Been a while that the app doesn't connect with the dash cam on wifi. Edit: found a working app from the same dev, LuckyCam. My camera bought on aliexpress now connects to this app. Devices used s10+. Still this app needs an edit to redirect users who cant connect with Android Pie.
Cannot works with Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Wifi connected to the device but software unable to connect to the DVR. Works only once before the latest update. After latest update did not works
WiFi connected but the app says no connection. Not certain if it's Tesla software issue or the app. Both of my car and the app is already running on latest updates. disappointing ...
I understand most of you aren't computer geeks but this was easy - when you cannot connect to camera, just disable any other network like gsm-data because android will route any connect attempt through that network and effectively you cannot connect to camera by WiFi even when WiFi is connected. It's android problem, not the app. As usual Google designed something which isn't ready to use (Java vm with networking by Linux below), get used to it.
Using Note 9, android pie, could not connect to app. Lower versions of android work well. Please update! EDIT: 21th may. Found from the same developer an app called lercenker (or coolcam), with one C, and it works for android pie.
Doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy 10+ please kindly update for compatibility. Works fine without any issues on my old phone Galaxy 7.
The worst, I've wasted hours. Galaxy 10 shows wifi and I put in password but says it's not connected. How about an update for so many upset customers.

Only worked once then never connects if you buy any camera requiring this app to use it just return it straight away there is no after sale support and no one replies to problems

Lercenker cannot connect to Camera by wifi. Used Luckycam is better

Broken in Android Pie - can't connect to camera even with WiFi connected to cam. iPhone version works fine. :(
Does the job for me. Can take a while to connect to the camera and takes ages to download a file, but I think that's the camera. Not had any problems. Do wish it didn't use WiFi and being connected to the camera means I can't use mobile data (for Sat nav)
Got the camera to connect to Wi-Fi 2 times now it just gets stuck halfway through connecting
Refuses to connect. Just gets stuck halfway, eventually times out.
Fist time connecting through wifi went pretty smooth but haven't gotten connection ever since.
Cheap but worldclass dash cam's performance . Easy to connect its wifi to mobile phone. Highly recommended.
Can't share videos. Always get error message. Also, can't find the video files in my file Explorer Astro. Where are they kept? . Thank you

If you are here because you bought a Podofo Dash Camera. Save yourself time and money, and just return it.
Only ever connected once. Wifi finds the device then trys to connect but fails. Advice please.

While I am able to now regularly connect my app to the dash cam to update the time it is quite labor intensive and should be improved. I am concerned as well that the times where I do not connect and set time that the video files created will get deleted out of order as the time is incorrect. This is what I believe needs to be updated in the app and dashcam firmware to make this product viable. 1. App should be written to run in background 2.App/process should know when connected to dashcams Wifi 3. App/process sends cached config info as well as phone time/date to dashcam without opening application 4.WiFi should automatically turn off 1 minute after configuration takes place unless app is opened 5. WiFi should turn back on for x time once x button is pressed on the dashcam so app can reconnect if need be
I would like to see this app able to connect to in my case vodafones data as wifi is only accessable for me when I am home. If I can access my data it would mean I can connect anytime to the camera mind you I dont have the camera yet and wont get it unless my terms are met and I am sure everyone else would like to access the camera anytime too
App seldomly connects to dashcam and time not accurate unless app is connected.
Unfortunately the app is not supported on Android Pie. Even though I can see the Wi-Fi broadcast of my camera and can connect to it, the camera does not show under the Connected Devices inside the app. Used another android device with an older version of android and I'm able to see the camera wifi, connect to it and configure the camera through the Lerccenker app. Dev please update to support newer version of Android.
