Lexmark Mobile Print
When you are ready to print, simply share the file with Lexmark Print. When prompted, choose an available printer. If necessary, you can also add a printer through network search, QR code discovery, or by manually typing the printer IP address, host name, or URL. Lexmark Print lets you set a variety of print options, including the number of copies, two-sided printing, and the number of pages per side for each print job.
*Note: Third-party application printing requires the use of Lexmark Print Plug-in service.

Make sure your printer is supported. It took me a while to figure out my c543 is not, even though it's discovered and seems like it should work in the app. When I try to print a pdf, the job appears to complete but nothing happens. Looking at the supported printers page (in the About This App area) I see the c54x printers are not in the list. Lexmark, can you filter the supported printers in the app? Might help with your rating...
Unfortunately there is no 0 Star option. The application will not start at all in Xiaomi redmi note 8 with Android 9. In fact , is starting but displays nothing and the phone's touch is not responding. So above anything else in the screen there is the application layer and that is why touch is not responding. Pressing the home button, the touch works again. The same problem I had with One Plus 5T running Android 9. The only difference on the OnePlus there was a total white screen.
ONLY FOR PRINTING PICTURES!! The only thing you can print with this app is jpeg or png files on your phone. You can either enter the URL of the picture, take a picture with your phone, or use a picture already save on your phone. You CANNOT print .doc, .docx, PDF or any other non-basic image file. This app is useless for printing things normal people use a printer for. Lexmark won't connect to Chromebook either. Never will I EVER buy a Lexmark product again. Total piece of $hit.
it works on my samsung galaxy, but I couldn't use the app on iphone s6. I sent an email to the address provided on the app page but did not get a replay. it's annoying that I cant print from my iphone.. when you install the first time there is a screen where it says: WELCOME USE LEXMARK MOBILE PRINT... you can choose there: DATA COLLECTION (OPTIONAL) and then there is a blank START button that I can't press no matter what and there is no option to continue..
Printer is plugged into the router with wireless network defined. Phone and printer are on the same network. Windows, Linux and Mac all print to it just fine. Phone app can't seem to find it at all.
Please help !? -- my S305 is on WiFi (I can access by browser & see ink levels etc) but this App does not find the printer, neither by "search" nor if I enter the IP address. Looks like a common issue but contradicts what the App states it does !
It's a shame you can only print photos from the app and when I go through other apps to print documents I don't have an option to print in all paper sizes I want to... Other than that very helpful and works well with printer model B2338
Worked fine for 1yr then all of a sudden i got full fibre which changed the wifi connection. Despite resetting the printer and adding new password the app will not connect to the printer. I even uninstalled it and started again.. no use to me at all. Now i have to email stuff to myself to print off..
Since I got the Samsung S21 Ultra, I've had nothing but issues Printing. Constantly saying the printer is offline. Have to reset up the printer in the app, then able to print.....once then it fails again. App and/or drivers need to be updated.
Bought a new computer. I'm able to print from one app, but not from Google docs. (It perpetually says the printer is not available.) The link listed in the app description says my printer is not supported with this app, but the list on the Lexmark website says it is. What is the next step?!
It works. Scans and prints to and from your phone. This gives some new life to an older device. Warning: Do not update to latest Lexmark printer firmware. Your aftermarket toners will no longer work.
Worst app on my phone. Every time I want to use it, it cannot locate the printer. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every single time I want to print a scan from my phone. Works fine once this is done but why can't it just work like it should??
Simply not good enough. We can't print 9 out of 10 times using this app, so I'm forced to open my laptop. It consistently shows the printer offline or prints jobs half from mobile.
Garbage. Put it on multiple devices. One, it simply fails to do anything. Another, it pretends to work and then states unsupported file type - it was a jpeg! Not ready for public consumption.
Unable to print since I changed my wifi connection. Can't print from my phone app or my laptop. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, looked up possible errors, but nothing! So not satisfied with this!
Aweful. I spent the whole day trying to set up a printer, after 10 times of the same steps it finally connected. After a day the printer fell asleep and all the settings unset. So much fun. Wanna brake .
Experiencing same issues as comment below. Tried to print a picture and it printed hundreds of pages of random characters. Tried cancelling the print but keeps resuming when I press cancel!!!
its a shame when a perfectly good app gets a series of one star reviews as these then seem to generate further one star reviews, well not strictly reviews just ramts that they had failed to get instant satisfaction. This app works fine with all our phones etc (one+ 3's and Samsung tablets). Please don't be put off by the unjustified low score.
Absolute garbage. Tried to print a PDF and it printed 100 pages of random characters. My printer is an M317 which is in the list of supported devices.
Sometimes it is a wrestling match to get the output from some applications to print, but I've not failed to yet. But for a majority of apps its printing is all but seamless.
I Will never buy Lexmark again and I will persuade everyone to stop buying it. I will gift my printer to someone I hate just to let them experience the same things that happened to me. I know it sounds cruel and horrible but that's just the Lexmark experience.
Had to reinstall the old version of this app. The scan to phone feature is either gone or very difficult to find in this new version.
I just received a new lexmark MC3224.... unpacked have had a first round with getting printer set up to print from my laptop thru our wi-fi ..... I can not get it ... I've downloaded all apps.... should be simple.... but it is just plain stupid instructions.... IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNOWS THE 'TRICK' TO SIMPLY CONNECTING MY DELL LAPTOP AND LEXMARK PRINTER/SCANNER!!! I can't even find a HELP site.... So right now minus minus 5 Stars.
Unable to print from app. Printer refuses to respond aside from coming briefly out of sleep. Printer works when printing directly from Adobe, and basically anything else. Just not this useless app.
My Android won't print with app. I constantly remove and redownload it. It will briefly work but then it won't pick up and recognize the device. Big pain.
The printer is connected to WiFi and works fine from the PC, but it stopped working from mobile and when trying to add it once again I see just a message " the service is not reachable or invalid"
98% it wont work. I can use it to print a page and the very next page will say offline or will not connect. What good is wifi printing if you cant even use it.
Decent app but sometimes you have to scan twice to get documents on your phone. Which is inconvenient if it's a big pile of documents
iPhone iOS works to the printer. Android unable to print (share to the printer) loaded plugin, notification say sending job 2 queue than nothing happens. (3 different Android devices)
Completely agree with the reviews highlighting problems. This isn't simple 'plug and play' via this App. Don't know if it's firmware on the Printer itself or the App that's at fault. Had to use the Settings directly on the Printer to connect to my wi-fi. Plus had to use the manual WPS method, then force the Printer from Auto to Wireles Network connection. Hence 1 hour just to print a test page. For now I can print via a PC and my Galaxy. Hope this helps others :-).
