Lexathon® word jumble

I've had this game for years, installed over a series of different devices as I've upgraded (and I don't do that often). The interface is really simple, no annoying graphics, just a challenging word game that passes the time. The only thing that would really improve it, would be the ability to select the dictionary. Both US and UK spellings are included but I often miss the US spellings. Now that phones have moved on, maybe the dictionary can be upgraded to use a 3rd party source.

Okay - this is my all time fav game for the past 6 or 7 years. It is my go-to for building my vocabulary while also being my stress relief. All of a sudden it has stopped working - Can SOMEONE help? I've uninstalled 3 times and tried anew - can't even finish a game and it just stops working. I'm having withdrawals and cannot figure out what's wrong - HELP!

This is a terrific game. I really thought I would not like the timer but it is totally fair and it does make it fun to play. I also like the low light in this game. Also no ad interference, there is hardly any. Runs smoothly too. It really is amazing how many words you can conjure up. Makes me feel good when the list gets longer. I love it. And thanx a bunch for the fun‼️🤠❤️💋

Challenging and fun. Like.others have said, I like that there are no horns and whistles. It is an awesome brain exercise. Added note: I have been playing this game for about a month. Overall I love it. My only complaint is that it often will not accept words that are correct and also allows words that seem to me are not.words, such as "anti". Haven't looked it up, but I think it is just a prefix. And it.is just one example.

Fiendishly difficult, addictive and excellent game with unobtrusive ads. I'm a dictionary addict and good with words but so far only get about half, as it counts down to zero unless you find a new word. I would like a replay button or clear all button to try and find more later. My only complaint, if any, is that there are not enough words in their dictionary and I find I'm putting in normal words that are not found, but they do have both US and UK spelling which is great.

This is one of the few games I've liked enough to upgrade to the ad-free version, and I've gotten my money's worth since I play it daily. My only complaint -- and it's not a big one -- is there have been a handful of times when I've put in a word other games/dictionaries have accepted that this game doesn't recognize (usually slang or a less common word usage). Other than that one tiny thing, it's just about my idea of the perfect anagram game.

I love this game 😍!!! Hours fly by and my nerves and stress are gone. I can't put it down. I tried the other two games in the play store very similar to this one and realized that I actually found a word game I like. I love the settings options you have like how many words maximum to find and with or without timer. I never get bored and there are so many nine letter combos I could probably play this game for years and never lose interest. Growing my vocabulary. Awesome! 👍

This is a great game but for 3 issues: 1. The dictionary is very limited and inconsistent. Rather use OSW or Websters or Oxford or some other complete dictionary. 2. The original TARGET game does not allow plurals or words ending in S. 3. The game needs additional 9 letter words for the challenges. At present the same words repeat on a random cycle. This is a bad flaw.

EDIT:I do see many replies from the dev, so I'm willing to give this one more chance, albeit conditionally. 1)What dictionary do you use to determine acceptable words - TWL06, SOWPODS, only words on both lists, what? Cause it seems to leave out very common words at times yet list some I've never heard of in the "Unfound" tab at the end. 2)The freezing issue has to go tho. Deal breaker! PS-The ads are fine btw; I don't know why people are on a witch hunt about it. Better than most free games tbh.

I love this game almost as much as Word Hero. I put the settings so I can come back and try to get more words. It breaks my heart that I can't afford the other version and give you techies money for excellent boards, etc. It's been on the top row of my phone for 6 years. Thankyou .

Love this, just like a game in a local paper. Exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate the fact I can add/remove words to/from dictionary at my descretion too. However, I find rows of a word list hard to skim and was wondering the possibility of having a toggle for columns instead. . . +ads free purchased

I love this game! I've been playing it for years now. It's always been great! I do have an issue with the app when I downloaded it to my newest phone that I never experienced before. The smiley/frowny face that indicates if I'm right or wrong doesn't appear, and sometimes I will enter a word multiple times that I know is a word that won't count, but then it's a missed word at the end of the game. I've never had that happen before though, so I don't know if it's the app or my phone. But overall I LOVE this game!

Simple, clean, challenging and addictive. Love the added bonus of having dictionary definitions available for those words we may not have known; and with audible pronunciation to boot! The ability to choose game size is a great feature, too!

Love this game - have played this sort of game in the newspapers too. Straightforward game play, no bells, no rewards, just encouragement and your stats. Each new word adds seconds to your time. Highly recommended.

This game challenges me to think of words & increases my vocabulary as definitions of the words are accessible. Fun to play, nice to be able to stop at any time & resume where l stopped. Thanks for providing a free version of this game since we're on a limited income.

I almost kinda love this game..🤪 except that toooo many times, to be a "fluke", I enter words that I don't get credit for!? Then I either see them listed on the Unfound List, or just Not at All! *Ex. "NEHRU"-as in a Nehru Jacket, Nowhere Listed. But there ARE words that seem Totally Non- sensical listed??!! 😕 I'll keep playing of course, but I'd like to see it looked into..maybe..so I could be 'happily' playing & NOT maybe get pissed enough, over time, to STOP PLAYING...??! 🤨

My go to word game! The simplicity of this game is what I like the most. I'm so done with all the cutesy sounds and glittery backgrounds of other word games. The downright comical sounds of this game are really refreshing.

I use to love this game. Now ads that will not close interfere with reviewing unfounded words. I find this annoying enough to stop playing the game. If this continues I will uninstall it. I will miss it but will not continue to put up with this issue!

I really love this game. It's very addictive and good for expanding my vocabulary. It would be good to have control over fonts now my eyes are getting older but the game is excellent!

I like the game and have been playing a long time. The new colors are very hard on the eyes (both options) and make me avoid playing.

I used to love this game but it is seriously broken. I just played three games where numerous words were created with letters that don't connect! What's going on?

The game is well presented and easy to use. My one gripe is that it has an occasional habit of crashing for no obvious reason. Still, I recommend.

Word fun! Many options, nice graphics, no drags or lags. Offline is great! Very few short ADS. Would recommend!

game is ok, but i dont like having to use the center letter in all words and even with volume settings off the ads do not mute.

Got fed up of words being refused but are in Oxford English Dictionary( I checked) Very frustrating knowing I and OED are right but app still does not accept them.

Some English words are not in this game; i.e. dost, trine, cine, terrorise, to name a few. Also, some words are prefixes, not complete words. However it is better than some other 9 word letter games I've tried.

Very irritating the number of simple words they leave out, and particularly when compared to some of the obscure and ridiculous words which are included.

If you're playing the game in a quiet environment with the game sounds turned down, watch out for the ads playing at full volume! Very annoying!!!
