comes with a free chip and drink. Looking forward to more benefits or better ways to earn more points.
unable to transfer acct / submit button doesn't work after entering required info. Thanks developer...it works and account migrated successfully. Changed to 5 stars!
This app is garbage. It won't send a verification code. And even though I signed up years ago for a loyalty card I still haven't received a single birthday sandwich. And now I can't rollover / migrate to this version of the app. Dev team needs to rethink this pathetic app.
Awesome app. Easy to use. Gives times available and which stores are open. Minor nitpick is the redemption of rewards and how you have to be instore to redeem some. Should be another way to verify. Other than that I love the Lenny's app.
I love Lennys .. However it has caught my eye that when I order online mushrooms are not an option...I have to call the store just to add... Please can you guys fix this so ordering online will be easier please!!!
Your app does not work... When you try to enter phone number it will not continue. Can't move points and can't register. I better not loose my points!!!
This app is not that great. I would like to see nutritional info for what I order, not 450-1300 calories. What good is that? You can learn how to do this by looking at the chik fil a app. They give comprehensive nutrition info based on what you order.
Lenny's is by far my most favorite restaurant in the world. I just love the food and the employees are the best. I have in the last two time's had a problem with getting my order made correctly. Once a salad and another time my sandwich.
The app is somewhat confusing. I ordered a sandwich combo but it showed up as a sandwich only. Had to cancel order and start over. Worked on second try.
Outstanding! I've eaten Lenny's Subs for over 20 years and it's still a treat for me to pick up one or two for myself and, if someone else is with me, usually one sub for them. If I get a beverage, I prefer the unsweetened tea. I love the quality & consistency of the food. It's always good and it's always the same! I love the lettuce!!! I don't know what kind of lettuce it is but the flavor is unique. Always crisp! There's always plenty of meat & cheese on the sub and the other ingred. fresh!
