LEO dictionary

It's taken me 2000 years to create an account. Yet ,I haven't been successful. The app keeps turning down my email,sayingmy emailisnt correct. My email is valid though. I really got stressed up JUST trying to create an account. Let me go try my luck elsewhere

The GUI feels like coming straight from the 2000' ;) and I would love a one time payment to get rid of the adds. But other than that, excellent ! 👍

I use this app everyday multiple times for my English teaching. I love that it often provides a range of field specific answers and parts of speech. For example, same word where possible as a noun, verb, adjective and some context. The only thing is it only allows one word searches. German has many collocations whereas in English it's two or three words, which are not possible to search together. Otherwise a fantastic app.

Well done dictionary app. I use it all the time and being able to check conjugations on the fly is very useful for beginners. My only issue is sometimes when I search the sesrch screen will go away and instead of showing me the results it'll show me another search screen with my previous search. Hopefully that bug gets fixed soon but it's still great. It helped me a lot in my study abroad to germany.

Awesome application. I was wondering whether it would be possible in the trainer to be quizzed on all words of a certain word list. The application seems to support this: "Set the maximum number of words you want to be quizzed on in one drill session. If you would like to be quizzed on all words, leave the default setting all". But there's actually no way to select that "all" and the max limit is set to 100 words. Thanks.

I love the app and use it all the time. The lower banner ad is, however, horrible. I don't mind having to look at advertisements to receive decent content, but these ads flash every 1.5 seconds and are so distracting that it's difficult to concentrate and use LEO for longer than a few minutes.

This is probably my most used app, but of late, it's been super slow & takes forever to translate each word. Sometimes even just suddenly removes my search screen, without providing any results.. Hopefully is resolved soon. Am wondering if it's due to everybody using more internet, during these stay-at-home periods.. Still highly recommend but! :)

Why does the widget have to be five slots wide and have all kinds of buttons on it? All I want is a little bar where I tap on it, then type in a word and get the translation displayed. This takes up too much space to use it. And why use the app at all then? I see no difference in placing the app icon somewhere in contrast to placing a shortcut to the homepage somewhere.

The app in itself is great. The problem are the constant add in the bottom. You cannot leave the app opened since the constant blinking of the ads will prevent you from being attentive. The worst is that making a donation do not remove the ads...

What a really great dictionary with useful grammar, practical phrases and the most standard pronunciation in among apps I've experienced! Moreover the app is suitable for most learner's levels even beginners or elementary learners. Although it sometimes takes a little bit long to load, I extremely love this app anyway! It is the best dictionary I have ever seen. I have downloaded it for German, but it is also helpful for other languages like - French, Spanish etc. The app layout is awesome and easy to use. There is also a pronunciation tool which will tell you the pronunciation of any word in English as well as in the language the word belongs to. It will also show you conjugations, different forms of the word and phrases related to it. You can also take free online language courses.

The perfect dictionary, you have a lot of language possibilities. Also you can ask for a word and it shows you the significance, how to pronounce it by audio, the declination, how to use it in an example and also have discutions around the same word.

First of all, really good so. I have some things to request. Maybe the words in the lists can be categorized by their kinds and this would be great. And arranging the word list should be simpler. Over all, great app.

I really like the app and use it frequently, BUT recently (since a few days) it has slowed down a lot. Every word I look up, I have to wait 3 seconds for the app to respond. I have a Google Pixel 3a. Any ideas from the developers why it might suddenly be running so slowly?

Really appreciate the app for it's trainer function! Some suggestions for improvement of the TRAINER: -include possibility to delete words out of the trainer itself and not only out of word lists -When adding a new word list, please somehow mark the words you have already included in other word lists - add a possibility to create a new word list out of all NO's you got in the "reveal solution" learing method. Because otherwise my word lists are getting way to long and i don't really know wich words I actually know and can cut out

It's a great app, but I could suggest that they should chance a little bit the interface because it's not so user friendly, things like the bottoms are too small and the colors just annoying me without been disrespectful, but for everything else just great

I love using this app. I tried using many other app dictionaries but would always come back to Leo. The reason why I'm trying to move away from Leo is because the UI is so extremely outdated and not user friendly. However, I mainly use it for German <> English and Leo by far has the best results. Please consider working and updating this app

Good app, but since a few days the app has become slower, every time I search for a word there is a long time of waiting or just an internet error, instead the webpage is all ok and fast. But anyways Leo is a wonderful german dictionary.

I am using Leo on the PC a lot and like it. But the app... You are bombarded with adverts instead of getting translations done. You guys should be more subtle. I uninstalled after 1 minute, unbearable

Excellent dictionary app. Only improvement could be that in examples they should provide more routine ones that will used in daily life instead of some extraordinary ones that are used only in exceptional situations

An easy to use app but I am getting a lot of trouble because it is taking forever to load words and it is not loading any Audio Files. Kindly Resolve.

I've used this app for several years now and I don't know where I'd be without it. It had a significant share of my process of learning English, helped me through homework in school and with assignments later in college and a made it easier for me to build friendships with Americans. The dictionary is really good for learning German, but unfortunately I can't use the trainer option, because words I save don't appear in the trainer for some reason. Besides that- great job!

Great app, great website. Any chance of a search widget to be place on the android homepage? like the Google search bar widget? Also possibility of integration, when copying text to clipboard, the option to search meaning on Leo?

Sell your data or have half a screen overlay. And no, I'm not paying monthly for something I'll use twice a year. K. Bye. To be clear, I'm not against ads, I'm against ads that steal my data.

I completely do not understand this app. I was of the understanding it taught grammar and had a dictionary, but there's nothing in the dictionary. Do I have to build it myself? The app is baffling. You really have to know considerable amount of German and there doesn't seem to be a grammar rules taught. Signing up was a nightmare.

"Start Learning" option does not appear always when you select the collected words. The trainer could be designed better
