Letterboxd

I really like the app and the functionality in general. It's smooth and works well mostly. However, there are some strange things here and there such as having to hold on a graph to see the number of films. The issue there is that my finger is in the way of the number then so it's not any good unless I record my screen. There is also randomly massive slowdown of the app that I can only fix with closing it. I've used the app on an S20fe.

Since upgrading my phone, the "Stats" feature opens in a pop-up browser rather than in-app. This means some of the in-app functionality is lost, and I'm also being subjected to ads despite paying a fee for the service. Disappointed, as I've been really enjoying this feature the last few months prior to my phone upgrade.

Great concept of an app - I used to just keep a running list of movies and TV shows that I have watched on my notes app but this keeps everything much more organized. A few things that would make this app better: 1) Adding a Friends section to more easily add and access my friends' profiles and activity 2) Making it easier to pick a date; currently if I have to pick the date again it takes me back to Today by default so I have to scroll once again for the correct date.

I would create a list and then hit the back button to review it and it'll ask me again if I wish to save it. I just wanted to look at it why am I back in the editing? So I mistakenly deleted my new list TWICE. How to fix this issue once the person saves their list take them automatically out and to their profile page where all their list are listed. This prevents mistakenly going back and deleting all their work. Just take em out after they hit save.

This is quite honestly my favorite app, the design, the way they set up easy to find films...brilliant, I simply love it but I had to take off a star because after a while on the app it starts freezing and I eventually have to come out of the app and go back in, hope that will be fixed soon.

This App is perfect! One thing i would love to see is: The option to follow actors/producers/directors/writers! Please add this. Thank you. but overall a well designed/build app for movie enthusiasts. In My opinion the best :)

As a movie fanatic this is the best app I've ever come across. I've been searching for an app like this for a long time with maintaining list of movies I have watched and being able to review them with unlimited words. Watchlists and favourites option are also great. Some flaws like unable to remove watched date once you've entered by mistake and unable to remove a movie from watched list can be corrected. Need to be able to undo some mistakes that we might tend to do as humans.

The "Remember for this list" option under Sort By no longer works. It has to be set everytime I open a list. In app links are working, but I've noticed that links that point to the detail view of a list open a web/desktop version the list instead of an in app detail view.

Actually a great app. Really simple and intuitive UI. Docking 1 star because searching for lists is a nightmare and tags don't really work as they should. Unironically made watching movies exciting for me again. Good job!

Great app! Has a diary feature where you can list the movies you watch along with dates/reviews/a star system. Helps me remember what I've watched along with what I thought about it. I really have no issues with this app. No bugs or crashes. You can also read other people's reviews and see trailers. Pretty much also like IMDB. Lists cast, director, etc. Truly a great experience.

Not bad. One thing I have noticed is that, when going down the rabbit hole of related movies the app begins to lag and heats up my phone quite a lot, an issue I don't have in similar apps (IMDB for example)

This app is pretty and works really well. I happily pay for pro membership so I am notified when films on my watchlist come to streaming services in my region. Best of all, the yearly subscription fee isn't charged automatically - you are notified and can renew it manually if and when you choose. Keep up the great work whānau. Can't wait for more features.

The app is painfully slow, from searching titles to opening them. When adding to the list it doesn't even register it at first. My internet is fast and all settings on the phone are fine

Good platform but the UI feels like it could be a little more modernized. Also the app currently freezes every time I try to write a review or edit a list description.

Can't even get the app to load, won't let me create a new account...I have uninstalled/reinstalled, turned phone on/off etc. Just getting the loading circle constantly. Samsung 21ultra, updated software etc

Largely decent, but some improvements could be made: The "Save on this device" option for lists forgets what you chose the second you leave the list. Would be great to have a search feature for the diary so I could easily see the last time myself or someone else logged a certain film Serializd has a feature where you can recommend films to people you follow and who follow you. Would be really cool to have the ability to send recommendations to people like on Serializd.

I have a notification and when I open the app there's nothing that tells me what it refers to. When I try to add favorite movies, I select the film then nothing pops up in the blank fields meant for them. The UI/UX/design could use some improvement just navigation, wise. When you search for and tap on a movie, the full synopsis should be visible with the option to collapse it, not the other way around. Trailers should be embedded within the app as opposed to a link to YouTube.

This app WAS amazing, I guess I hadn't used it for about a week, but when I went back on a coupe hours ago, it signed me out of my account. To add insult to injury, when I searched up mu name, my account came up, and said it was somebody else's.

Its good overall, but recently android app doesnt show cast and crew pictures, althou it used to. It shows only initials of cast and crew. Cache and data cleaning didnt help.

Good app, I use it with my partner however I do find it sad that we can't find constructive criticism/opinions about the movies on the comments. Everyone makes fun/puns even ofensive comments. It's not very helpful if you are looking for some personal info/opinion about the movies. I would appreciate if there would be a way to avoid seeing these kind of comments.

I have this on my computer and its great but the app has a few issues mainly actualy writing and editing reviews is a pain but other than that its ok.

what the hell is happening to my letterbox, its always loading when i opened it and no more films are showing up just always loadings.. come on man! all of my watchlist are all over there!! fix it

I love Letterboxd. The only thing that could make it better is if they started adding TV series and not just movies.
