It seems like they're still in the debugging phase. Video doesn't really work most of the time whether accessed through the site or the app (at least newer vids using chromecast). Some say I need to subscribe while others will play but can't connect to my chromecast. These seem like issues that will likely be cleared up within a week but the introduction of the app seems to have interfered with the proper functioning of the site.

Every time I try to open the app it just tells me that I'm offline even though I'm not... When I do sometimes manage to get on, the video player is very fickle, either wants to work properly or it doesn't. Just touching the live stream screen causes it to pause which is very annoying when you accidentally swipe your finger on it. Doesn't seem to work very well with Chrome Cast either. It's been months and none of these problems have been resolved.

This would be much better if I could get the matches to full screen size on my phone so I can watch the games better, instead of struggling to see the players. It's ridiculous that you have an enlarge button but it doesn't even do anything, I hold my phone portrait and press the button and it does exactly the same thing as if I turn my phone to landscape. Create a way to be able to watch the matches in full screen size not some pissy little box that makes it look better like a small 70s TV

It's very irritating to cast via this app. It buffers even at high speed connections. The UI isn't that great and feels average. The casting is the worst I've felt on an app. It's horrible and irritates a lot, everytime I need to switch to my tv screen I have to pray for the casting to work and even if it does I cannot move to a new video without officially stopping the cast, closing the app and then restarting it just to watch another video on TV.. that's absolutely rubbish and horrible.

I get this service for 1 month every year for the pre season matches. There is still no improvement on a lot of things. The chromecast feature is awful. After watching a video you cannot cast another one it just plays it on the device. The volume is so low when streaming I have to turn it up double to what the TV normally has. There should be an option to create a video playlist so you don't have to go back to the app every time a video ends. So glad I didn't have to pay for the month this time.

Family has subscription to watch matches. Don't have problems with the quality of the videos themselves, but when watching a match and casting it to Chromecast, the video starts over every 10 min. Nothing to do with my own internet connection as I have tested casting movies from different apps.

Great content, poor app. Search is convoluted, no skip controls in playback, lower sixth of the video is cut off on my phone (only in app, not browser), playlists are very limited, no quality option (eg. to reduce quality to use less data), no audio-only option for live commentary. A grind to use. I only persevere for the Reds!

I got a months free trial to watch the pre season games and unfortunately I will not be renewing as streaming to a Chromecast just repeatedly cuts out. Luckily I have another tv where I can just stream directly from the webpage but that isn't the point really. Man City have an app on Samsung tv's so I'm not sure why Liverpool don't have this also. Bottom line, I would not pay for this channel unless the streaming issues got sorted.

Great content, poor experience and execution. The cast functionality is awful. If you lock your screen the cast stops, of you put the app in the background the cast repeats in a loop from the point when you locked the screen. The cast drops out often. There is content missing from the app that's on the website, a number of the playlists say zero videos but if you view the same playlist on the website the videos are there. This is a really bad app. You need to fix the Chromecast issues.

Purchased the membership. Tried to watch the game and it kept telling me that I am not subscribed. Yet when I tap on the link to subscribe it takes me to my account which shows that I am subscribed. The app stole my money. I paid for the service and can't use it. Tried to contact the developers but the email apparently doesn't exist anymore. Convenient for them. I WANT A REFUND! Also the coupon code for a free month didn't work. They charged me from the start. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! It's a scam!!!!!!

Awful, Casting is terrible its basically just a mirror of what's on my Samsung phone, so the phone has to stay on continually i cannot use the phone to do anything else while casting, as soon as i use the back button on my phone the cast stops. The new LFC app is no better as the Chromecast feature is no longer there. If the cast issue with this app and the new LFC app don't get fixed i will not be renewing my subscription.

The video playback is extremely bad. It switches back to portrait mode on its own even though auto rotate is off. It doesn't play some videos and even though I can get to play 1440p on YouTube without an issue, playing a life stream here is a headache. Please fix this, it's sad to see such good content have such an awful viewing experience.

Never thought i would say this about my clubs apps but this is awful. I stopped subscribing even though the content was good, the app just doesn't work like it used to before the changes. Its still rubbish a year later and still no improvement. Just use the mobile website, at least chromecast works. Uninstalled.

I want to love it, but it isn't working great on my Samsung android tablet. It only allows vertical viewing until a video is selected and then the video doesn't fill the full screen. If this were fixed, then I would love to rate it higher.

Ive used previous versions that had problems, particularly not consistently playing videos. Evidence here that they have listened and developed a much better app. I really enjoy watching as it provides a great service for those unable to attend but I've memories of Anfield in1960s with dad and uncle home and away. Great app & thanks.

The chromecast functions need urgent improvement. Having to reconnect between each video is clunky and unreliable. Great content and club access let down by a poor interface.

Casting to a TV is buggy and unwatchable. It will randomly restart whatever it is you're watching. It will stop when your phone screen goes off. Got premium for half price for the first year so will keep it but will not be renewing if these issues aren't fixed.

Can't fault the content or quality of the videos. 2 issues, though: - Can't use Chromecast unless the screen stays on. - A spoiler-free option would be nice. Other than that, all good.

Nice design. However, impossible to use it unless I'm connected to the Wi-fi. Checked settings and made sure connection only via wi-fi is unchecked. Still can't use it via a data connection.

Awful from the start. Struggled to get my card to work. Onlt app/website that gave me the issue so it's not my card. Then once I got it to work, I typed in the promo code for the free month, the app showed it applied it, yet charged me immediately with no free month. Then when I tried to watch the game I just payed £4 for, it wouldn't let me. Everytime I go to watch the game it tells me to subscribe. Then when I tap on the link to subscribe, it takes me to my account which shows I am subscribed.

TV casting on the Android app is flakey. If trying to watch a second video need to relaunch app to get it to load. Why show final scores in video headings? So annoying when you're trying to see the match without knowing the score.

-1Star: On the video player in full screen mode, the back button, chromecast icon and bottom border doesn't disappear once the video is playing in full screen. It's distracting! I'm on a Pixel 3.. -1 Star: No user history

Recently updated and now has both Chromecast and overall stability issues on Androud devices. Too many videos in standard definition. C'mon Reds, lets have a streaming service befitting our great club!!!

app is good. But 1. Let us choose the quality as well as keep auto function on mobile devices 2. when we play the video next time plz make it start from where we left off 3. plz allow us to bookmark or watch later function 4. Add more collection of matches right away like atleast for last 6 seasons especially champions league

Chromecast barely works anytime I try to cast to my TV, also please have a toggle for spoilers free mode so we don't see the score on the app because it diminishes the surprise of watching matches on demand when we don't have time to watch them live.

Can not make it a five star because the radio stream closes if the app isn't open on left untouched. I wish I could lock my screen or use other apps while listening to the app.

Rubbish, am a paid up member with login and password etc. However it wont log me in, and reset password option that sends you an email also doesnt work, as it doesnt send an email. Utter waste of time if unable to get in it, or the support. PANTS

Great library of videos which are very easy to browse. Deducting one star as the actual media player is lacking controls to skip back and forward.
