Was so excited to try out this app because my life is fraught with security issues and when I activate it and hit the button to turn the cap on, NOTHING. Probably phishing spam. Don't install. Be smarter than I was.
AMAZING!!!! But ONE PROBLEM> WHY aren't we able to edit the Error message?! The default message makes it far too obvious that an app is simply controlling the use of the camera. If you're going to make one message only let it say "ERROR: Camera Unavailable" or "ERROR: Camera Not Found!" Add this feature and it gets five stars and a solid donation!!!
Wonderful! At last I found the perfect camera blocker! It does exactly what I need, in a simple, fast and efficient way. Highly recommended to avoid undesired camera access from the locked screen.
I was skeptical at first but this has blocked every possible instance of camera use so it's well worth having. I do wish the lens cap had some colour options though as I find the orange too bright most of the time.
Good app, the camera app, the Google Lens app and the scanner app all started malfunctioning and it's all because of this app. It's not a problem but admin privilege. Camera and Scanner were showing errors but Lens was having another problem which made it take forever to load. And if you want security, install Smart Lockscreen Protector to block the notification area, in which there is the quick settings menu. Then lock the phone. Then lock this app using an app lock.
Simple and effective. Could we have an optional notification to show that the camera is disabled? I keep having to check. (Yes, I know the widget changes, but I'm looking for something more discreet. Also, I can add fingerprint protection to the app, but not to the widget.)
My favorite App for blocking all my Android's Cameras. - I've tried various others over the past few years and this one, by far, works best. - We all saw that revealing photo of Mark Zuckerberg standing in front of that piece of cellophane tape was covering his computer's webcam. - OK then, enough said. - I would honestly recommend this Camera Blocking App to ANYONE! - It's not just easy to implement, it's actually flawless. - Thanks to the Developer.
Absolutely great. Would absolutely love to see this app for the microphones as well. Your app is basic and works great. The drop down quick button is also amazing for quick on and off toggles.
Love this app. To bad that Google is brutally forcing us to use their software and not allowing Len Cap to work on Android 10 & 11 versions by not allowing Lens Cap needed permission. Google is so close, pushing the boundaries of monopolizing the Internet that its redeculas. They need more and larger fines. I never believed in a "New World Order", then along came Google (and FB)!
Works great. It would be better if I could just disable the back camera only and the front camera is on or vice versa.
Very easy to use application with simple steps to activate it. 4 stars just because I had issues with application crashing, this was fixed later with an update.
5 stars. Works great, no ads, does not ask for unneeded or intrusive permissions. [ Caution: newest versions of Android OS may stupidly reduce functionality of useful apps like Lens Cap. Shame on you, Google.]
i was using this app until last day when i updated my MIUI. It was working very good. But i am facing issue for using this app.The lens cap was on before updating my mobile. My Redmi mobile is MIUI 12.5.8 stable with Android 11 currently after update . Now whenever i am using any app that uses camera i am getting error (cannot connect to camera). Lenscap has no effect on this issue. i uninstalled it but still the error. Please help in resolving the issue.

Super useful app. Integrates easily. Runs stable. In milliseconds switches access of all apps to your phone's inegrated cams on and off.
Works well. But it could be improved with two separate lens caps. One for the front facing camera, one for the rear facing camera. I'd just like to disable the front facing camera
Previous update keeps force closing the app and make it useless to use. The widget doesn't work either now. Please fix otherwise uninstalling as you simply can't use it.
I like the app. It works fine with all apps😊. But it is not working with any cloned apps😔. Apart from that, this is great effort from lens cap team...!❤️.
Are you going to update your app so it works with Android 11??? Ok, but now my camera no longer working how can I fix this please. The app had lens cap on, and I had my android update to 11. No my camera stop working. Please help.
Great App it does the job and is efficient. And for those who state it doesn't let you uninstall, go back to your admin setting and uncheck this app from your device through admin. uninstall completed
This app actually does what it says... Works perfectly fine on my S8. The tool bar feature is exactly what I was looking for, I Have Got No Complaints 😊

THE BEST CAMERA DISABLING APP I EVER FOUND GOOD LUCK FOR APP DEVELOPERS. DO MUCH MORE APPS IT HAVE USE FUL. NOTIFICATIONS AND ALSO VERY LOW NETWORK IS NEEDED FOR DOWNLOADING THIS APP. The widget makes this app: it's too large but also renders a notification icon unnecessary. No advanced settings but that's okay.
Probably stole my information sadly, I will be consulting legal help if needed. I had to deactivaye my admin and that me. Device administrator is a built-in security feature of Exchange that allows the device to be wiped remotely if lost or stolen. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS. VERY SKETCHY
This app failed to disable camera on some particular apps. I'm using oppo a9 2020 every app in this mobile had don't access to camera when lenscap on but Whatsapp cloner has access to camera even this app turned on as device manager on lenscap on... Plz fix this bug soon otherwise this app is good
I like it! However, I discovered that, if I put the device to sleep and turn it back on, the widget stops working. So, I have to go to the app itself and click "take cap off", and the widget works again. This might not be the case for other devices. Mine is a Huawei Honor X2. If the widget would work all the time, I'd give this app 5 stars.
