Lexulous Word Game

I have enjoyed playing Lexulous for years. Within the last week the app has changed so that flashing ads push the screen up so that cumulative word scores are not visible. Also, an ad takes over my tablet screen after every game and can't be deleted, thereby deplet ing my battery faster than necessary. I'll be doing something else with my Scrabble games because of these changes.

Stops working way more than it should. Update: Shows my games but when I try to play the screens are blank of any tiles, both on the "board" and in my "rack." No way I can play the game. Sometimes app notifies me when it's my turn to play, other times not. Can't figure out why. An opponent and I are both identified by the name ginas.

The concept of the game is really great and fun for enthusiasts of word games, however something has changed in the last 6 months or so where you just cant score and has become boring. Also the number of ads are so frustrating that I play very little. They also want you to buy an ad free game for a few months but am loathe to give my details to facebook and google. They are so invasive in your life. All in all my experience of this lo ely game has soured.

at this point I've been playing this game for over 2 years. but since the start of this year I can't play a lot of words because for some reason MY DICTIONARY IS A FRENCH DICTIONARY WHICH MAKES ME NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY A LOT OF THE WORDS. HOW DID IT CHANGE FROM ENGLISH? PLEASE CHANGE IT AND FIX THE PROBLEM THANK YOU. I just discovered this game about six months ago. I love it and I play it everyday sometimes for hours and sometimes just a few games because that's all I can afford for that day.

I used to love this game and played up to 50 games concurrently and played several times a day. There are now so many ads one after another, frequently the same ad repeatedly, that I no longer enjoy the game and will be looking for a new word game to play. The ads are so annoying and disruptive. I would much rather play a small amount for a game to be ad free but this does not seem to be an option.

The message I put across is very clear. I said you keep advertising every minute we're playing. As such it's high time we gain something from your advertisement revenue. Most games are now paying something to players because of the advertisements they run for organisations. OUR DATA FOR MONEY and not DATA for nothing. The world is CHANGING. With this message I don't expect you to tell me I should state my problem. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone to download now. The advertisement is too much.

Played this for a lot of years now. The adverts now are stuck on my screen suggesting I install this card game and I can't get back to play the Lexulous game. I just want to play game I installed. I have installed the FreeCell game that I want. I am not interested in Solitaire, those are so boring. I will have to stop playing with my Lexulous players. All OK again, it seems to be fixed after I wrote to you, all fine again. Thank you so much I do enjoy this game.

The adverts are becoming increasingly annoying. To make one move I have to suffer thru several minutes of adverts. I love the game but am thinking of uninstalling it and trying something else. Please, please reduce the adverts.

Great game. Some of the ads are very bad. The ads are getting worse. I am thinking of getting rid it. Very annoying.thx for your response. I never look at the ads and they are getting increasingly hard to bypass. Eliminating those particular ads like the bingo ad would be greatly appreciated

Something wonky happened in the app today. Everyone's name is now Ginas and all the emojis defaulted to snowflakes. I have unistalled and reinstalled 4 times to no avail. Also, the relentless, aggressive, intrusive ads keep commandeering the game so I have to keep closing and relaunching the app. It's beyond annoying.

ONLY ADS : As on March 16, 2022. Installed it today. Has been trying to start a game for 10 minutes now, but I can't, because that's how many ads this game has. Can't go 10 seconds without an ad. Horrendous.

Feb-2022 update: 1. Seems to be asking me about data privacy suddenly, and claiming is to the keep the "app free". 2. My email links keep pointing me to the website rather than the app, and the website is an overwhelming mess of adverts. Original: Generally good. I think the letter distribution is a little off (too many vowels?) and won't rotate all pages into landscape so can't easily use with keyboard case on tab

Ads are buggy and out of control. Notifications also buggy 30 second ad to enter AND exit gameplay, even if you have no moves pending Notifications don't clear correctly and also link incorrectly. For example, you click a notification about a game. You watch a 30 second ad, then it opens to an old game that is either over or it isn't your turn. You exit that to go back to your game page, but have to watch another 30 second ad. Then play, then another ad! Also, many ads are inappropriate!

Update January 2022 Still loving Lexulous just as much. The ad free version is extremely reasonably priced, and the game itself rarely has issues. Give it a try!! May 2021: I have just started playing Lexulous as a replacement for EA Scrabble, and am encouraging my friends to do the same. There's a learning curve, of course, like any new game, but I find the resources on the website to be informative, and their customer service very responsive. Loving the game.

Way too many long ads. Way too many vowels. Too many games with no vowels. Many times you end up with 4 e or 4 i . Needs a serious overhaul as used to be a great fun game and now more frustrating than fun.

I am hating playing this game now the ads have become more and more spitefully presented one cannot play a. Word game like this sometimes the same long ads come on twice at one time ads are OK but make them short and sweet so to speak you are completely spoiling the game and train of thought I know all my friends who play with me feel the same so please help us to enjoy our game PLEASE!!!!!!!

This game makes you watch an ad to go into a word and then watch another one when you get in! So 2 ads for every play. It's awful!! I'm done with it.

Fun game but the ads are too long. I had purchased the add free version on my iPad but now have a Samsung tablet. I'm unwilling to pay a monthly subscription fee to Google Play to access an ad free version. Is there a way around this?

In 2017 I gave this app 5 stars. Today I'm deleting it and looking for another similar game. The game itself is still great...but the number of ads has gotten to be ridiculous. Sometimes there are two, sometimes identical, ads between games. Totally ridiculous.

The frequent ads do not close when they are done...it goes to the Google play store and it's almost impossible to get back to the game. There is no x on the corner to close it. We must reboot to get out of it .

Is my original comment taken down? Because you still have 30 second ads just to see the players stats and how many win-loss games there are and you have to watch another one just to get back to your game which is totally over the top I can understand 15 second ads but that is insane

Fun game but keeps going to this site in the middle of a play. Since your app sent me here I'm writing this 2 star review. Extremely loud ads do not stop until I turn my phone off! Unacceptable.

Works very well, just what I have been looking for. The paid version is just pennies for a year and is well worth it to get rid of the ads

MASSIVE ADVERTISING!!!! I have played this game for a long time. The annoying ads went from annoying, to more annoying to excessive and brutally annoying. I refuse to pay for a game app. Be on high alert and anticipate tons of ads along with this game often.

recently installed this game, seems ok presently, would benefit from a word confirmation and possible score as you add each tile, before you finally submit word or word combination. otherwise not a bad game, ads level is bearable, much easier on the nerves than the updated 'scrabble go'.

Ad player with a small word game. Over the top with ads, and not the discreet kind. Full screen videos that waste your data that you cannot stop. Would be a great game but I can watch 15mins of a TV show before I get an ad, here you get one every minute.
