LFGdating - Gamer Dating App

Buggy, that's my first impression. It's a cool Idea but my crashes if I swipe 3 full swipes while browsing matches EVERY SINGLE TIME. Also, when I filter out my matches, find someone attractive, tap on their account and back out to either keep searching, the search preferences get wiped out, so you have to re-select your search preferences, which is not ideal no matter how you look at it. So once more, it's a cool idea, but the app is far from finished.

I think the app is beautiful and easy to use. However, I would suggest an option which allows us to change our dating preference. Such as male, female or both. I noticed that once I picked female, I could not change that setting. I think you should also do more advertising of this app to get more people 🙂 Maybe purchase a sponsored ad on Facebook.

I appreciate that someone is making a real attempt at making a dating site for gamers, but there's room for improvement here. First off, apparently a picture isn't required, so many profiles without pictures. Please make that a requirement. Messaging has an email format which feels too cumbersome, consider making it more like text chat to help a conversation flow. It runs slow when looking at my own profile, but fast everywhere else, kinda weird. "back" button oftens goes too far and wastes time

Horrible dating app. Makes you scroll through a huge list of "matches" and doesnt save where you were so if you click on someone and go back it brings you all the way to the top. The website is slightly better in this regard. Messaging is completely useless since very few people have premium and cant message back. I paid for premium once and instantly regretted it. After sending a bunch of messages no one even opened them. Dont use this app! I want a refund.

Trash. Costs $30 minimum to do anything except look at pics of people not only in different countries, but different continents. That's useful all right when you set the distance to >50 miles. Show me people in England, no, better yet, Ukraine. This app will 100% do that.

App is pretty good but, the reason its 3 stars because it doesnt have enough people that use it. Lucky the plans are affordable 3 month plan is reasonably $9.99 which is not bad at all you even get a extra month free so thats whats up. I think this app has potential it just needs more women or guys that are gamers. There are fakes you can tell who is real & not. It needs updates tho with new features like users active button, more personalization features, more Filter Options, etc.

Nothing really works even when subscribed. Several years old and still trash with no one on it. Missing a lot of features like last online and has a weird messaging thing thats like email for some reason. If you message someone you don't even know if they get on anymore so could be pointless.

This app has the best customer service I have received in a long while. When you ask a question via email it goes directly to the owners who personally responded to me within 1 business day. I had an issue where I was still being billed for a subscription for an account I no longer had. Both Casey and Patrick responded to my concern and not only stopped the billing but offered me a full refund for the months I was billed when not using the service. The app itself is pretty well-designed and easy to set up with basic features like a picture, location, and gaming preferences. My only complaint is that there just wasn't enough women in my area signed-up. I'd say give it a try in your area as it's free to create your account, and then you can always subscribe if you see someone you like. If you're unhappy, they have great customer service.

Not too bad. I've been looking for a dating app with more people that have gaming, comic, and anime interests and the such. It lacks the pool of people to choose from compared to the mainstream ones. Probably should try to get your service more out there by advertising on gaming sites, conventions, etc. Plus, the app should have more features that caters to gamers - like a community forum area where folks can find each other for gaming, exchange Discord info, or listing of games they play.

I've been a lifetime member since around 2014. Since then I've seen mostly the same profiles now as I did then. I've had 1 person to chat with until she deleted her profile. I still have faith and I put a time stamp on my profile on when I was last online. It would be nice to have all those dead profiles removed. Also having a last online would be a plus. Having more people is badly needed, but you can only do so much with advertising. Keep up the good work Patrick.

Just like Yeri G said. They claim no responsibility for recurring subscriptions. I have all subscriptions cancelled through Google yet I continue to be charged by Glass Boot Ventures LLC each month. When reaching out to customer support They just keep trying to offer me free premium time despite me stating I am still being charged and I just want it cancelled. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO

*Response* My bank shows that the $5 monthly charge is coming from you guys, not Google and I even checked Google to see if I have a subscription and it's empty. And I'm not looking for free premium time, I just want my money back that you guys have been taking for the past 7 months after I cancelled, I also already have a gf.. Fraud! Don't give your card info. Just realized they've been charging me for months even though I'm pretty sure I cancelled after the first month of trying it out!

Seems like a bit of a scam to lure gamers in. You pay $5 a month for a premium membership for a service that's only good at creating long distance relationships (if even that). Very few people on this app, which in itself isn't an issue, but don't scam people out of money when you know your platform is barely used. Edit: Somehow I doubt "tens of thousands" of people have used this app...

Literally cannot get in. Try to create an account but fails with a blank error. Check to see if there is an account with my enail address, and there is -- so i used the username i am provided to reset my password but get no reset pw link. Might be a decent app, but too much headache getting started.

Seemed intriguing at first, but this app is running a 2003 paytodoanything model. Utterly useless if you dont pay Especially since you can't see who is near you before paying. Have to pay to contact people, or use any meaningful sorting. Guys theres a reason why no of downloads is "100s". Just make me watch a stupid ad before first messaging someone. You get paid AND it prevents me from simply typing DTF?! to everyone on your list. Charge for NO ads. its 2012+7 over here, c'mon now boys!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Worst service. Can't cancel my account or subscription because my password is "wrong" and I can't reset my password. Whenever I do password reset I put in the correct username and email and nothing ever comes leaving me unable to enter the account and cancel it. 0/10

This app doesn't appear to work at all when trying to sign up for the app it's just stuck on the sign up screen forever

I can't even register. I tried registering on the website, and it loops to clear the boxes. Then, the app just says error when I push the register button. No wonder they rate this app only a 1 out of 5.

Giving the app and website 3 stars, mainly because of the basic layout and (seems to be) dead community. Been on the website and app for a few days now, and even upgraded for a month to check it out. Just seems to be long inactive accounts, at least from my experience. Not seeking a refund because I'm hopeful the devs can do better in the future with retaining members. POF and Tinder still seem to be my best bet, atm; but I long for a terrific gamer related dating site.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Reading the other reviews I thinking "This app can't be that bad." HOLY it is TERRIBLE! You need premium to even be able to message anyone as well as they still haven't fixed the glitch i read about where it goes back to the top, scrolled down twice and got tired of it LOL joke of an app >W<

Actually useless, no messaging, searching or any actual features unless you pay money. At that point don't make profiles free, just charge for the app. Seriously, you've gotta respect your users enough to give them features or at least set a standard

I was able to create an account, but my zip code has no one nearby me. Maybe the app isn't popular enough for my area.

I'm trying to cancel subscription that i Bought. I have a receipt with your company name taking out the the money. I clicked on the link to cancel or unsubsribe and your telling.. (No sweat . you don't have a subscription with us so there is nothing to cancel. Your app is a scam. BBB should be called on you to investigate your business...

Like 8 girls on here and their no where near me, and there's no way to lower the search radius. Neat idea on paper, but unfortunately there's still way too many male gamers, and very little female ones.

Real buggy. I tried to register and even though all fields were filled in correctly it kept saying error without saying what the error was and would not allow me to register.

I guess I'll uninstall, won't take my login, and no email to reset the password. Wasn't much of anyone of interest anyway.

Cant even register giving two stars because the app is a good concept and I hope to at least upgrade to 3-4 stars but we will see.

literally paid 8 dollars to have no matches near me. their profile UI is absolutely terrible and you have no idea where to look

Not a single person came up in a 100 mile range from me. App is a huge waste and I wouldn't spend your money to find out no one is using it.
