Was going to spend $10 on something I could download for free. The developer really deserves 5 stars for that. Apart from saving me money, the app is pretty straightforward and accurate.

Did not know I had to pay for it after a few uses

This app is worth more than the $.99, so why say it's free, get me to install it and go to the trouble of calibrating it, only for me to end up out on a site with no Internet access and suddenly the damn thing doesn't work? Then, since I figured I must have just forgotten that it was a trial version, I drove to where I could get (expensive) Internet access, paid for the upgrade, and it's useless until I recalibrate using the TOOLS THIS APP REPLACED! But, now you have my money, so I guess you win.

When you calibrat the app has the horizontal (right to left) mixed up with vertical but still works well a handy thing for small or short things you need to level. Or you need a long straight board to rest your phone on.

I have never given 5 stars to an app but this one deserves it! Does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it really well.

The app is good, but it's a trial version, not a free version. The trial expires after only a short time.

I hardly write any reviews and yet I like this ruler so much that I had to spend time putting in the good words here! Simple and effective, nothing better than that.

To correctly calibrate the ruler length for the Samsung Galaxy S7, use measurement 11.203125 cm which equals 4"6.5/32 inches. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Does what it says with no ads

The description did not mention it was a trial. The app worked but now I am asked to pay. Normally I would buy an app if I like it and the dev was up front about trial / free.

Jas. K. Dec 6, 2015

It's free for 30 seconds then the level stops working and your asked to buy it.

Der. C. May 16, 2015

The screen height for my Nexus 5 in cm is 11.049, but after entering that, the inches measure was off by 1/8th of an inch. Not sure what was going on with that, but makes the app fairly useless. I gave it 3 stars since I didn't get a chance to test the level function, and because the app looked pretty nice overall.
