• RES+ enables you to:
• Start and stop the engine (engine must have been remotely started using RES+ in order to turn the engine off remotely) oStarting the engine activates the air conditioner, heater, defroster, defogger, and heated and ventilated front seats (if so equipped), when pre-set before exiting the vehicle, or to the factory default setting of 75°
• Lock and unlock the doors
• Use the Lexus SmartAccess fob as a convenient alternative

I agree with the comment below. I bought lexus rs+ in 2014 for my 2010 rx350 and it just stop working and lexus now tells me that they longer support it even thought I paid close 1,000 to have it installed. Great when it worked but sucked. I give it a 1 because lexus did not provide good service for this product. Very lousy job
I paid $700 to have this feature in my '14 RX and it just stopped working. I pay $55/year for the service. I have been to 2 dealers and nobody knows how to fix it. I have spent countless hours on the phone with Lexus and...nothing. I will never buy another one!!!
You need an RES+ ECU upgrade if your remote start stopped working! Took almost three months to come in, part was backordered. Just got mine working again, finally!!
This service does not work. It is just robbery.

The app makes you login with a complicated password every time. (1 lowercase 1 uppercase 1 number or symbol). Then it ask for a pin to do an action. Why not rember the password and just require a pin. It is also very slow 25-30 seconds just to login 45+ seconds to complete an action. Also the car turns off once the door is open. You have to restart it. Very inconvenient. Wish I knew this before. I would have gone with an aftermarket viper instead.
Something happened too this app it used too work great but after the update now it dose not work now i relley wish that Lexus development department that create these apps wood also keep theam up-to-date and working
Updated review. After owning the car for nearly 5 years, the RES+ app has been hit and miss. While it fails to connect to the vehicle once in a while (even when the vehicle is outside), it usually works ok. At some point recently, the app stopped working. It now just claims I'm not connected to any network or Wi-Fi, even though I am, sometimes both. Tested on another device and it still happens. Lexus says at this point you have to call the dealer. Will update when I get to that point.
